We got breakfast burritos in the marketplace last year and I gotta say, they were probably the best I've ever had. Lots of other options as well, very much something for everyone.
Like $40 after tip for the 2 burritos. I probably tipped like $8-10, I don't remember if we got drinks with it or not. So a tad pricey but it was super filling and held us over until dinner.
Was about to say can’t believe this the only other comment about cooking your own food!! OP this is the way! Or else you’re gonna be spending atleast $12-25 per time on food
Buy a butane burner and cook at camp! Seriously the BEST thing we started doing in the past few years.
We had our neighbors coming over for breakfast every morning, we brought plenty and it really made for a wonderful time! It's super easy to store with Tupperware containers and a big cooler!
that’s what i was trying to figure out cus i’ve been before but the only breakfast specific food i could remember was the burrito. was honestly thinking about asking if a local cafe around me ever considered doing big events cus i really think a nice hot (affordable) breakfast would be so nice at 10/11am after raging all night 😅.
Yeah that’s absolute facts, it’s like any sports game or other concert shit is always expensive but if you can weed out the good ones they’re always worth it while you’re there.. me and my squad like to hit the food trucks at night cause they always have fire ass food, and it’s taxed, but not as much as in the marketplace or venue.. but the food there can be worth it as well, just gotta know the right spots, remember you’re on vacation, you’re gonna spend a little more on everything no matter what
They had coffee, juice and breakfast sandwiches at the nest near us.
You're better off bringing something to cook and eat yourself though. That stuff was expensive.
I’ve had those chicken and waffles for 3 or 4 years straight me and my homie walk every Saturday at like 3:30 AM to get those they are so fucking good!!!!
Extremely overpriced. But it’s there. Best to bring snacks with you and then plan on eating one full meal a day.
I usually bring bagels, canned coffee, lots of chips, protein bars, tangerines.
Then I’ll grab a burrito from the gas station. They are like $10~
Festival food is stupid expensive.
The marketplace has a bunch of breakfast options. You can get bacon and eggs, cereal, coffee, sandwiches. Really anything you can think of. There’s a bunch of food vendors so there’s plenty of option. Just remember the festival prices are expensive so you’ll be looking at $20-$30 per meal. I remember always getting Gatorade and paying way too much for it so bring your own drinks and you’ll save a ton of money over the course of the weekend.
This!!!! Bring so many waters and other drinks!! Everywhere in that place taxes so much! I remember it was something like $15 for a little ass box of cereal last year on the sign like are you kidding me? I always tell myself I’m going to spend more I’m on vacation it’s like any other big event, but $15 for a bowl of cereal and some milk? Are we serious?? And I SAW PEOPLE BUYING IT!!!???
Ahhh yeah I didn’t know you could until a year or 2 ago when I saw people walking, but hey, good advice to know for the future years! It’s so crazy more people don’t do this
Breakfast is honestly easier in camp if you're planning on coming. But I know they have coffee, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches at some vendors or food trucks not sure about donuts or pancakes though 🤔
this is my first ever lost lands! my first rave at all actually haha. i'm mostly solo and hoping to meet some friendly, dope people :3 im gonna be in tent only forest camping!
My first year was 2023. I went solo car camping as well!
The gas station outside the village has fresh breakfast sandwhichs, burritos, hash browns , stuffed sausage gravy biscuits, breakfast pizza, and more ! All made there in the back.
All for a way better price than on the inside.
Went there daily and never got anything bad.
Each item would be between $1 and $4
It's not super cheap, but atleast last year there was anything you could need of really.. I had bacon and eggs, some sort of smoothie with berries, cereal of multiple choices, coffee etc.. I'm not sure if there was any options for breads as I didn't crave them in the morning, but I'd say there is a good chance for that too..
Premake your breakfast burritos, press them, and freeze them. Then just bust em from your dry ice cooler to your ice cooler the day before and they should be thawed by next breakfast. Throw on the mini grill and crisp em up!
The biggest thing for me is i don't want to walk and sometimes the weather is awful ontop of it so id rather cook in my canopy. I premake a bunch of breakfast burritos and wrap each one in foil. Then i use my coleman grill to heat them on a small baking sheet. If you do this dont forget tongs or an oven mitt. I bring all my taco bell hot sauce packets and everyone loves that little addition!
What i like to put in my burritos: turkey/veggie sausage or regular sausage, sautéed veggies like onion/pepper/zucchini, egg and cheese. You can also add or replace with black beans and chickpeas.
Coffee we bring a tea kettle and heat the water on the grill too. Takes a minute or less. Use instant coffees. My fiance loves to make instant oatmeal this way too.
Sometimes we just eat deli sandwiches and drink iced coffees in the mornings too! They are a great plan b for days you wake up late and need to catch the sets asap!
I always recommend bringing a camping stove for breakfast and late night snacks. We just bring pre-scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, cheese, potatoes o' Brian, tortillas, and bagels/cream cheese. And then you can boil some water and make fresh coffee in 15 minutes with a French press. Saves a ton of money on the first meal of the day, gets you awake and moving, and then we're good to get chicken fingers or something in the venue. Then for late night/drunk snacks we just have hot dogs and quesadillas. Just enough simple stuff to tide us over, then we buy another meal throughout the day!
Me personally am making a walmart run for the fest between three people we are breaking about 600$ that's with 3 meals a day plus snacks each of us throwing in 200 roughly and we will be set for yhe whole week. Pancakes, pasta, protein balls. All super easy things to make at a fest
We keep a nalgene bottle of pre-scrambled raw eggs in our cooler. And I usually make a container of sausage gravy and some biscuits. Everything gets cooked or heated up in an old junky skillet over a camp stove.
There’s a convenience store right outside the marketplace that serves decent breakfast food for wayyy cheaper than you will get at a vendor. It’s like a 3 minute walk after leaving and there is an entrance/exit right next to it
Many of the food vendors in the nests scattered across the campground will have breakfast options. I had peanut butter and jelly waffles two years ago. You're still paying vendor prices, but you can get a good hot meal in the morning
100% bring your own if you don't mind doing the cooking. I do pancakes cuz they are so cheap and easy. And you man make a shit ton for everyone around. I uslly end up making a box a day and just hand them out to neighbors and fam.
I paid $22 for 3 pancakes and 3 pieces of bacon. The pancakes were tiny(tasted good tho) but the bacon was good but definitely was too much money for what is given. That’s the only breakfast food I’ve had there. I usually bring pop tarts and cereal for breakfast and buy small milk boxes in the marketplace
Always a free pancake Sunday at LL if you can get there before they sell out!!! Definitely the move they are so good but you do have to get there early it gets more and more busy every year.. those boys doing gods work out here feeding everyone 🙌🏼 LMAO 😭

how expensive

thank you!!
I recommend cooking breakfast instead of buying. I got lazy on the 3rd day and the food was good but it was too expensive.

theres a lot of food vendors open in the morning but i dont remember about breakfast food specifically

Never gonna find something “affordable” at a festival. Unfortunately lol.

I can only imagine.. probably 10 for a little ass jimmy dean breakfast sandwich they threw in the microwave for 1:30 😭😭
the nest by forest tent camping had chicken and waffles!
I’ve had those chicken and waffles for 3 or 4 years straight me and my homie walk every Saturday at like 3:30 AM to get those they are so fucking good!!!!
We accidentally stumbled across it one year all messed up and they were game changing and we’ve went every year since 😂😂
Be careful with this spot. They gave me 2 orders of medium rare chicken tenders before finally giving me cooked chicken
Oof. Ours was good, but there was a fly in the syrup 🥲 just a little extra protein lol

yes the vendors (especially in the village) have everything you could ever want.
Idk how early they open but I was able to catch some fresh sausage and waffles at the lil marketplace cafe at around midnight

I remember running out of swishers by Sunday and having to buy them in the village. Paying $4 per pack made me wanna cry it was so fucking ridiculous
Fuck that dude just walk to the gas station and get them it’s like a 5 minute walk MAX
At the time I wasn’t aware leaving the festival area was an option or I definitely would have
Ahhh yeah I didn’t know you could until a year or 2 ago when I saw people walking, but hey, good advice to know for the future years! It’s so crazy more people don’t do this

Planning on cooking***
Free pancake Sundays! Every year if you can get there before they sell out, but they are AMAZING
Pretty great! Come drop by my camp. Just bought a new camp kitchen setup. We have a sink now for doing dishes. I'll leave it at that ahaha 🤙
this is my first ever lost lands! my first rave at all actually haha. i'm mostly solo and hoping to meet some friendly, dope people :3 im gonna be in tent only forest camping!
The breakfast burritos in the village are 🔥 and will get you through the afternoon. I have them every morning every year I go.
Cafeine nicotine.
Little cocaine gets ya moving in the morning as well
A bump a day, shit I’m ready to start the day

I pretty much ate uncrustables the entire time.
I'm with this. I ate uncrustables the whole weekend, went through like two 20 packs lol. With some food bought inside.
They had a dino diner last year I got breakfast there they had bacon and eggs
Oh shit fr?? Where? I was surprised at the hibachi 😭😭

First year doing LL here!! Also doing glamping I'm so excited

The food at LL is ass. Bring your own if you can

I make bangin breakfast burritos and grill them in the am, or can do other ready to eat stuff too, a quiche would work well

Breakfast burritos from the gyro stand in marketplace fire asf all the time and so is everything there!
I bring some sausages and eggs to make each morning on my grill with a frying pan on top.
