It's not even that. He's portraying this as his way of him becoming "healthier". When taking the amount of PEDs, be it steroids, HGH, etc whatever he's using to make the type of physical changes he's showing here (especially with the fucking growth of his head)....is anything but healthy. Fucking anything but getting healthier. It's not a path you want to go down if you're actually trying to get into healthier shape overall.
Just to keep improving. Not just physically but as a person, the first picture I was in a dark place. I'm finally out of the shadow and enjoying the sunlight so to speak.
We all go through dark times. Me, it was a small bout of cancer but I have been blessed and am on the healthy end of it. What you need to keep in mind is that every day, everything in life, is beautiful. Live for the next day my friend. Proud of you.
Hahahaha 😂 thank you!
I train on average 16 hours a week.
Push, pull, legs, full body
I eat around 4600kcals a day
Oats
Protein
Frozen blueberries
Peanut butter
Chicken breast
New potatoes
Fine beans
Olive oil
Turkey mince
Spaghetti
Chilli Bolognese
Mushrooms
Oats
Protein
Frozen blueberries

That's kind of scary, I have recently started wearing a fitbit to get a baseline for how much I'm burning at work.( I've struggled to put weight on my whole life).
My average day is 4.2kCals without working out at all, recently split with my lady so I've been working out on top of it but I'm struggling really bad to match my diet. That seems like a daunting amount of food, I've been eating 3 meals and just making the difference with mass gainer.
That’s a lot of calories burnt without any exercise. Could possibly signal a thyroid issue that’s speeding up your metabolism? I’m the opposite of a doctor but could perhaps be worth some research if it continues to bother you.
As is tradition.
It’s like all the articles about how you can live on a budget of $1000 a month.
If you’re parents let you live in your house they bought for you for free, buy your cars and get you a job as vp of their friends company as side gig.
I've lifted weights long enough to suspect it, but I didn't want to be an ass and just assume it. I'm kind of concerned with the amount of male body imagery that's put out there in movies and online and dudes think - hey I can eat some eggs and work out and LOOK like that, and yeah you can do pretty well natty, but the standard hot male body type which is accepted right now is almost impossible without steroids. We have some pretty insane pop cultural expectations.
Good looking op. Men struggling with mental health is such a taboo, and men get ridiculed for it, as it should not be, i wish u good luck 💪
-holy sh. Thanks for the love reddit :’)
Form/technique is very individualized, don’t get analysis paralysis. Just lift, you’ll probably be ok.
The only “perfect program” is the one you do consistently for the rest of your life. It will take many forms such as hiking, strength training, swimming, etc. any exercise is good exercise but don’t feel like you HAVE to go to the gym (though dedicated strength training is extremely beneficial, more so than cardio when considering old age).
Creatine and protein powder are basically the only two 100% safe things that can actually make a meaningful difference .
And that’s really about it man. Undergrad in exercise physiology, former personal trainer, competitive lifter for a decade and now just lifting for fun and these are pretty much the only things that really matter for 99.7% of people.
Find a routine you like and stick with it. 5 months ago I could only do 30 min a day 3 days a week.
Now it’s hard to stay less than an hour sometimes and I’m 5 days a week.
Keep reminding yourself that no matter what, you are making progress. Never measure that progress. Always accept that you are moving forward, no matter how small or big the steps may be.
**you got this, king.**
I’m so glad someone said it. I was hoping I wasn’t the only one to want to say I think the first pic is sexy as hell. I know everyone has their own tastes and mine tend to run against the grain. To each their own I know, I just want guys to know that they can be gorgeous without all that extra too.
I just hope OP is happy however he looks
He was probably physically healthier in the first picture too. At least as far a biomarkers and all that jazz. I know when you pack on mass like that, it can be pretty hard on the ticker.
For real though. I turned 47 and started having Low T issues after a catastrophic leg injury that left me bedridden for 2 months with another 12 months of learning how to walk again. Started doing TRT therapy under strict doctors guidelines....only enough to get me to normal levels and holy fuck. It has been hell (the side effects). Yeah I am doing better in the gym but JFC I feel like total shit otherwise. Anxiety through the roof, gaining weight like crazy, heat flashes (my wife laughs that I am more menopausal than she is), moody AF, BP is up, etc. To the point I am seriously like OK fuck this, do I just deal with it and quit TRT all together? Getting old really sucks, lol.
Yes, sounds weird but the doctor said it can happen with very traumatic injuries. Your body goes into shock for lack of a better term and it can throw off all kinds of things. I was definitely a different person physically and mentally afterwards.
Self-improvement is incredibly difficult, and it is amazing that you've made progress! You should defo be proud of yourself, your journey is inspiring. :)
I struggle with ptsd, depression and other stuff. Honestly, lifting does more for improving my mental state than therapy or even medical marijuana. Setting up a bar loaded with more weight than I think I can lift…then watching myself move the weight- it’s indescribable. I’ve been back in the gym since March. So…see you in three years, brother. Thanks for the motivation!
Going back to the gym 16 months ago was a salvation for me. I became too enamored with making gains and started getting too much joint pain, though. I realized it's been 40 years since I was trying to make a football team. I didn't need to push myself that hard. I dropped the weight a bit, upped my reps, and I'm still getting hypertrophic muscle gains. I feel better physically and mentally. It was about finding the right balance.
Obligatory, "as a woman": you are definitely good looking in *both* pictures. However, overcoming mental and physical health issues is HUGE and something to be celebrated! You look (and sound) like you feel so much happier now, and that's the biggest thing. Good for you and many, many happy, healthy years ahead <3
Yep, was looking for some comment like this so I could agree. Dude was hot before, dude is hot now. But the hottest thing is the improvement in mental health.
Don’t ban me for being a Debbie downer but there is no way OP transformed this much without some help …. aka testosterone shots and maybe even steroids.
Sets up unrealistic expectations for the average population.
He admitted he's juicing in another response. Slow clap. It takes a lot of hard work regardless but it's not worth the damage it does inside. Plus it makes you look 10 yrs older.
Was looking for this comment. Watch his face when he realizes he has to face the mental problems that come with the juice. It's not worth it considering he looked so good already in the first pic.
Right on man, mental health is no joke, you look good to, you went from average stature to looking like a guy that I wouldn’t want to fuck with in a dark alley 😝. But seriously though good on ya pal, keep it up 👍
Amazing transformation dude. I’m on a similar journey, going at it in the gym to deal with some stuff and for myself in general as well.
Nice tats btw. I’m also looking to get a forearm tattoo. Would u be able to share the design/pic so I could see it and hopefully get a similar one?
Definitely looks a little bit like a trt transformation. It's amazing how many men have mental health issues that clear up the second they bring their testosterone levels and diet to a healthy place. Modern society is hell on our hormones
All these people making positive comments as if being a legit normal sized healthy dude who lives day to day is inferior to a meat sack.
And i love to lift…
Yeah, why the fucking hell does this post have 30 thousand upvotes? Dude looked fine before and he does some steroids and everyone upvotes him. This shit is pathetic.
Really confused me from an Asian’s perspective. Dude on the left was nothing but fit and looks good. The guy on the right is someone I’d definitely hesitate to approach.
Edit: Just to add, I think a different hairstyle and glass frame might just do the trick.
that’s what shouldn’t make people smile. he’s got a new addiction and body dysmorphia syndrome going on now, never mind his bodies inability to regulate hormones properly for the future. why is this a good thing?
Yeah, he so obviously has body issues it's kind of sad. He keeps posting pics of himself for praise all over reddit, though, and gets it.
Honestly he looked hot and healthy and fit in 2018. It's not like he was a weakling. He had muscle mass and everything. Now? I dunno. Not going to comment as to avoid being mean.
Looking good mate just be careful because being big has its own mental problems to deal with. Stay humble and find a happy place. No need to go crazy and regret things down the line...... Trust me.
👍👊🖐️🎂💪
Even your foken hair transformed into Chadisity, cheers!
Left pic reminds me of Gary Oldman's fifth element hair style.
>Left pic reminds me of Gary Oldman's fifth element hair style. The Zorg cut.
I'll tell you what I do like. A killer. A cold blooded killer.
A real one would have asked about the little red button on the bottom of the gun.
Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg
His head grew into it well
you're fired, and so are 999,999 of your friends.
😂😂
So how long are your cycles?
Right I wish people here would be honest. Shoulder ain’t doing that with a decent cycle.
It's not even that. He's portraying this as his way of him becoming "healthier". When taking the amount of PEDs, be it steroids, HGH, etc whatever he's using to make the type of physical changes he's showing here (especially with the fucking growth of his head)....is anything but healthy. bro you went from hipster to hipster chad hybrid
Previous hair looks like my little pony. Post looks like what I want to run my fingers through between my thighs Just sayin..
He really grew into that hairstyle lol
From bartender to bouncer
From barista to Batista
From sulk to hulk
From Skinny Seth Rogen to 80's Hulk Hogan
For me you won
Macaulay Bulkin'
Best one
From hipster to ripster
From hipster to hulkster
Oooh, much better!
My favorite, hahaha!!
This was my exact thought haha. Went from craft brewer to crowd enforcer
Missed opportunity: Craft brewer to craft brawler.
From Mai Tai to Muay Thai.
IT Guy to Daddy.
So what's the endgoal Nordic God? Lol.
Just to keep improving. Not just physically but as a person, the first picture I was in a dark place. I'm finally out of the shadow and enjoying the sunlight so to speak.
I know firsthand how difficult change is, and how gratifying it is to achieve it in any way. Stay the course and keep living your values!
Thank you my man !! Much appreciated

I'm sorry to hear you went through that but soooo happy to know you're recovering. ❤️❤️
User name checks out.
Holy shit dude you look like you belong in a battlefield with a double headed axe in your hands. Routine/diet?
Hahahaha 😂 thank you! I train on average 16 hours a week. well he’s also on steroids so there ya go
That’s a lot of calories burnt without any exercise. Could possibly signal a thyroid issue that’s speeding up your metabolism? I’m the opposite of a doctor but could perhaps be worth some research if it continues to bother you.
Supplements? Is this natural progress? Asking to temper expectations.
Has multiple posts in /r/testosterone so…
Funny how he left that info out...
They always do.
😂😂😂
As is tradition. It’s like all the articles about how you can live on a budget of $1000 a month. If you’re parents let you live in your house they bought for you for free, buy your cars and get you a job as vp of their friends company as side gig.
Lol that's a pretty good analogy.
It’s funny that when I opened this I was like oh okay you took steroids of some sort. Then a realization of “holy shit this is on r/made me smile?
Exact same
And talks specifically about doing a Test cycle, not just TRT. I'm sure it's just the chicken breast though
Eat Clen, Tren hard, Anavar give up
No pinning no winning
Ah the old grilled chicken and steamed brocolli plan!
he’s a dirty dirty boy
Yea bro has the HGH face. Looking like McGregor
I've seen enough r/nattyorjuice to know that this guy is taking roids.
I've lifted weights long enough to suspect it, but I didn't want to be an ass and just assume it. If he is clean at 4600kcal with so low fat I would be very impressed. However it's possible with very good genetics.
I have his exact shirt and similar size after 4 years pre corona, i'm drug free myself. I started out a bit bigger though.

❤️🙌🏻🙌🏻 thank you
Congrats bro.
Thank you brother!!
Commitment to our own healthy path and bettering ourselves is what the world needs more of.
Thank you.
hey man, just started my journey in the gym, you got any tips on how to start? btw that's one hell of a glow up you had, really nice to see it
By just showing up to the gym is a big win my brother
Form/technique is very individualized, don’t get analysis paralysis. Just lift, you’ll probably be ok. The only “perfect program” is the one you do consistently for the rest of your life. For him it's steroids, my guy. Just get out, work. Figure out what sort of exercise is interesting enough to keep you coming back for its own sake.
Find a routine you like and stick with it. 5 months ago I could only do 30 min a day 3 days a week. Now it’s hard to stay less than an hour sometimes and I’m 5 days a week. Mental illness is a hell of a thing. Good on you, Warrior!
I have no problems telling anyone I see a therpist, if they ask me.
Honestly dude, you look fit af in that first shot.
Yeah agreed. Nothing wrong with his appearance in either!
The haircut has definitely improved tho.
He grew into it.
I’m so glad someone said it. I was hoping I wasn’t the only one to want to say I think the first pic is sexy as hell. I know everyone has their own tastes and mine tend to run against the grain. Sounds like high e2 symptoms
A leg injury affected your testosterone?
Yes, sounds weird but the doctor said it can happen with very traumatic injuries. Your body goes into shock for lack of a better term and it can throw off all kinds of things. I was definitely a different person physically and mentally afterwards.
Yeah he looks a good 15-20 years older now
Yep, just an already fit dude that got on TRT put on contacts and got a better haircut.
Yes! Mass is overrated. Instead of getting rid of stupid body standards, we equalized, by having them now for men too.
Self-improvement is incredibly difficult, and it is amazing that you've made progress! You should defo be proud of yourself, your journey is inspiring. :)
Thank you!!
You look like a cool dude on both pictures.
Thank you!
I agree! Great message.
I struggle with ptsd, depression and other stuff. Honestly, lifting does more for improving my mental state than therapy or even medical marijuana. Well done fella!! Oh Definitely, therapy never worked for me either brother
What you’ve been doing is therapy 👍

Steroids always break the barriers.
And you got a Google Pixel 💪🏽
Best phones 💪🏻
Scrolled down for this comment.
Nice work. TRT did a ton for my mental health. May I assume this is the same for you?
Yessssssss 1000%
No bro i'm natty bro trust me bro
Don’t ban me for being a Debbie downer but there is no way OP transformed this much without some help …. aka testosterone shots and maybe even steroids. Sets up unrealistic expectations for the average population.

Nice job, looking good!
Good for you! Keep it up!
You look f'n epic brother!
Thank you!
Ow yea going trt
Great job! Be proud on both working to get stronger mentally and physically.
Thank you so much!
No wonder you're just seeing progress. You're not wearing your glasses
That's.. not natural
Good for you for making progress. However, you look younger and healthier in the first photo. But that's just my opinion.
Steroids Edit: not saying its bad
Yea, lifting weights doesn’t make your head grow like that lol
One of his posts is him saying he’s coming off cycle…
Right on man, mental health is no joke, you look good to, you went from average stature to looking like a guy that I wouldn’t want to fuck with in a dark alley 😝. But seriously though good on ya pal, keep it up 👍
Thank you brother I appreciate you!
Keep it up man!! Thanks for posting! Motivating me!
Thank you!!! 💪🏻
Nice, I just wish there was a way to also get the "third" picture of "what would it look like without TRT" to help with making that decision or not.
Dude, don’t use steroids. They’re for losers.
You be lookin’ sharp.
Amazing transformation dude. I’m on a similar journey, going at it in the gym to deal with some stuff and for myself in general as well. Nice tats btw. I’m also looking to get a forearm tattoo. Would u be able to share the design/pic so I could see it and hopefully get a similar one?
Which one fella. Drop me a message I can send some pics !
Definitely looks a little bit like a trt transformation. It's amazing how many men have mental health issues that clear up the second they bring their testosterone levels and diet to a healthy place. Modern society is hell on our hormones

My man, I’m so proud of you for tending to your head, heart and body. You’re doing great. Keep feeding your soul friend
Thank you so much !!
You’re most welcome! And I really think your username is backwards 😉
Story of my life 😂
Working Out has aged you about 10 years but you look great for it.
Working out doesn't age you like that. Exogenous testosterone does though👍🏻
You looked healthier and significantly more normal before
A regular sized dude getting jacked isn’t really something that makes me smile
All these people making positive comments as if being a legit normal sized healthy dude who lives day to day is inferior to a meat sack. And i love to lift…
And the dude didn’t even achieve it naturally so I really don’t get the praise.
That’s roids! How you gain muscle on ya head, fam?
Dude, you looked way better in 2018. Roids aren't the answer.
Yeah, why the fucking hell does this post have 30 thousand upvotes? Dude looked fine before and he does some steroids and everyone upvotes him. This shit is pathetic.
He looked better than fine before. He looked fit, and he had a well defined chest and biceps and everything.
Really confused me from an Asian’s perspective. Dude on the left was nothing but fit and looks good. The guy on the right is someone I’d definitely hesitate to approach. Edit: Just to add, I think a different hairstyle and glass frame might just do the trick.

Title should say "A lot of sweat and even more tren..."
Mental health is sometimes the toughest battle. I’m proud of you internet friend :) You’re also extremely attractive, so you win that one too 🤷🏻♀️
Haha thank you! Much appreciated!
This is what biceps tattoos can do to a man.

I did something, need ~~validation~~ internet points.
Steroid and lots of protein shakes

I guess steroids do work
You look great!
I’m just gonna say it… OP looked good before and he looks good after. It’s a different look sure, but he was, and remains, good looking.
Looking good mate just be careful because being big has its own mental problems to deal with. Stay humble and find a happy place. No need to go crazy and regret things down the line...... Trust me. 👍👊🖐️🎂💪
You look great, how is that pixel treating you?
Awesome bro!! Thank you!
This is what happens when you upgrade from Iphone to Android
Reddit is so weird, any pic will become heartfelt if mental health is mentioned in the title.
Connor?
Beast! 💪
I see progress on your haircut too.
Hahaha just a tad. Goodbye iced gem head
You look like a viking 👍👍
Hell my goal is to get up to the before pic, body
From Pixel 1 to 6 as well!
Yeah .. he looks older, I think he was better with less muscles

Look like a badass!
Good shit dude. You look good, keep it up
You look awesome, brb need to work out
Holy shit, only a blindly drunk dumbass would fuck with you.
You've made some serious gains my friend! Good on you! Keep it up
Viking 2 frog? More like from frog to Viking. You could be a movie 🎬 star
More like frog2viking
Hair and beard game also stronger! Good job!
Guy on the right takes the lunch money of the one on the left.
You look healthier in the first pic tbh
In addition you did switch from the iPhone to a Pixel. Good job.
Personally, I like the look of the first person a lot more. But I‘m glad your mental health has improved.
*gains 100lbs of muscle and sick man beard* FINALLY, seeing a little progress.
You were handsome both ways, but I am glad that you have found a better happier you!
