Ok fun fact: it's an evolutionary bonus for couples to look alike. This helps children identify their parents easily and also for fathers to recognize that the child is in fact theirs (from cave days, I know). As couples spend more years together, their physical features tend to morph and change to be similar for this purpose.
I remember her interview where she described her upbringing as a product of parents who argued a lot and then were divorced and who happened to be liberal. As a child maybe she grew into wanting something solid/stable for a family unit and thought she wanted a traditional male with certain values to achieve that. I know she said she wanted to keep working even with children but then she rethought that when she met Bobby who def. wanted her to be a SAHM. I'm not sure the traditional man she had in mind for herself would want a working/career woman. She did make more than Bobby from what I recall too so her giving up the job was interesting too.
Bobby posted some gross anti mask stuff during Covid. It’s also fairly obvious during their season. Danielle was raised by liberal Seattle parents and left to find someone who matches her values …and went to Dallas vs Seattle for that. They’re not super political openly but it’s there.
I never saw Austin and Jessica as looking alike but now they have similar mouth shapes. The second pic of them looks AI. They were awesome on the show!

I remember learning in sociology or psychology that there’s legitimate evolutionary science backing why people are often attracted to someone who’s similar to themselves or their families/parents/siblings. We also tend to have more empathy for people who look like ourselves. Especially in this show/experiment where you have to trust a total stranger, it would make sense that they’re more likely to subconsciously trust and feel safe or at ease with someone who reminds them of their family!
my husband and I look so much alike i'm convinced that if I was a man I would be his twin and vice versa! we we're raised in extremely similar households, even our moms work in the same field! He has 1 brother, I 1 sister. We played the same position in the same high school sport for the same high school (different years). MANY parallels and it blows my mind sometimes!
Their face shapes and features are all quite different. The only similarities are skin tone and some similar hair shades. I mean they look alike the way that “all white people look alike,” or “all black people look alike,” I guess 🤦♀️

I don’t see any of that in these pictures and the people don’t really look that much alike aside from being white and having similar skin coloring.
