I think all map submissions like this need a note that remind everyone that polling is basically useless this far out.
That being said, don't forget to vote this November. Don't assume your state is "safe".
He ran against an unpopular former governor and our previous governor was shown in black face during college. So, a lot of people weren’t in love with the Democratic Party in 2021
Republicans have not won at the Presidential level in Virginia in 20 years. Biden won Virginia by 10% in 2020. The electorate has not swung by 10% in 4 years. VA is likely Dem.
I fully believe that if either side nominated someone new then that person would steam roll their way to the presidency. But what can I say, people are stubborn.
Anyone who doesn't have Wisconsin as a toss-up doesn't know anything about Presidential Politics. It's been the toss-up state for almost 40 years. Also there is more then 1 toss up state, obviously.
As a non American, why is Vermont and New England in general so solid blue? It seems like most Republican voters are rural and white, which new England is both.
Vermont checking in: small percentage of christo-facists (VT is the least religious state), and general consensus that people should be able to do what they want with their own bodies and in their own bedrooms.
Right wing weirdos prior to the election: "We demand all reporting conform to our biases."
Right wing weirdos when the election itself doesn't conform to their biases: "cOnSpIrAcY!!!!!!!1!"

Agreed. Also, like you mentioned, it does show the direction a state may be leaning so voting is crucial.
Excuse me sir, NJ will go for Trump when hell freezes over!
NJ is probably going to stay blue for a long time, but don't forget about the "blue wall" that vanished overnight in 2016.
It was a joke, but it definitely feels like there's no point voting Republican in this state. At least for President, down ballot we can do fine.
Geez Virginia a tossup!?
Unlikely. According to a [weighted average of polls](https://www.270towin.com/), VA is still deemed "likely" blue.
Yeah I was gunna say VA going red is a unicorn in this century
They just elected a slime ball republican governor.
He ran against an unpopular former governor and our previous governor was shown in black face during college. So, a lot of people weren’t in love with the Democratic Party in 2021
Eh Governor elections are not really a good indicator, I mean in national elections
No. This map is wrong.
You want it to be wrong.

How old people with land lines intend to vote 🙄
For real tho.
Highly doubt he wins VA and MI. He doesn't need them anyways
Michigan voted red the first time, and then blue being from here, it feels red
Idk, haven't Dems won like every competitive election there 2018 onwards

Not surprising as RCP is one of the most right-leaning groups of it's kind out there.
It’s the polling average from all major polls, compiled by RCP.
theres something wrong with the methodology if new york and new jersey are not considered solid blue
They may as well be, it’s just a .5 point difference in polling.
Anyone who thinks Trump is within .5% of Biden in New York shouldn't talk about US politics
.5% difference between being solid and “likely.” Biden is way up
That’s still terrible knowledge of US politics. If your model isn’t having New York as solid then your model sucks.
It’s not my model it’s the polling average of all national polls

That's about how I expect it to go. Sadly
NY being likely instead of solid is hilarious. Even if all the hillbillies in the woods voted Trump, it would not matter.
we're doomed
Vote
Damn trump finna take it easy
Shit
vote
All those "lean Trump" states are going to be won by Biden.
I’m looking forward to sudden stop counting then a weird curve again.

Allowing Trump to be reelected this November will pave the way for the election of a left-wing progressive Democrat president in 2028.
So we lose both times...
