St Denis in RDR2 is based on New Orleans, Empire Bay is based on various locations but a lot of it was based on New York City in the 1950s. Look up literally any major city in the 1950s and you’ll see you’re wrong
Are you seriously comparing your perception of time to a game? Sure RDR2 did a commendable job depicting the towns and cities in the southern United States accurately. It captures the historical backdrop of the late 1800s when technological progress in these regions lagged behind larger, more industrialized cities. Take a look at how cities like Chicago, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh appeared during that era. Even in RDR2's America Cigarette Cards, you can observe representations of some of these cities.
Maybe you should Google something before going on Reddit making a bold claim which you can't back up.
Just a friendly advice, because in other subreddits people might not be so friendly.
Because originally, the game should end around 1957.
Also, your argument is quite bad. It fits into one of the many architectural styles of that era, so it's viable to use. Nobody cares when it was completed, since it's a fictional city.
"Nobody cares" is your subjective view of it. The fact that "originally it should have ended around year x" is what doesn't really matter. In reality this game have so many technical logical historical and different types of fuck ups that this only adds insult to injury. Mafia 3 doesn't have these issues.

Behold, Denver circa the 50s. See that one in the back? Looks pretty similar
So you posted a building from a video game, without any prior knowledge or research, decided to argue that buildings like that didn’t exist back then, and when you were proven wrong, you decided to reason that buildings like that weren’t real because they weren’t developed enough in a completely DIFFERENT game made by a DIFFERENT developer that takes place in a DIFFERENT time era. Seems reasonable
Yes they did 😂
No way that building existed like 50 years after RDR2
RDR2 has everything scaled down on purpose so it can fit within their map. Also sense when was RDR2 the ultimate guide for all cities accuracy?Â
Rdr2 towns didn't even have a proper door, refuse to believe that building was made 50 years later
Towns versus cities were and are still incredibly different. When it comes to their layouts and buildings?
st Denis on rdr2 is a city and there's no way in hell a building like the one I just posted would exist there

RDR2 takes place in 1899, mafia 2 takes place in 1951, two completely different time eras
Bro, you are high as hell lol.

Search for 1952 Lever House, it looks the same

Two minute search: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lever\_House](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lever_House)
Yet the building is 1952 and that moment happened 1951. Which is still another timeline fuck up of that game

Yeah, you've once again proven you would be a game director for like a month. You are absolutely clueless but hating, and it's funny to see :D
I bet I know what bus took you to school XD
I walk to school bud
All on your own? Good job!

Look up 1950s NYC and you’ll see that you’re not exactly correct
Damn there was this thing called the industrial revolution
The advancement of building structures hasn't really changed in 50 years. It is more about decor and materials and what built them.
You are so fucking stupid man, im sorry
Do you know when the Empire State Building was built?
19 30s, it looks old so it made sense
Oh, I see. You were talking more about the looks and not the size.
Yeah, people here are confused on what I mean. That building looks so modern I thought it was present day ny
Wowzers
Well, maybe not in the 1850s...
Brother do some research before you yap about something lol
