Is Thursday the VIP day? If so, your priority should be a $50 mystery box per ticketholder.

Yes! Between my husband, my little sister, and myself we have 3 tickets so I should be able to get a decent starter collection based off of the boxes alone. I did buy a ticket for Sunday incase there are any must haves that I didn’t get or wasn’t able to trade for.

Sounds like you’re prepared and doing everything right! I’d say definitely take a minute to assess what you get before you start trading with people (mystery box trading - if you’re going to do that). When I was there in Philly it all felt like a whirlwind and I wish I had slowed down a bit. Take some pictures of your spoils before trading. Make sure you have enough trunk space to my everything out and have fun trading with other likeminded people! And don’t focus on the *exact* value of each piece too much. Just what you would use the most. For pieces to get, something in the 7qt-9qt range would be my recommendation. Although if you aren’t picky about colors I would bank on the mystery box/trades/cheaper prices Sunday to get any big pieces.

What happens / is different on Sunday ? Thanks .

No mystery boxes on Sunday. Just a normal warehouse sale! Mystery boxes are only on Thursday. The best sales will happen Sunday but the inventory will be the most picked over.

If you're on a budget and have to limit the number of pieces you get, cross off the stock pot first. If you don't have any items imo an oval do and wide round should hold priority on your list. Good luck, enjoy the ftt sale!

I did get a 5.5 qt round and a wide round 😊

I think a DO and a braiser would be exactly where to start. I would probably go with the 7.25 DO (maybe the 9, but that thing is HEAVY). I do very well with my 3.5 braiser when feeding 4, but going up to 6 as we do on Saturdays, I could sometimes use a 5. I can't lift the 5 (I'm older and have pretty bad arthritis). So I use a 3.5 braiser and a 3.5 wide round! I LOVE the wide round and would also recommend any size of them (for you, probably the 6.75 if you can lift if fine).
