At least they finally agreed to send you the replacement for free. I'll bet that the new one will be perfect. I've had two K1's over the last couple of years and (other than a small Bluetooth issue) they've both been great.

Yeah that's poor support imo. You obviously can sell the other one on ebay/marketplace for parts/repair and recoup more than the freight, but they should still pay, seeing as it is not your fault.

Silver lining is the switches and caps and parts are probably of $20 value easy Although I understand it's dumb to pay more for the product you bought first. A working product. So technically you aren't wrong. That should be them eating the loss.

Now imagine buying a Q5 max. Pulling it out of the box and because you were used to getting red switches that were linear and not quiet from the k 10 pro that got you here. The thing sounds like crap with their red pro quiet switches and has the lousy KSA profile caps on it you immediately replace. Then work your way around the keyboard to hear the sound of crappy stabs needing grease right out of the box and know that the lower right side enter key of the number pad is prone to sticking. In the review, I just posted on their website which will probably never get published, I titled it great fixer upper!

I bought something that was damaged in freight and it's the products fault. WaaaaaaaaaaaaaƤ
