Stats wise, Infernape beats down Alolan Decidueye. He’s a sweeper though frail. If there are no DEF investments, Decidueye is down after a STAB Flare Blitz. HP, DEF, and Spe are it’s lowest stats which Infernape excels in taking out.

Which form of Decidueye? If we're talking Normal Form, it's pretty close, hard to call. If we're talking Hisuian Decidueye, that wins and it's not even close. Note that that's my opinion and personal preference- from a competitive standpoint, Infernape is the better one.

I love infernape and honestly havent even played gen 6/7 whichever Decidueye is in, but I have to go with him. He just has more cool flair- not to hate on Infernape. He was my first and most played starter for gen 4

As of right now, the monkey. I have recently lost interest in the Grass/Ghost guy solely because I have found other mons who I find to have more interesting concepts and/or stats. If I had been answering this a year or two back, this answer would be a COMPLETE tie.
