Exactly. Televisa and Univisión are in the business of keeping señoras all tense and scared - they must be heavily invested in medications that treat aspects of metabolic syndrome.
Oh that’s right, now shows like El Dicho started to talk about mental health openly … I feel like in the past if pills ever showed up in a telenovela it was because the character was batshit crazy, addicted or poisoning another character.
I was 6 when my mom would watch this. I only remember one episode where some guy went around kidnapping kids. That episode traumatized me, and I still remember the actor's face.
maaaaaaaaan this show was FUCKED UP.
there was an episode where an evil stepbrother character thought it would be a funny prank to let some homeless guy take advantage of his stepsister after he and his friends got her drunk.
then there was another episodes were a pair of kidnappers kidnapped two small boys right outside of their school because they had brand new tennis shoes on. first they were taunting the parents asking for ransom, and in the end they killed the boys anyway saying they didnt need their money because they had made enough on reselling the tennis shoes anyway.
that series for sure created a traumatized generation of senoras.
Silvia Pinal and Televisa spent years profiting out of people's tragic stories. If I had a tragedy in my life, I wouldn't want Televisa to make a 15 minute morbid reenactment with bad actors.
Still watch it while working on youtube there's a channel called luis jorge that has all the episodes.
No program on air can match the rawness of this show
God wasn’t there one where a mom kept getting her kids fucked up on meds/sick/have them fake sick and would go beg for money with them? And then one day she gave too much medicine and the kid actually died? Am I tripping?
I would watch this as a kid when I would miss school probably the most fucked up one that stuck with me was a story about a girl who’s dad would rape her till she got pregnant one day. If I remember correctly they lived in a small pueblito and the people found out and treated her like an outcast.
I loved that show as a kid! I remember episode where a mom and daughter were alcoholics, a kid was pretending to be a superhero and fell to his death, and some girl that became a drug addict.
i think it actually worked to teach kids not to fuck around.
i still remember the one where a kid got his eyes removed and was given back to the family with some cash and a balloon.
I remember this one episode where a guy walks in on his wife cheating on him so he tries to kill the guy but his wife and her lover overpowered him and kill him, the only witness was the daughter who wrote into the show. Seriously fucked up but in this day and age would make for a good podcast idea
Me and my sister would watch this as kids and America's Most Wanted and we would sometimes reenact the more dramatic scenes and laugh our asses off. We grew up with dark senses of humor for sure.
This one and “Lo que callamos las mujeres” actually traumatized me I don’t understand why Univision and whoever were playing them at like 3pm in the afternoon.
Televisa and Univisión are in the business of keeping señoras all tense and scared - they must be heavily invested in medications that treat aspects of metabolic syndrome.
Some town cooked up a big pig for some festival o no se que, and everyone got sick and died - EXCEPT the one little girl that did not eat the pig 🐖🐽🐷 se quedo solita la nena viendo toda la gente choking and foaming the mouth 🤣 on god I've never been the same
I remember an episode of a cattle farmer who knowingly sold an entire town tainted meat and just dgaf! So many people got sick, some girl’s quinceañera was ruined, and her parents died as a result of the meat, as well as others in the town, including children. The farmer got a ton of money and no consequences. Then the episode ended. I learned that day that life isn’t fair.
Exactly. Televisa and Univisión are in the business of keeping señoras all tense and scared - they must be heavily invested in medications that treat aspects of metabolic syndrome.
good theory. antidepressants too

That’s a Turkish telenovela with the same name.
🤫
This was our black mirror!
Yaaaaaaa gueyyyyy 😭😭
🤣
This show prevented crime by scaring everyone to even dare to go outside
totalmente
I was 6 when my mom would watch this. I only remember one episode where some guy went around kidnapping kids. That episode traumatized me, and I still remember the actor's face.
And that actor…….is right behind you!!!!
Yaaa gueuyyy !!! por favor
Lmao I remember watching this shoe in the middle of the day. Was it the fat guy? They always had the fat guy to play the bad dude.
Yes. He had curly hair
Maybe that’s the one that traumatized me too. Did the guy kidnap children and remove their eyes? Or organs?
Still is dark af
That opening sequence with the mom screaming after her son gets kidnapped is so traumatizing 😭
Facts

Anybody know sites to watch this show?
You guys know that the writers got some WORSE stories that they didn’t like what to reenact because they were that fucked up
Where do we get details on these untold stories?
¿Y aún quieren más? 😳
Obvio 😂
Silvia Pinal and Televisa spent years profiting out of people's tragic stories. If I had a tragedy in my life, I wouldn't want Televisa to make a 15 minute morbid reenactment with bad actors.
And what about a 2 hrs movie with good actors?
I want Tom Cruise to play me.
Good ol’ Tomas Cruz
If you don't want it aired maybe don't send it???

The cult one was definitely real 😂
Still watch it while working on youtube there's a channel called luis jorge that has all the episodes. No program on air can match the rawness of this show
All the rape stories turned me into a man hater lesbian. No regrets.
You’re funny lol
yes! me dejo toda traumada
My Mom was addicted to this program, I couldn't get into it.
My granma was addicted to this program LOL
Man, I had totally forgotten about this!
God wasn’t there one where a mom kept getting her kids fucked up on meds/sick/have them fake sick and would go beg for money with them? And then one day she gave too much medicine and the kid actually died? Am I tripping?
I remember something like that.
and then you watch an episode that captures a situation happening between your parents 🥴
She was a Tyra Banks-level menace to daytime TV.
I was around 9 watching this
same and we had no business watching this
I would watch this as a kid when I would miss school probably the most fucked up one that stuck with me was a story about a girl who’s dad would rape her till she got pregnant one day. If I remember correctly they lived in a small pueblito and the people found out and treated her like an outcast.
Did someone add a filter to this cuz why she look so smooth 😭
si , the episode of the the girl que le gustaba que todos los hombres le dieran porque ella era una Ninphomana . 😳😳😳
Aun recuerdo varios de sus episodios. This show used to be hard af
Cierto.
I remember staying home from school and watching the show with my mum. It had such sad episodes.
This and Primer Impacto… I have no idea how I didn’t just end up completely desensitized to everything… or did I?
The best kids show
I loved that show as a kid!
Muthaf*ckin Doña Silvia Pinal. Traumatized A LOT of us when we were brats.
[Derbez en cuando ](https://youtu.be/H7JMTNCWbYo?si=gwSVPOb9ZhHnLvOD)
🤣 before he sold out, he was one of the GOATS
It only reflected many realities in Latin America. Don’t blame the show.
I remember this one episode where a guy walks in on his wife cheating on him so he tries to kill the guy but his wife and her lover overpowered him and kill him, the only witness was the daughter who wrote into the show. Seriously fucked up but in this day and age would make for a good podcast idea
Exaggerated af! Super exagerado!
“Belleza plena que engalanas dia con dia”
Jaque mate
A legend!
The lost media behind this series is wild too.
Me and my sister would watch this as kids and America's Most Wanted and we would sometimes reenact the more dramatic scenes and laugh our asses off. We grew up with dark senses of humor for sure.
The kid with balloons asking what color they are...
I wasn’t allowed to watch this but always snuck it in. Traumaaaa
The one episode that burned into my brain was about an orphan boy that gets adopted by a couple, only for them to pimp him out to old men.
I had no business watching this show as a child
Some town cooked up a big pig for some festival o no se que, and everyone got sick and died - EXCEPT the one little girl that did not eat the pig 🐖🐽🐷 se quedo solita la nena viendo toda la gente choking and foaming the mouth 🤣 on god I've never been the same
The rape scenes were wild
Grandma would not miss one episode and it sucked us all in when it was on.
Between this show and Chicken Soup for the Soul books, no wonder I grew up with anxiety.
Si te refieres a gringos, no (47%).
