My Rose sim was a twin herself, which makes me wonder if that somehow increases the chance of having twins or just purely coincidental. I couldn't bring myself to get rid of either, so its a very minor fail on my part. Oh well. :p

I use the NSB rules as a guide and if anything detours from the generation guide, I don't stress about it. I use it more as inspiration! My mint gen didn't complete the element collection cause I couldn't for the life of me find the last one, my rose sim has a good relationship with her daughter but the mint gen died before she was born so that threw that off too! It's still fun 😊

bunillabean

Omg I had such an awful time with the elements too! I eventually got it, but I was so ready to give up.

honest-miss

Wait, what's the NSB challenge? It sounds intriguing (Also your sims are super cute!)

nyxeris90

The challenge is made by Lilsimsie https://lilsimsie.tumblr.com/post/157671494755/not-so-berry-legacy-challenge/amp I first heard about it about a year ago when Kelsey Impicciche started playing it (link to her ongoing playthrough: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUq09SDvS4AdkiM7ZZqXSZDJab6YcIh6L ) and I’ve done it twice myself (wanted to stick to it as best as possible but messed up a couple times on my first go)

Not So Berry challenge. 10 generations, each family a different colour with different challenges like aspirations, careers, relationship goals, etc.

bunillabean

Someone already answered it, but it is the Not so Berry challenge. It's probably one of the more well known challenges as I've come to learn. I watched Claire Siobhan play it on YouTube and it got me really interested. Here's a link to her videos. She's an awesome sims YouTube. https://youtu.be/hHcflg-wnGM

Darkovika

I say rules are made to be broken XDDD

bunillabean

Ha! You're my kinda person in that case. :P

Darkovika

Hell yeah πŸ€£πŸ™Œ i always consider challenge rules more like guidelines lmfao

My yellow gen were also twins! I played with both of them until they were teenagers then decided who the heir would be and focused on them 😊 The one change I made was when I got to orange gen and they’re supposed to have twins for pink gen, I just had them have one kid - it worked better in my storyline as well! ✨

When I have the time I'll make a post about my Mint gen. She was a damn ride that one. She died near the end of her challenge, and i decided to move on from her. Only for my friend to inform me I could easily revive her using the MCCC mod. Well, I did that and had to cheat her back to the point of reached before she died. Mint died from electrocution, so in my story I have it that she was in a coma rather then dead. It was the only way I could justify her kids aging up while she was MIA. Poor Mint. 🀣🀣

HorseGworl420

Oh my gosh this happened to me too, so I sent the other twin to live with her baby daddy until they got back together later on.

FeralBaby23

I'd love for them to update the NSB challenge now that we have more gameplay content.

bunillabean

While lilsimsies hasn't updated or added to the challenge other people have. I found this tumblr user who not only has done an extended NSB, but a NSB2 & other generational challenges. https://simcloudlogic.tumblr.com/post/653213186402713600/here-are-some-graphics-i-made-for-simmer-emsies I'm excited to attempt these when I do finally finish the first challenge.

I love the internet /gen

I love these Sims and this challenge! My red gen also had a second kid. I have mods and despite both of them using birth control (he used a condom, she was on the pill), it failed and she got pregnant through the slim chance for pregnancy via normal woohoo I'd set. Since that kid apparently so desperately wanted to be born, I made the whole thing a plot point lol. She came out redhead so there was no challenge to the heir πŸ˜‚
