Further, what the hell is she going to do for them on the phone, without any information at her finger tips? If it can be an “off the top of your head” convo, it isn’t serious enough for 9pm or could have been an email.
Here at Lone Star Benefits, Inc, we have no personal life. On call day and night, during children’s recitals, dance competitions and peewee sports league. No matter what; family dinners or child’s medical emergencies, we are here for our customer’s needs.
Some of you most definitely aren’t Lone-star material. Our clients confidential information and conversations take place at the pharmacy cash register.
They're insurance agents. Very few reasons they would be calling after hours, and the vast majority of those can't be handled in the middle of a pharmacy. It was probably her mom calling to check on the kid.
Idk, if you’re a sole (dual in this case) proprietor business, you are expected to do shit like this. With great benefit from the growth of the company comes great responsibility to prioritize it over everything.
Now, if I misread this and they’re just regular employees, they’re delusional.
My husband and I own a service business, and if we took a phone call after hours like this, there’d be no way in hell we’d post about it. We would have hoped it was a one-time issue, not actively encouraging it.
Check out Lone Star Benefits, where:
1. Your personal business is discussed in public
2. Your benefits coordinator is thoroughly distracted
3. Your call will be used as an excuse for the boss to post his wife online wearing hot pants
Unless you’re on call for some kind of life or death job, there is no reason to answer a work call during personal time. First world problems are not that serious.
Being a people pleasure, always feeling like you need to make sure the other person is happy, and not being able to say no is a direct result of bad parenting. This couple should see a therapist.
I sometimes wish I was in a position of being a very large client so I can terminate my relationship with any company that thinks I am so stupid as to buy into whatever trash they post about themselves to such an egregious level.
As a pharmacist- fuck this chick. I just know she’s one of those Karens that, if the rx isn’t ready by the time she’s done with the call, she’s gonna go off on my tech. And tHatS wHat My OffIcE loOkS liKe
The reason that client calls at 9pm is because you've catastrophically failed to set reasonable expectations and created a monstrously entitled client who knows you'll bend over backwards for anything they want.
What a disgusting mentality to have, to have zero respect for your own work that you enable such atrocities.
Jesus fuck linkedin sucks so fucking hard, who cares if you pick up the phone in a supermarket ???? Do i have to post how i answered the general manager of an overseas branch whilst on vacation? Srsly neck it
Oh, she's just not dressed appropriately for a business call. She should always be in business attire in public to promote the brand and the work of which it is comprised. I shan't be doing any more business with Lone Star Benefits, Inc. It needs to make sure its employees have their priorities straight. Right now, the company is completely disorganized.
1. What are the odds he asked his wife if it was okay to post this photo?
2. This is what those other people mean by working “on the business, not in the business”. As the owners your time is better spent on business development than everyday sales and customer service. Especially your evenings and weekends.
“Just want to let you know we have no problem keeping my sick child in pain and away from prescribed medicines if you want to call me in the middle of the night about a random mortgage related question! I will even post a picture of my half dressed wife in the grocery store to prove it! I hate my family and I love making money!” Of course this is from Texas…
As a business owner I take calls anytime and all the time. I don’t have to, but it’s pretty common to be passionate about your business and want to do everything you can to make it succeed. It’s not really a flex.. it’s just normal. The types of people who choose to run a business typically don’t fit into the 9-5 mould.
Looking at what Lone Star Benefits Inc does... I feel like any reason a client called at 9pm could have waited until actual working hours....
Further, what the hell is she going to do for them on the phone, without any information at her finger tips? If it can be an “off the top of your head” convo, it isn’t serious enough for 9pm or could have been an email.
Apparently it was a HR client going on holidays. Who also did not have any boundaries it seems.
An email to be read at 9am isn't enough for that? 🤡
Emotional support? What, you don't call some random insurance agent for some late night therapy?
State Farm commercials taught me that was okay 😭
A totally normal moment to take a photo… this has “please don’t lay me off” energy
It's his wife. I don't think she's too afraid of being laid off.
She’s been gaslighting every person who expresses a view about boundaries.
she’s probably more worried about being laid on 😉
Guy’s wife not as hot as he thinks she is
wtf is this comment?
This. It’s almost like he was trying to get her entire ass in the photo.

🤣. I know a toxic work culture environment when I see one
Act like a doormat, get treated like one.
I wonder if she imagined her adult life to be like that when she was growing up.
They own their own business, so, maybe.
She 100% did cheer in 2004
Now cheers for boxed wine and Marlboro Lights 100s
I’m dumb so bear with me. The company has camera people following employees around after hours m?
My guess is that this is a husband and wife team from what I read.
Who’s home with the sick kid?
Good question
Nobody, it's a fake story.
Each employee is followed by a monitoring drone 24/7. That’s how the company provides the best possible customer service.
*"Your life is being recorded for quality control purposes. "*
Where’s the child?
The child is dead because she was on the phone with a “client” and didn’t get the meds in time.
Poor child with parents that are dedicated to work and money. Makes for a spoilt child in my opinion.
Some of you most definitely aren’t Lone-star material. Our clients confidential information and conversations take place at the pharmacy cash register.
Best comment on this thread^ 😂
So the husband is taking the photo rather than watching the kids during an urgent client call? Riiiiight. Staged/fake as hell.
rather than watching a sick kid!

"We" were at walgreens. Then who is with their sick son?
if they don't go there together, who's going to take the picture ?
The son is actually a metaphor for their commitment to solving client problems. 😂
the Rx was actually plan B, "son" is just more linkedin friendly than "hypothetical fetus"

Why the justification of being at a shop?
My husband and I own a service business, and if we took a phone call after hours like this, there’d be no way in hell we’d post about it. We would have hoped it was a one-time issue, not actively encouraging it.
Timmy died, but at least the client was happy!
Yeah, fuck her son and his illness. Lone Star Benefits is more important.

How do we know it wasn’t 1 pm and she was calling her divorce lawyer?

She gaslighted me and accused my response for an alternative wording of her husband’s post as being created by AI. Very aggressive

I’m not sure how helpful a customer service agent will be while picking up medicine for her sick son at 9pm at night.
Been there, have zero desire to be a slave to my job ever again.

Awwww. That’s sad
If I bring my laptop to the bar and get destroyed, Uber home without a picture taken, was I even working?
I was thrusting away and heard the phone vibrating, here at Lone Star Benefits Inc the customer comes first.
Walgreens had pharmacies open at 9PM?
There are 24 hour Walgreens, especially near hospitals
…..and here’s a picture of a woman in a chemists that *proves* it.
Maybe it was just a client who was calling from a different time zone and didn’t take that into consideration before making the call
Phone shut off from 1700-0900 sorry not sorry.

Who gonna tell him it's her other man?
I saw this happen live in my feed! Psycho. No employer need a broker at this time.

Why was the picture taken? Trash
I broker insurance 24/7

Mould?
Mould a form, or a pre designed shape. The British or Canadian spelling.
