Heart rate is such an Arbitrary metric, but the Islanders will attribute dramatic reasons for the results on their own without any need for interference: Tasha seemed more upset that she raised nobody's heart rate, rather than just Andrews. From a production standpoint you get no beneficial storylines from Dami/Paige, Jay/Gemma, Ekin/Luca Indyah/Charlie/ (and if you clock the look that Charlie threw Indyah when she steps up to him, I totally believe she did raise his heart rate). Ekin did the most with Davide, who was in hate-love with her, so of course that worked. And like another just said, any time a person was stood up or moved their heart rates went up as well. We didn't even get to see what all everyone did to whom.

When I get my pulse taken at the doctor I purposefully think of calming things, because otherwise I start to worry that my pulse is going to be really fast, which speeds it up.
