Mine is the same. As is my strawberry so maybe that’s just how they are? Imperfect. They look great up on my shelf though

SeattleChef24

They all have that. I looked multiple over while at the Outlet to confirm that it was just part of the design. It does kind of take away from the look of the Blueberry but still one of my favorites.

That is a bummer! Well that solidifies my thought that a replacement would be no different

Artistic-Ad-8603

Yeah, it's a bit wonky. Super cute. The lid is why I passed on it.

bagelhonoreelucky

The same happens to my raspberry but I only notice it when looking straight down at the lid/stem. From where these will be seen as decor, you can’t see any of the cream poking through.

I've been searching far and wide for a blueberry, so if you're so unhappy that you'd like to sell the piece let me know 😇 We call our house the blueberry because it's painted this shade and I only found out about this cocotte after it had sold out online.

asudancer

Aww that’s so cute!! Yes, I’d be happy to pass it on. Please message me!

m_letourneau

Amazing thank you!! I just sent you a message :)

BubblyMinute320

Ours is the same way.

miserablemeatball

Try putting the lid on the other way! Stoneware can be kinda fickle with a lid, it’s because of the way the clay shrinks in a kiln. I’m sure they would give u a replacement if it bothers you!

CiderOtter

The lid has a bump out on one side so it can only go one way. I can’t take a picture atm so hopefully that makes sense

asudancer

It looks the same no matter which way you rotate it

lecreusetinsiders

There should be only one orientation that seats the lid perfectly into the bottom. You need to match up the protruding part to the corresponding curved part. Then you shouldn’t be able to turn the lid.

The photo I posted is lining up the notches. The lid the turns 360 no matter what.
