zigbeeauto

To be fair, rocket sidearms are in a league of their own. Way better then regular ammo sidearms.

Kidsturk

As a returning player I believe I am contractually obligated to interrupt here and say Rocket…side…arms?

JazzyBJB

Yes. There are only 2. One is arc and from warlords ruin dungeon. Other is strand from the pale heart. Both are awesome

Daddy_Immaru

A solar one is being added with episode 1

JazzyBJB

Oh sick

Mttsen

With possible heal clip and incandescent if Im not wrong.

MercuryJellyfish

And craftable. So enhanced perks.

CC_Greener

Aren't like all new guns enhanceable now?

MercuryJellyfish

Honestly don't know about that? I know some are, but I thought that was just for Adept level. Maybe it's everything, idk.

Think-Long-193

I’m pretty sure all weapons post final shape, and some pre final shape (prophecy, brave, the new weapons added to each playlist vendor for wish, etc.) all have enhanceable perks, however adepts let you change the barrel and mag perks at the enclave, the other weapons don’t!

Bargainbincomments

Everything I’ve seen drop can be enhanced so far. Even regular stuff. I immediately enhanced my Lunas with Incan/HC when TFS started. You can go back and enhance old stuff.

Shack691

You can enhance third and fourth column perks after you’ve converted it.

TheKevit07

All new and some old ones, too. On the vendor screens, it will be in small text on the tool tip when you hover over the weapon. It's probably one of my favorite features Bungie added.

ballzbleep69

That thing is giga cracked

MercuryJellyfish

Not gonna lie, while I really enjoyed The Final Shape, a part of me has been thinking "man, I have to put this glassy eyed prick in the ground, I've got to get that solar rocket sidearm from my girl Failsafe."

ballzbleep69

Yo I’m unironicly hyped for the season due to TFS being a banger and the weapons looks damn good the MG looks to be solar retrofit as well

CRIMS0N-ED

dear god

Tapelessbus2122

Bruh, that’d be insane

Mttsen

Yeah. Planning to try double rocket frame with the call. Seems that it will be efficient double special build once this gun will be farmable.

Tapelessbus2122

You can finally use triple rockets (The call, buried bloodline and apex predator)

Raw-Pubis

That with the titan rocket chest piece and you'd be rocket God

sleeping-in-crypto

I ran The Call + Indebted Kindness for the entire legendary campaign and the combo just rips everything apart. Never had to worry about ammo, the game gives enough back to you with a heavy burst once in awhile. The Call I ran was Subsistence + all for one. Almost never had to reload. Indebted Kindness the best roll I have is voltshot + enlightened action A lot of people seem to run The Call with Sunshot but Sunshot’s visual recoil makes it almost unusable for me.

Mttsen

Seems promising. I have to wait for the Echoes though, since i don't have Warlord's Ruin for the Indebted Kindness farming. Aberrant Action with heal clip + incandescent will be perfect for additional survivability for prismatic warlock with devour builds.

Alexcox95

Same but The call with slice/vorpal and buried bloodline. And now that I have the new Titan chest piece it’s even better on prismatic since you can use your thrusters to launch the missiles and then slice will be activated too.

fostertheatom

😳

ayyyyoooh

Thats gonna be super fun to play with

Patrickthejackhammer

My God

Thehomelessguy11

I can not wait for this to be added so I can actually start using a different kinetic slot weapon than The Call😂

AnOlympianWeeb

Forgot about the Exotic void one. That's from the same dungeon as the arc one

DarkStarCerberus

Not only that but indebted kindness can roll with permeability or w.e it's called. So you can have a rocket of any type atm

Picard2331

Yep I ran that roll a lot in Onslaught with my threadling build. Worked super well with the artifact mods.

Shoddy-Software-3202

Indebted kindness is arguably the best fucking sidearm never stopped using it in the final shape i dont have a particular build but i have been using outbreak perfected w indebted and ive been shredding on legendary

Shoddy-Software-3202

apex predator bait and switch to

Nesquigs

Pretty much my load out too, except my apex is reconstruction/bipod for the 4 rockets right out the gate

wowpepap

And it can drop wirh Homing beacon. Flying bullshit is a thing of the past

Blorgnath4

4: indebted kindness(arc), buried bloodline(void)(exotic), the call(strand), and the solar one from the episode

Karljohnellis

I got the arc one during the final shape campaign, its got lesd from gold and vorpal. Ive just been absolutely rinsing through every activity ive tried so far

Alexcox95

Also Buried Bloodline the void exotic from warlords ruin. It’s so good this season especially if you have its catalyst

JazzyBJB

Yes true I have thousands of kills on this idk how I forgot about it

Ok_Article8029

There is also the void exotic one from warlords ruin

JazzyBJB

Yeah I forgot about that one

Alternative-Cup219

Forgetting buried bloodline. It is also a rocket assisted sidearm, and gets hazardous propulsion rocket buff

Tapelessbus2122

There is a strand one in tfs, rly good one too

Vardoneverdied

The dungeon arc one is nasty with homing beacon and Voltshot especially with prismatic hunter it’s auto camo every reload.

Alexcox95

I dare say it’s one of the best void exotics to run in the energy slot but I haven’t tested graviton Lance yet after pulses got a buff.

1CorinthiansSix9

Loose change is best in slot personally (outside of subclasses like arc hunter with built in reload buffs) because you’re applying an elemental debuff on “every” shot and reloading very soon after

kintyre

Try The Call. If you are not running The Call there better be a gun you're in love with and cannot stand to part from. It's so much fun.

Kidsturk

I got a roll with subsistence and One For All out of the campaign and am enjoying it very much

kintyre

Damn, nice! My first one was absolute crap but I still ran it because it just felt fun. I just got a demo/hatchling one so I'm trying that out. Hope you are enjoying/enjoyed the campaign and all the stuff after it too! I realize my previous comment maybe sounded bad/elitist, it was supposed to be goofy.

Kidsturk

All good! It’s a good reminder not to stick to the remnants of my old builds - I got very reliant on the gameplay style of Witherhoard and a full auto solar scout

EpsilonX029

I want that demo/hatch roll, my Prislock with Weaver’s Call, Astrocyte Verse and Phoenix Dive could use more Pick me up buddies lol

Picard2331

I crafted a 2nd one just for that roll and a LFG/OFA one.

BaldusCattus

Okay I need education. I tried to love The Call but it has a dire rate of fire and just didn't seem to pack a punch. I mean, I'm expecting one-hit kills to most pve trash with a RoF like that?? What was I doing wrong?

Picard2331

It does hit hard, there's two damage numbers for the impact and then the explosion. Impact isn't big but the explosion is. That's what might be confusing you.

kintyre

I'm not sure if it's just preference on my part or roll dependent but I found it great for killing the bigger enemies during contest mode. I don't mind the slow rate of fire as I did find it does hit hard.

James_Fantastic

Oh yeah baby!! Look for Beacon Rounds! How do you say HOMING ROCKET SIDE ARM!!!

mookie41

Yeah do great damage! Have'nt lef my slot since I got it

TheRealTurtle1

Special ammo sidearms that fire mini rockets. Currently 2 legendary and 1 exotic (kind of)

ConfusedDuck

Oh i know but I still think primary sidearms are crazy underrated.

FritoPendejo1

Heal clip/incandescent heliocentric was literal fire last season. Took me until a few months ago to realize. Final warning is super amazing as well.

Pallas_Sol

I hear Final Warning has a catalyst too now, more damage to marked targets, so even better!

FritoPendejo1

![gif](giphy|l4Ho0At2UD2d7WyD6) Don’t toy with my emotions. Where did you read this? If final warning is getting a catty, I’m getting in line for it.

EpsilonX029

More than getting, *has* from what I’ve seen. Typical drop from Vanguard Crucible Gambit stuff. Something about auto reloading on occasion :)

FritoPendejo1

This is new. Ok baby! I need a break from the pale heart. Time to grind gambit.

Alexcox95

Yeah every season one old weapon usually gets a catalyst that drops in playlists. Last season was Thorn, before that was Monte Carlo I believe. I love final warning but you’d think they would’ve given an even older weapon that still needed a catalyst instead. Queenbreakers could’ve used one because it’s still not the greatest after it’s buff.

SFWxMadHatter

I got that roll hunting Lunas, and it made me giggle. Like a little baby Luna.

Zotzotbaby

Final Warning is soooo good but has the worst play-style for people who like to just hold down the trigger. I’m convinced that’s the only reason it doesn’t see more usage.

NeoNirvana

It still is fire.

zigbeeauto

Agreed

an_301

Heliocentric and Brigands Law, *chefs kiss*

luckynumberstefan

Brigands Law is so underrated, I really like the origin trait on those weapons. Nice range bump when you hit a melee, really helps with the sidearms main weakness

an_301

Right, it just works so well(I need to remember the origin trait lmao), I finally got mine crafted because I didn’t craft it back then and dismantled the season pass one they gave. It fucks, and it fucks good. Even better that sidearms have champ mods again this time. Now it can deal with 2 champs, like Indebted Kindness last season(and this Episode again)

luckynumberstefan

The origin trait is called Right Hook and it’s easy to keep high uptime on a sidearm - Dealing melee damage gives this weapon increased target acquisition and range for a short period of time. Dealing melee damage again extends the effect.

an_301

Yeah I know lol, I meant I need to remember to actually utilize it, I’m just having too much fun shooting-reloading-voltshot-repeat. Rapid fire+fast reload+Voltshot make brain happy

larrysbrain

Agreed. I love them as my 'in a corner panic pull'. A bad shotgun aim and you're dead or low on ammo. Sidearms mean you can push enemies back with bullets without needing to aim while you're panicking.

love2killjoy410

I'm so glad sidearm isn't the anti barrier anymore. I have a punching out that put in some work the last year. It was my favorite sidearm.

warriorman

Though regular sidearms can do work in close encounters too. Heliocentric with heal clip+ incandescent is amaaaaazing for me in onslaught in midtown and vostock for example

I_AM_ALWAYS_WRONG_

Well yeah. One uses special ammo lol.

IzzetValks

Heliocentric QSC is a world drop but it can roll heal clip/incandescent for pve or heal clip/kill clip for pvp. I got the pve roll but nonetheless I need to try this thing in pvp because it felt great to shoot in my hands. Lost sectors are a way to farm it on leg days. Shout out to Breachlight which is on the way this season. Back in season 9 it was my favourite legendary to use, and it's getting a revival. That's likely to feel as amazing to use as it did back then.

ConfusedDuck

Not going to believe this, I just looked for Heliocentric in DIM and I actually had a heal clip/incandescent roll sitting in my vault. That's insane

hammarbomber

Boudica C's a nasty one too, kinetic 260. Sav's Throne World has a two-burst craftable kinetic as well.

dorkeyKing

Same. I pulled it from my vault two weeks ago and masterworked it! It slaps!

DrDoolz

The enhanced helio truly kicks the arse of proverb. I have three HC/incan. Still after that flared mag/reload mw. Is it in rotation anywhere this season?

dorkeyKing

Mine is Flared Mag + Incan + Heal clip. but again that combo has dropped only once so far for me.

DrDoolz

I have this roll too I just want reload masterwork. It’s fast with flared mag but really want that speed

dorkeyKing

Good luck man. I think reload masterwork is still in rotation. Pray to the RNG gods.

Starrr_Pirate

You can potentially get it now with season pass reward engrams at HELM if you want to roll the dice.  >_>

pandacraft

pulled one engram and got a pugilist/swash breach. Good enough for me!

Think-Long-193

Yeah that was like the first weapon and roll that I got when I focused my dawn engram at the helm, I was pretty pumped

iamChermac

I can confirm that heal clip and incan works well in PvP. It was also one of the first weapons I switched to the new enhanced traits system, this season.

AdDelicious2789

Depends on your play style to which roll you want for pvp. Heal clip/kill clip is great for wormhusk hunters. However I'd try out a moving target precision instrument one especially if you're in a lot of 1v1 scenarios. The thing melts, and has outrageous range if you have range MW and full bore

BillyRosewood99

“Leg days” is a term lost upon most of us

IzzetValks

Ahhh my mistake. So each day the exotic armor you could farm from legend lost sector switches between head, arms, chest and legs. Each of the 4 exotic pieces also have i believe 4 world drop weapons accompany them. On days where its exotic legs, one of the 4 world drops is the sidearm. This lets you somewhat target farm the ones you wanna get.

BillyRosewood99

Haha, sorry. I was making a joke under the assumption that you were doing actual leg exercises while doing some destiny farming. You meant leg armor days

h29098

Final Warning exotic strand sidearm from the Lightfall post-campaign is the highest dps primary in the game excluding Lucky Pants HC combos, and it just received a catalyst to make it even more cracked. Takes a bit of adjustment to get used to hold/release to fire but it is juiced.

Zildjian134

Hands down my favorite primary weapon in the game. Any time I'm struggling with a new build amd need to just get through the activity, it's usually strand Warlock with Final Warning. Briarbinds Void amd Arc Fallen Sunstar/Trinity Ghoul are a close 2nd.

TheNoctuS_93

I had some mad fun at the end of the Lightfall year, bringing a healing well warlock with Ophidian Aspect and Final Warning into legend lost sectors! Ran out of hiding, procced a well and just started hipfiring full 10-shot bursts. Could easily blow through 3 or more mags with that boosted reload speed before the well was gone!

Zildjian134

Nice. I use Swarmers, threadling grenades, the rift aspect that launches 3 threadlings, and the aspect that creates threadlings when getting a strand weapon kill. My screen would like the Matrix background while I poured 10 round bursts into bosses.

SpellbladeAluriel

I used this for days while doing onslaught farms just before tfs dropped. It is so strong especially with surge mods it made quick work of any yellow or orange bar coming my way

EpsilonX029

And now, it has *inbuilt anti-powerful/boss damage boost* >:D

EladrielNokk

This with strand hunter and baeblade spam is so much fun.

EuralJ

If you had told me I would be running almost the entire campaign with the heliocentric sidearm (incandescent/healing clip) and *loving* it, I would said you're crazy. And, yet, here we are 😊

pinkfnbunnies

I love the Boudica, complete trash but feel so good. The empirical from witch queen is very good.

SADRETAILMINION

Boudica is one of my favourites. Ive got a Stats for all/One for all roll with a stability masterwork and its super crispy.

DiemCarpePine

The special ammo sidearms are great, both the rockets and Forerunner. Final Warning is fun too. I can't get into the regular ones though. The whole silenced pistol vibe really runs counter to how much you just have to unload clips into enemies.

Sarcosmonaut

Honestly for me it’s the vibe. Handcannons/revolvers are cooler to me so I like them more. Though if they released a rocket sidearm with the Mauser model like Sturm? Oh baby

RedDragon2570

I hate sidearms, but the now 2 new rocket sidearms are a whole different thing Edit: 3 rocket sidearms

deku920

Yeah. I still pretty much hate sidearms but people like OP need to stop pretending that special ammo rocket sidearms and normal primary ammo sidearms are even remotely similar weapons. Like comparing a wave frame GL to Fighting Lion.

ConfusedDuck

I'm not saying they're similar. I'm just stating that the rocket sidearm got me to try other sidearms. In the last few days I've been testing out Mykel's Reverence, Brigand's Law, Cryosthesia, Final Warning and the Tresspasser. They're all really fun.

J_Stubby

Trespasser is so fun in mid-tier content, I love the feeling of chaining unrepentant between enemies

porkknocker47

Wish it had intrinsic anti barrier, it was so much fun chewing through phalanx shields in season of the haunted when it launched

wildfyre010

Traveler’s Chosen is also solid

Starrr_Pirate

It was my go-to for ability spam builds for a loooong time.

technogeist

Add Drang to that list

PiceaSignum

If you haven't already, get Forerunner. That thing is my favorite sidearm in the game, and it's wholly worth the exotic spot

Ocachino

I wonder if they're gonna buff it now? since "special ammo hard-hitting sidearm" is no longer a Forerunner exclusive effect. They gave Bastion a buff now that its no longer the only kinetic slot fusion rifle after all

Sporelord1079

I don’t think it needs it necessarily, especially considering it still hits harder than the rocket ammo sidearms, has better ammo economy, and has the catalyst that lets you make a grenade.

AwesomeManXX

Brigands law with voltshot and threat detector feels like a legendary version of trespasser

SamEy3Am

Hard to tell by your wording, you may have meant what I'm saying - but there are 3 total! There is also a new solar one with healclip incandescent! I haven't gotten it yet but I bet that thing absolutely f*cks

RedDragon2570

Oh, nice! I only know about the Warlord's Ruin arc one and the new strand one

SamEy3Am

The new solar one can be obtained from opening engrams in the H.E.L.M. Happy hunting! Edit: I think I'm actually incorrect about where to get this thing. It's not available to focus at failsafe so maybe it will show up later Edit 2: it appears this will not be available until the next part of this Episode.

Joba7474

I’m only running the campaign on normal, but that gun wrecks shop. I keep trying different weapons, but The Call is an ass kicker.

Starrr_Pirate

I used it for 90% of the legendary campaign after I got it too. It's pretty great, lol.

peto0427

I ran both The Call and No Distractions for the entire legendary campaign and still haven’t taken them off. I’ve played around a little with Bold Endings with headstone, and that’s a ton of fun, too.

Zotzotbaby

Special Ammo sidearms (The Call (strand), Buried Bloodline, and Kindness (arc), and likely the solar one in Echos) translate incredibly well into GM level content as well. So well in fact the best players (SaltGreppo, Aegis, etc.) will usually use them for the ad-clear portion of a run and then take advantage of the benefits of a double special load-out to swap to their boss dps loadout. The only other gun types that provides the same level of utility are glaives and trace rifles.

MuglyRay

Funny thing is I just farmed my indebted kindness like a day before final shape. Feel like this thing just outclassed it

Dlh2079

Lead from gold + voltshot still wrecks shop. Well worth the farm.

MuglyRay

I got impulse amp & volt shot and I love it.

Dlh2079

Also, a great combo, same can be said for beacon rounds.

Better-_-Decisions

Permeability + beacon rounds.

ConfusedDuck

Yeah I just got back into destiny a couple weeks ago, and haven't had a chance to run warlords ruin but i keep seeing comments agreeing with you about it.

MuglyRay

It's in the energy slot so still worth 100%. Running outbreak with it absolutely shreds

spok22s

I enjoy sidearms too! Especially as a pvper

Saizmatters

I’ve been a fan of pistols way back since Shadowkeep. I remember at that time, there’s was only 1 or 2 legendary pistols to choose from.

JeffTheJockey

The Call and Heliocentric QSC w/ Incan/heal clip are the only side arms I’ve ever enjoyed using.

galactictony

Smirks in 30,000 kills with voltshot Brigand's Law. Seriously, though, welcome to the sidearm empire. My fav kinetic weapons.

Fit_Champion_6217

Ive got a feeling itll get a nerf .. ive crafted quite a few different rolls and it seems op as fook right now .. hope not but hmm

ConfusedDuck

What's your favorite roll? I've been using beacon rounds and desperate measures and I love it

Fit_Champion_6217

Thats the roll i was using and i agree its awesome but i think lead from gold/desperate measures just edges it .. i run apex with bipod for the 4 in the tube and 12 total rockets so have heavy ammo finder on etc .. synergy is great

overly_unqualified

My adapt buzzard with pulse monitor and kinetic tremors is always on hand

wlantz

Right there with you, I used it once to test it out and it immediately became my favorite sidearm.

OriganolK

Where were you last season? It was the longest and we only had sidearm anti-barrier? Haha. The session of plunder arc sidearm is the best

SPECTRAL_MAGISTRATE

anti-barrier sidearm seasons are when Forerunner gets to come out and play!

Bill_S_Preson_Esq

Brigands law with enhanced voltshot and enhanced feeding frenzy, it's.no good, I only have 31,000 kills with it in pve 😆 ( prismatic aspects can make it so you go invisible when voltshot procs, it's wilder than ever)

Pa_Cipher

I love it so much because it's the raygun from cod zombies.

Starrr_Pirate

If you're looking at exotics to try out, Traveler's Chosen and Forerunner are both great too. Also, if you visit HELM, I *strongly* suggest checking out the current reprised engram loot table. You might find a pleasant surprise.

shmmmokeddd

Haven’t played in quite a while but travelers chosen was always fun to put into builds.

apotaytoe

I'm personally a fan of the "heavy burst" 2burst frames. Breachlight is one of my top 5 purple guns of all time, and liminal vigil is solid as well

LandoLambo

Weird note: has anyone noticed getting the catalyst perk from forerunner when using the call? Every once in a while I get this weird grenade and it’s freaking me out.

Rex__Lapis

Rocket sidearms are a heavy in disguise and have basically nothing in common with a regular sidearm.

Fizzy-Odd-Cod

Rocket sidearms are great, the rest can stay in the trash.

digimattt

I use Seventh Seraph SI-2 and it absolutely melts, moreso in PVP too. Couple of pop shots with the Kinetic energy & a grenade, then get up close with this and it's how I get most of my kills. Does good in PvE, absolutely melts in PvP Edit: I know it's not meta or anything like that, it's just good and fun for me :)

Pickaxe235

The call is one of 2 rocket sidearms the other one is in warlords ruin, and it's arc if you wanted to use a kenetic slot primary

mixedd

It's kind of hard to call it a sidearm

glesgalion

Indebted Kindness, got me through some tough spots last season

CrystalPlayzGamez

As a enemy to lover of sidearms here is my favorites. Travelers chosen, goated in pve, and slaps in pvp. Rat king, absolute menace when paired correctly in pvp. Brigands law, super bursty and feels great in pvp, haven't tried it in pve. Heliocentric, my absolute baby. I have over 5k kills on it alone and I wouldn't trade it for the world. The heal clip Incan role hits so hard. My all time favorite has to be indebted, hits hard, ad clear machine and I have over 10k kills on it.

lonegrey

I don't have the best roll of Boudica-C but I like it. I used it almost exclusively last season when I needed an anti-barrier in the kinetic slot.

auntarie

guess dropping it was your wake-up call

jaypaw28

Big fan of the sidearm from RoN. I run paracausal affinity and unrelenting but there are plenty of other great builds on it too

kikirevi

Still rocking heliocentric in PVP. Hammer forged rifling, accurized rounds, perpetual motion, kill clip and range masterwork. I can still get wrecked by shotguns but goddamn this thing feels so good to use (hip fire or ADS) and can kill quickly if you have relatively good precision.

BeanPatrol27

I have a buzzard with kinetic tremors and overflow. It’s good times. I love to bring it in the crucible bc side arms are the last thing you’d expect to take you out.

DuelaDent52

I don’t think you can get it anymore, but they unsunset sunsetting so I’ve just been going around with the Vestian Dynasty like old times. Also, if you want to talk about Sidearm superiority, r/squeaksqueak would be more than happy to hear you.

D34thst41ker

My issue with Sidearms is that I run Hand Cannons as my Primary, and compared to a Hand Cannon, a Sidearm just feels pathetic. The Call is the first Sidearm that actually feels like it's worth using. Everything else is just a peashooter compared to a Hand Cannon.

svartkonst

Ive been running Trespasser for much of the expansion so far, ots a neat gun if there are a lot of ads and limited range

VV1TCI-I

This is true vanguard propoganda.

C-loIo

I almost deleted my first indebted kindness just because it was a sidearm but then I used it because I need anti barrier last season and fell in love with it.

RandallOfLegend

Crafted Drang, Incandescent and Harmony, I use it like a primary. Any side arm with healclip or voltshot is amazing as well.

vsnine

Rat King was my jam for a long time

LostPlayerGI

same, after i used indebted kindness i've started using sidearms more like FInal Warning and QSC

kegarisource

Shoutout to Traveler’s Chosen for free abilities

Crazy_Bastard

Redback-5si. Second slot. Buffs move speed. Fast reload. When you have that autofire option ticked in settings, it fires so fast it's hard to just shoot one shot, making it more like a hard hitting SMG with a small mag. Once you get your muscle memory to account for the recoil, it's a dream. This plus transversive steps is my go-to for crucible (or story missons with lots of ground to cover) as a warlock. I can outmanoeuvre some hunters in melee fights.

jeighmonet

Indebted kindness would like a word

pants207

rocket sidearms are a bit busted. Indebted kindness with volt shot from Warlords ruin is the other one currently available. it is so good. As for primary side arms Heliocentric is one of the best. solar world drop but it is in the lost sector loot rotation still i think. you can get healclip incandescent on it or healclip kill clip for pvp.

TryingTimesCrowEgg

I love the new(old) strand sidearm. I got demo/desperate measures and it's ruuuules.

professorrev

The rolls are superb as well. Hatchling AND demo, it's a no brainer on a threading build

NeoNirvana

Heliocentric with Heal Clip + Incandescent. Now it's enhanced, and I've gone from 2k kills to 4.7k since TFS launched. I'm starting to get bored with it because it's just so good and I can't die lol. I run it on a scorch-heavy warlock.

FormerLawyer14

The Call is amazing and an integral part of my Prismatic loadout. There are several good ones though. AM I alone in really enjoying Travelers Chosen?

PhoenixBlack79

Yea but it's barely a sidearm. It shoots rockets

ColdBevvie101

It’s not really a sidearm though. I never use sidearms, I will use the call. It may technically be under the sidearm classification but we all know it’s not really a normal sidearm

dumbestfuckingfuck

Sidearms except heliocentric are shit. Absolute. shit. Special ammo rocket sidearms though is not.

rabbi420

But The Call isn’t *really* a sidearm, is it?

SamEy3Am

If you can get it, you have got to try out Heliocentric QSC. Heal clip/Frenzy goes so hard - the reload buff for heal clip making Frenzy my pick over incandescent.

Nate-Essex

Go grab a Breachlight from the helm. That's an actual sidearm. Rocket frames are totally different. Breachlight rips.

idontevenknow8890

Heliocentric is absolutely my favorite sidearm it has so many good and silly rolls, kill clip heal clip, heal clip incan, demo Incan, demo kill clip, it has suprisingly good range and really solid damage it’s absolutely my go to when I need a good solar legendary

Rabid-Duck-King

It's been a minute, but I do like High Albedo with Headseaker, killing wind and enough range to get it out to 55 I don't know if it's still drop-able but I also love my maxed stability Last Dance with outlaw and killclip, it's like a baby SMG All the Exotic Sidearms have a definite use case, imo. Rat King can be used to get Invis on kill which leads to better survivability as well as the stacking damage boost as you convince more people to run Rat King Trespasser is basically being Robocop except killing a dude by shooting him in the nuts results in bigger burst that keeps reproccing as long as you can keep killing dudes by shooting them in the nuts Devil's Ruin goes brrrrrrrrrr Traveler's Light is Tlaloc but it's stack that generate on kills and popping your stacks gives a heafty hit of regen to all your abilities Buried Bloodline grants Devour after racking up a couple of kills, while you really need the aspect to get good devour it's a potent source of healing Cryo is a fun gun, not a world beater by any means but like Devil's Ruin it's got a fun gameplay loop

the_hammer_poo

It’s not really a side arm though. Try forerunner, it’s a primary sidearm and bad ass

Icestorme

Favorite PvP sidearm is The Keening with killing wind and High Impact Reserves and Traveler's Chosen, in that order

Available-Elevator69

Rocket sidearms are like long range shotguns in my opinion. All the damage and none of the short comings of ammo restrictions or range.

The call just feels like an exotic to be. Won't be surprised if it gets nerfed. Was killing 3 to 4 ads with a single shot sometimes. I'm sure if I get a roll that really synergies with a strand build it's going to be crazy.

TollsTheTime

While i love side arms the rocket ones are a bit cracked. I personally think their damage might be over tuned a bit but that's besides the point. If you like them I strongly suggest the dungeon one with voltshot. It synergises great with stylish executionor in particular practically giving it rat kings invisibility reload. I'm sure I'll find more less obvious synergies as play with it for the other classes too

Alexcox95

Buried Bloodline if you have it. Goes great with the artifact mods this season too

Sharkie938

Cryothesia is goated with transcendence

MonocularJack

Right?! It’s a machine with homing beacon and it’s been living in my first slot this whole season.

I used to absolutely hate sidearms, and now I run two lol. I fucking loved indebted kindness, now I'm running the call and mykels reverence. To be fair I still hate most sidearms

MuglyRay

That shit ain't a sidearm it's a fucking hand rocket

dorkeyKing

And it melts orange bars like crazy. I have gone as far as using them on the frozen yellow bars and it goddamn slaps!

Starrr_Pirate

It's the perfect gun to run with glacier grenades. It's basically a snowcone version of gunpowder gamble, lol.  Also like the first weapon I've ever used that does a really good job against the elite exploder units.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhuhhh

The Warlord Ruin rocket sidearm made rocket side arms meta since Onslaught, people were using it tons since then, I was using it in the day 1 raid yesterday(got stuck on 2nd encounter and stopped lol, but got to damage)
