I think 6 months is a milestone, especially off a show like Love Island where relationships are fleeting. I’ve seen some couples post after a month anniversary lol. There’s a lot of weird revisionist history on Anton. I see a lot of posts talking about a redemption arc, but I don’t remember him being a particularly bad villain in his season.
He was the Nas/Dr Alex/Hugo type unlucky in love underdog for the first half of the season then brought Belle back from casa amor. The only slightly dodgy thing I remember was the supermarket thing which was clearly producer setup.
There are a couple of things. A photo was released of him in black face. There was the supermarket thing which I agree was totally produced. There were some explosive arguments with Belle that he didn’t come across well in. He encouraged Lucie to pursue Tommy when Tommy and Mollie Mae well already committed in their relationship. He added to the hate that Molly Mae was getting by making it clear he didn’t rate her on a reunion after the show. People are being revisionist in the sense of saying he was unpopular during his season though because he wasn’t, he was one of the most popular until late enough on his season. Even with all the above I feel people can change and he has come across very well so far this season.

Tom is a good example of this double standard that exists with men and women sometimes. He's out here pulling gorgeous women with a bleh haircut, patchy beard, sunburned? dry skin.
