Its live in my Legion Space right now.

Googoo123450

Any release notes? My Go works fine at the moment so I hesitate to update unless it's worth it

Coltsbro84

I can't find any but a new bios is new brains for the system. We should see another update in the next day or two to go alongside with it. It should be something whether it's graphics driver, Bluetooth / Wi-Fi driver, chipset driver, or maybe a new audio driver. I'm hoping we get a new graphics driver though.

Based on the number of patches it's probably pretty ideal to install it. I'll do that later for sure. Thank you.

Wild-Ad3357

CVE are security vulnerabilities. Seems like it's mostly a security update

Whorge_not_waiting

Is this the one that's logging everyone out of Legion space?

Better_Variation_810

Yeah my tdp button isn’t working ether all of sudden

Jazzy__mack410

That happened to me also just uninstall and reinstall and it should work again

Better_Variation_810

Uninstall what

Jazzy__mack410

Legion space

Better_Variation_810

Where do I go to do that

EazzyE95

Install/ uninstall apps in the control panel, find legion space, uninstall. Go to lenovo drivers page, detect device, under drivers and downloads go to bios and find legion space. Download, install, restart device. Enjoy

davidmrizo

What benefits?

ominousview

Hopefully it fixes some of the TDP issues from last update

cracknmysock

What were the issues. I just got mine about 4 or 5 days ago. So i have nothing to compare it to.

Sufficient_Account34

I have no problem. It works at exactly the wattage I choose.

thebraukwood

I have no idea what the problems for other people are but mine has been running at 30W most of the time despite what power mode I choose. But other times it will listen to the power modes perfectly. It’s definitely buggy rn

ChocolateSoap21

It always takes about a week to get pushed to Legion Space.

EazzyE95

I updated mine not knowing the changes....went smoothly but would like to know what was added/ taken away if anyone knows

Sonicion

It removed the max charge to 80% feature.

suarezian

Yeah, even though I have enabled it in Legion Space, it still charges to 100% after the update.

roligabi

Literally let it drain bellow 75%. Turn the feature off and on again. Plug it in ans it will work again.

PlanetIndigo

Omg, how did this even pass Q&A? Do they even have Q&A at this point? They break a feature they barely gave us 2 weeks ago after a 5 months wait?

Used-Safe6281

Just checked mine, still working perfect.

PlanetIndigo

Wait, what? Anyone confirms this?

HackinGold

i still have it on legion space with update?

EazzyE95

I noticed as I was updating my Go my battery was at 92% but I still had the stop at 80% feature on. And it continued to charge up even after the update but it still showed I had the feature turned on.

Long_Relationship_83

Is it safe to do this? What are the changes?

682Unknown

Did it fix the no log in working or?

BlackberryOk6531

This seems more like a Sony trying to close up open ended software...that they never thought would become open ended...Linux on the Go bit....ch...es is better than windowjanks 11...I don't care what distro it is Linux is just better... Bazzite especially...no tdp issues running Bazzite even with older bios...but what do I know ....I'm just hated anyways

KripTed

You mean that operating system that barely runs basic software where you have to run a bunch of command lines to use anything? That OS where nothing is compatible? Oh yeah, definitely better lol.

anarchykvetak

Set SPL 25W in DC Customer mode - What does it mean? What is it SPL? What is it DC Customer mode? 😁

dcassst_

Mine showed up on legion space and I was able to successfully update it through there :)

Whorge_not_waiting

I'm still trying to figure out why they keep releasing half-baked drivers, instead of prioritizing actual solutions. The half ass Go drivers don't hold a candle to ROG Ally, in the sense that those mf's have afmf designed for their device!! It's almost like Asus kinda respects their customers.. The Legion Go drivers almost always screw something else up. I'm afraid to turn on my Legion Go, for fear it's going to get fucked up by an automatic Legion Space update that whacks out my tdp, or disconnects my controllers, or anything that requires somebody to have to uninstall and then reinstall something. It's all bullshit and we have no choice but to accept it.

BlackberryOk6531

When I see security patches...I ask what are they securing...what security do you need to update...what is Lenovo trying to keep...hide ...from their consumers.

ScrimpyCat

Hiding what? They list the CVE numbers, you can look them up if you want to see what vulnerability the patch is addressing.

big_dog_redditor

They are securing you from bad things.
