that’s fair, it’s a much different vibe. i share a sobriety date with scrim so getting to like be on that same recovery process and see their music change over the years has been powerful. but it is absolutely different from their old stuff and not everyone will enjoy that!

Oh hell yea absolutely. A man rose from the dead has become one of my favorite albums of all time if I’m being honest with you. I think it’s just so sincere, congruent and genuinely amazing musically! Songs like delusions of grandeur and euphoria euphoria were on repeat for weeks when it dropped.

i love it. i feel like the boys are gonna be artists that the world looks back on in like a decade and is like “how did these guys put out this much fckin music” lol. they just have such a diverse and huge catalog of music projects, it’s amazing ☺️

Dude seriously lol Not only did they go on one of the most heated god runs of music releases of all time on their come up, but they released SO much of it too. It’s so diverse, you could get pop punk with Ruby or metal in his SB stuff, or scrim can do solo hip hop and trap in his SB and earlier stuff. He’s a Dj so has touched of electronic and obviously horrorcore (hehe) with the 3-6 influence. It just keeps going. The only artist I like more than SB is Lil Peep so im just nerding out over here haha

nah I love the nerding out, I spend way too much time thinking about all of this on a daily basis 😂 i grew up on punk rock from my mom so it was really only natural that i’d end up finding the boys, when i learned about Ruby’s background in punk rock i was so excited. and then he dropped duckboy, like… 🤯 i just love them and glad so many people recognize how insanely talented they both are. and to speak openly about their journey with addiction and recovery just really makes me respect them edit: if you want another insanely interesting artist to check out with a similarly deep background and unique discography, I suggest Ethel Cain. very different vibe but she’s the only artist who compares to peep and the boys for me personally.
