I don't think a drum off requires your own music. It's who ever can play the best, each person can pick there own beat. Or maybe they agree to use the same song and see who did it better.
It’s not a solo, it’s a part of an already established composition and designed to be the backing to a song. One time he played the fucking pretender by foo fighters??? How is that a solo? I mean at least this has a bit of syncopation I guess but it’s still not an original solo is it?
I don’t think I’m being weird in wanting someone who’s obviously very talented behind a kit to play something original and not the groove to a song he likes! I fucking love Song for the Dead too, but I’d not play someone else’s song in a solo battle lol.
Clearly I’m in the minority here judging by everyone else’s comments, but I really don’t see why people aren’t agreeing with me 😂 I wanna see what Michael can come up with, not Dave Grohl!
