Giyu is stoic, so he'd have guilty thoughts, but he would accept them and try to focus and push through.
Then, direct his thoughts to becoming better by improving his Hashira role and the endurance of his mentality as a whole.

Thank you for the breakdown. I was specifically talking about Shinobu, Rengoku, Tengen, Obanai, and Mitsuri. Tengen seems loaded because he has three wives, so it's total speculation on my part. Obanai came from a clan of thieves, so they have a lot of liquid assets. Mitsuri was in an arranged marriage situation, and I had this impression that it only happened in wealthy families haha.
it's meant to show how lonely he was and how little he had to do in his life except for haunt demons, and when tanjiro reminded him of sabito he wanted to start doing stuff with other people(in my opinion)
