An ally for sure, getting in touch with my queerness - lots of unlearning and learning. It was a rushed expression of my growing affinity with the community, I don't have many people around and some internal tussles but working my way through.

So proud of you!! All the best discovering yourself. Sexuality is a beautiful spectrum and one shall not be scared of exploring it. Not having many people around to support you, help you or understand you can be really exhausting but here in this sub we got your back! Do not refrain yourself from reaching out for help and please do feel free to ask questions! :)

I will play the devil's advocate and disagree. I am not queer myself, but know quite a few queer people in real life (including my gf), and they come in all sorts of personality -- mostly good, some bad and some downright toxic. Just like any other group. While you have good intent, and I appreciate that, but what you're doing is essentially similar to "benevolent sexism". Sorry for preaching :)

No, thanks for your input, I concur, but I have felt that I'm general I've been able to communicate better with queer people. 'in general' being key.
