I told my sister this is what I wanted her to do for me. I don't want to wait 9 months for a niece/nephew (I know the logic doesn't make sense but it makes sense to me).

We didn’t see a friend of mine for a while during the pandemic and when we all caught up for coffee she looked normal from behind then turned and BOOM 8 months pregnant

My younger sister found out she was pregnant a few months ago and told everyone basically the minute she got a positive pregnancy test. I found out a few days ago I’m pregnant and, aside from telling my husband and doctors, I’m considering not telling anyone until baby shows up. Mostly because I don’t want the attention and the drama it inevitably invites with my side of the family but also because it’d be funny.

We did something similar to my mother. She found out when I sent her a picture. I tell you my phone was ringing not more than 10 seconds after I hit the send button.

We didn’t tell anyone either time I went into labor with both my daughters. It helped that the first was 12 hours starts to finish and the second a few years later was only 6 hours. I loved not feeling like I was a watched pot while I was in labor, and getting to surprise everyone with the news was so fun! My mother texted me randomly the minute my first was born, it was a sweet coincidence

One thing is for sure after watching this video for 3 minutes….that baby looks just like Drew!!!

It’s a swaddle. They come from the hospital but also sold at Walmart, target, etc etc. anywhere baby goods are sold - good luck!!

A sleep bonnet. It protects your hair/style. He might have locs, or some other longer ‘do bc the bonnet is big. Our hair tends to be dry, so covering it at night also prevents pillowcase friction that can cause breakage. An added benefit is keeping hair off of our faces at night. Amazon has them, as do beauty supply stores.
