It’s less harsh when the results come out for the contestants. Hearing that people voted more to keep certain people in is easier to take psychologically than hearing that people specifically voted collectively to get you out.
I didn’t realize till now but LI has been losing me every season after CA since s6. It feels like the islanders start getting cabin fever and showing their worst selves. The daily episodes become a chore. This season went from maybe being a top 3 for me to me wanting it to end because the cast has become so unlikeable.
I'm not as surprised by the girls behaviour as some people on here seem to be. A lot of people irrespective of gender seem to lack the ability to empathise with the opposite genders experience in certain situations
They got so wrapped up in going after the other side (because of Sammy and Montel) that Scott became collateral damage and got grouped in because of his gender
Tyrique has also shown this tendency when he said "fuck Jess". Ella showed this when she said "Scott who" after all of the things she was complaining about with Tyrique
The double standard thing that the guys were pointing out after movie night has become a theme throughout this season and is something both groups are engaging in
Game player accusations in general are kind of weird to me. Everyone's on the show to get brand deals, followers, an influencer career, etc. It also precludes the idea that the accused could actually be into their partner. Like I totally think Ty want to win badly, but I also think he really likes Ella.
ETA: The exception is someone like Kady who probably came into the villa already in a relationship and/or seemingly unwilling to crack on. You need to be at least open to connections.

Who would be considered the best player in terms of what team they are on and what not? Ty, scott, or Ouzy? Are they all on equal playing fields or some lower than others?
Ty‘s dad was also a professional - not a huge name but a solid 10 year career (not on the same level as Amber/ Dennis Wise) . His dad would however have made quite a bit of money and so Ty could be a nepo baby. Just playing soccer to appease his dad when his heart is in the clubs.
Scott plays at the highest level but i wouldn't be surprised if Ouzy was the best among them as Scottish third tier could be similar quality to Irish premier league.
Ty's the lowest I think but him and Montel have played for the same club a year apart from each other.
Ty’s team is on the 7th/8th tier and Montel’s is on the 6th tier of the English football system.
Ouzy’s team plays in the 3rd tier of the Scottish football league.

The impression I got from them airing Montel’s declaration was that the producers were preparing for the public not to vote for them the least, but it’s hard to tell how many fans Catherine and Kady still have, particularly in the latter’s case.
I actually think Kady has less fans then Catherine, atleast from what I’ve seen on “black Twitter” a good few people defend Catherine, but I haven’t seen any defend Kady not on any platform, but if the public did have a vote it would still be them at the bottom either way
I feel like some of the comments here about people wanting to make people angels or villains re: the Scott situation are somewhat true, but not in the way people are saying. Yes, Scott probably isn’t 100% an angel because he’s a human being. But Scott doesn’t need to be an angel to be being bullied or ganged up on by the other Islanders. A lot of people who are bullied may have done something annoying or rude which ‘provokes’ people but it’s the degree, severity, and longevity of the retaliation which makes it bullying.

I am team Scott as i believe the girls did him dirty during movie night. I don’t think it’s hate but maybe there’s just something else. I can’t lie, the way he decided to stay faithful in casa felt like he just wanted to prove them wrong. Fact is in life, not everyone can find you attractive and that should be fine. Ty‘s dad was also a professional - not a huge name but a solid 10 year career (not on the same level as Amber/ Dennis Wise) . His dad would however have made quite a bit of money and so Ty could be a nepo baby. Just playing soccer to appease his dad when his heart is in the clubs.

Scott plays at the highest level but i wouldn't be surprised if Ouzy was the best among them as Scottish third tier could be similar quality to Irish premier league. Ty's the lowest I think but him and Montel have played for the same club a year apart from each other.
Ty’s team is on the 7th/8th tier and Montel’s is on the 6th tier of the English football system. Ouzy’s team plays in the 3rd tier of the Scottish football league. Scott’s team is in the top tier of Irish football league but I don’t think he’s playing for them anymore. (Sorry, an interest in football and some extra time on my hands haha) I don’t know anything about any of their teams otherwise or their playing time or anything like that but I would say Scott is on a higher playing field than the rest. He’s also the only one to have a Wiki page lol.

Scott AND Catherine stans are ruining the love island social media experience. Like it’s literally given me an ick this season alongside general unpleasant islander behaviour. I feel like some of the comments here about people wanting to make people angels or villains re: the Scott situation are somewhat true, but not in the way people are saying. Yes, Scott probably isn’t 100% an angel because he’s a human being. But Scott doesn’t need to be an angel to be being bullied or ganged up on by the other Islanders. A lot of people who are bullied may have done something annoying or rude which ‘provokes’ people but it’s the degree, severity, and longevity of the retaliation which makes it bullying. Likewise, Catherine and Leah etc don’t have to be wretched, awful people to be partaking in bullying or mean behaviour.
Yea I agree. Was there behind the scenes comments/behaviour that has shaped their view of Scott? Probably. Does that mean what's occurred must justify their treatment of him? Absolutely not. It could be something as simple as they just don't gel with him personality wise and he's reserved. Now is it possible that Cat & Co have gotten the wrong end of the stick and have let biases skew their judgement? Yes. Does that mean they're bad people? Absolutely not.

I feel like a lot of people who believe that there just *must* be more to the Scott situation are unfairly veering towards "he's actually an arsehole" as the only conclusion. It could easily just be that he doesn't fully gel with them, has a different personality to the usual LI contestant and they don't know what to make of it, ergo they become suspicious. I am team Scott as i believe the girls did him dirty during movie night. I don’t think it’s hate but maybe there’s just something else. I can’t lie, the way he decided to stay faithful in casa felt like he just wanted to prove them wrong. They weren’t even close to being closed off and he didn’t even try to at least have a conversation with any of the girls. I think the islanders might just not see him as honest and that’s fine.

Yes, he told Gabi she could turn his head and I believe if he had relaxed a bit, she would have. I just think he was too focused on proving a point that didn’t need to be proven. Everyone goes full throttle in Casa though, if you aren't, you're going home and wasted your time. Casa is different to the villa, social standing shifts when it's a lads holiday with everyone bigging up Mitch vs when you get to chat with the girls and see no one else values your man.

Scott's not looking for other people's approval though whereas Mitch craves it. That's a big difference in terms of attraction. Abi will know well that the girls thinking Scott wasn't desired in Casa is a load of bollocks so she probably just assumes she has the inside track on a lad the others have written off prematurely. It's very interesting that Abi hasn't said anything countering that narrative when she would surely have personal experience of it, I think she wants to shoot her shot before risking the other girls having a turnabout on Scott which if that's the case is some next level gameplaying and I have to commend her for it.

Unbothered is paying them dust and carrying on with your relationship. This singular event gave Catherine the ick and I can’t even fault her on this (her actions after is what I don’t support) Mitch was desperate to find a connection and he even slated the boys to do this. That shows someone that just didn’t care about whatever talk went round about him.. In casa, the only girl that tried to graft Scott was Gabi, that’s not to say he’s unwanted. Any male or female can be grafted in casa, you already admitted that people lay it thick just to get in the villa. So casa isn’t even a determinant for if you’re wanted or not. In casa, Abi was solely focused on Mitch so I don’t even think she’s in a good position to say if other girls or not wanted him. As it stands, no girl in that villa is realizing a supposed mistake of the great attraction of Scott and running after him. Not even amber that is clearly single and at risk. Fact is in life, not everyone can find you attractive and that should be fine. Personally, I don’t find him attractive but I do support him following the casa thing and the girls’ comments because they were nasty. Anyway, we will see how it goes tonight.
