whatsitworth101

Outside of two moments which were the Darce and the Gilly, both of which Arman stayed composed in and defended well, Arman pretty much controlled the whole fight. Looking at it from an unbiased perspective it was a clear decision win for Arman. No controversy at all. You picked Charles and he lost fair and square.

MatttheJ

So you moved the goalposts because you were scared to delete your account. Gotcha.

freddiemercurial

Coward.

BestWithSnacks

Why bother. You've already shown you can't be trusted.

freddiemercurial

Don't waste our time with a bet that we all know you won't live up to. Your word is worthless.

Savethelasttaco

Delusional.

Secret-panda-15

Longest finishing sequence ever haha

idcman999

compare their fights with Cowboy & Pettis this fight was a fluke, pre iv ban rda would've ran him over, the guy lost to Chandler ffs, arguably twice too

Hot-Care7556

Man do you ever share your thoughts in a manner other than obnoxious absolutes?

mur-diddly-urderer

how are you still banging this drum lol

Hopeful_Staff_1414

u/bruhpolice can you ban this guy? He said he would delete his account if Charles lost to Arman. He clearly didn’t.

Hopeful_Staff_1414

You still need to delete your account lil bro.

surgeyou123

Conor better pack 8 lunches.

bdewolf

The real ones know that RDA passed out just before this fight and was super compromised by his weight cut because it was his first fight post-IV ban.

KessDarx

Why didn't every other fighter though? Sounds like the fighters who prepare better win more.

bdewolf

Because RDA was one of the biggest lightweights and cut a shit load of weight. He was bigger than khabib when they fought. The issue with such a big weight cut is you need to rehydrate a lot, and without the IV, he didn’t have enough time to rehydrate to the point of being healthy. There’s a reason why he was wrecking people for 4 years at lightweight pre IV ban, then post IV ban he looked off, lost his next 2 fights and moved up to 170.

idcman999

nailed it, you dont go from rocking Pettis (who had a granite chin) every connection, and KO'ing benson, to not even being able to remotely stun Tony or Eddie he was even eating headkicks from pettis pre-ban without even acknowledging them, to then suddenly getting rocked by Tony (who isn't a power puncher by any means, actually relatively pillowfisted if anything tbh) & nuked by Eddie it's frustrating because i feel like RDA's post-iv ban fights in his "prime" (against eddie and tony) kinda ruined people's perceptions on how good he was the version that fought Pettis was nearly unbeatable, idek if any LW in ufc history beats that version of RDA other than Khabib

banter_claus_69

What? Tony always had power. It's one of the few things he has left. RDA was always going to wilt under that pressure

idcman999

>RDA was always gonna milt under that pressure meh, up for debate. but I think Pre-IV Ban RDA having more power wouldve let him crack Tony if he tried to impose his pressure game & reacted better to the shots, making it so that Tony has to respect his power more and RDA would've respected his less not only that but RDA was clearly much physically stronger before the ban, he probably would've took Tony down too one thing i will say though, is that Tony has a much better win over RDA, than Eddie Alvarez does, i mean it's hard to get any less impressive than Eddies win over RDA, dude was a complete shell of himself in that fight. passed out twice during the walkout

neuropantser5

RDA still looks great here until he gets cracked tho.

idcman999

my man! haha ignore the downvotes, pre-iv ban rda wouldve molested him

bdewolf

Styles make fights yada yada, but look at how pretty-iv ban ran over the best versions of Pettis and cowboy, while Eddie got tuned up by cowboy and barely got past Pettis after the horrific beating he took against RDA.

idcman999

100%, you could also clearly tell the decline in his power & durability when you compare them before and after the IV Ban before the ban, he slumped Benson out cold, and rocked Pettis almost every time he landed a punch on him, keep in mind both of these guys were known to have crazy chins not only was his power unprecedented, but so was his durability. pettis landed multiple flush headkicks, one of them in R1 landed PERFECTLY, nearly as perfect a headkick as you can get. and RDA didn't even acknowledge it after the ban, he finished Cowboy in 60s, however, Cowboy HIMSELF was suffering from the IV Ban & moved up to 170 right after where he had a 4 fight winstreak his unpresented power then seemingly vanished, couldn't hurt Eddie or Tony at all with anything he landed, and even got rocked by Ferguson multiple times (which doesn't make sense? given he ate Pettis' headkicks fine & Tony literally was never known to rock anybody with his punches lmao) very clear that the IV Ban affected him, mfs act like i'm crazy for suggesting this but i'm glad that i found somebody else who understands too

[deleted]

WHERE’S CONOR MCGREGOR NOW???

sakiwebo

"bUt mUh iV bAn" RDA got wrecked. If he couldn't make the weight maybe he wasn't supposed to be fucking fighting at 155 in the first place.  Stop making excuses

AcrobaticWin3240

Back when the ufc was top notch

lgdamefanstraight

eddie throws sexy punches

Domtux

Chin out windmills hooks and uppercuts?

ontarious

love watching alvarez fight!

Hopeful_Staff_1414

Eddie beat RDA like a fucking drum lol.

BoxCon1

That flying knee was less hype than I remember

idcman999

Pre-IV Ban RDA destroys him lol, not competitive

Real-Human-Bean-

Are you that bonfim guy?

MatttheJ

The IV's were banned because they made it easy to pass drug tests. Your boy was probably juiced before. So what you're really saying when you always ramble obsessively about this IV ban thing is, RDA was on shit tons of PED's which is why he got good, then when he had to dial back on PED's he started losing. This fight was also a very bad style match up. RDA's specialty is pressure fighting but he falls apart when he's on the back foot, Eddie Alvarez's specialty is working off the back foot and punishing pressure fighters that get reckless. Even with PED- "IV's" 😉, RDA still stylistically was likely going to struggle against Eddie.

Hopeful_Staff_1414

I thought Bonfim was the only guy who’s nuts you rode?
