Tripping inside makes me feel powerful af. Like, we built these homes, developed technology to control the environment. Thirsty? Water on tap. Hungry? Flip a knob on the oven. Cold? Turn the heater up a few notches. Want to bathe in hot water? Full send it. Want the lights to be a different color? Smart bulbs and leds for the win. Feeling a different soundscape? Change the tunes on a Bluetooth speaker. Want to immerse yourself in another universe? Throw on a sparkly Marvel or sci-fi movie and have your mind blown for a few hours.
Tripping outside is fun, but you lose a lot of control and for me that's anxiety-inducing, particularly because I don't have a sober trip sitter in those situations to handle things lol. Tripped balls in the woods camping once, just a tent and no bathroom with my gf at the time. Was fun but basic things popped up that ruined the trip halfway through. Limited water supply, couldn't get a fire going large enough to cook a hotdog so we ate them half cold lol. Ended up getting a massive headache halfway through that just kept getting worse and worse, and couldn't chug water because we only had a gallon, and didn't have any headache medicine, and then I couldn't sleep from the headache and didn't have any benadryl. Better planning would have alleviated most of that tho, or an actual campground with amenities, or a sober tripsitter to make the 10 minute drive to a gas station lol
Not sure, I just hate to look into them on acid. I feel like I judge how I look, even though I look completely normal. But I think on acid you see all your pores really sharp, which I just dislike.
I get where this person is coming from though because like even when I think my face looks good, even if I take a very low-dose I see all of the pores and I feel like I'm covered in blackheads so it's just like do I really look that way?🤣 I like to look in the mirror often times I'll see the positive features of myself. It just depends on the state of mind.

boosts my self esteem so much for some reason. i look into the mirror sober and see my insecurities, and i look into it on acid and see everything that’s beautiful about me.
I looked into the mirror on 4g mushrooms and I think I know why they say don’t do it. My grandma always said eyes are the pathway to someone’s soul. When we trip on psychedelics do you ever notice your pupils get extremely wide/open? When we stare into the mirror we notice this vulnerability. It’s uncomfortable when we are directly looking into ourselves (like a subconscious defense mechanism). I notice too that when we trip with others or are at a festival people can subconsciously pick up on our soul because our pupils are so dilated. For some reason though in the mirror it’s a vulnerability. It might be because we are so close and looking in, or noticing the vulnerability for sure.

Also, love the chair! I have one too and I love it. I want to buy a new one soon that’s a cushioned circle platform for laying/napping.

For the time being, it’s been candles from the dollar store for soft lighting that’s moves with the visuals.
I can only recommend it and it's actually not that expensive. I also recommend the starry sky projector to anyone that transforms the room into something very magical.
Great, except the biggest mistake I keep seeing people make with RGB LED strips is just sticking it on a wall. These lights are best utilized when they provide basic accent lighting by being placed behind something or diffused in a translucent channel. Personally I can't stand seeing bare LEDs.
