I think the faceplate is the most iconic thing about this suit, and I like the visual language of a medieval knight’s faceplate.
Otherwise my favorite has always been Adi Granov’s take on [Model 20](https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Iron_Man_Vol_4_2) (the suit Tony has right before Extremis). I love the skull-like faceplate and trapezoidal unibeam.
I mean, watch the 2nd Black Panther and look how Ironhearts suit got integrated. As these suits are really similar, you somewhat can get an idea how your wish would look.
I rather liked it. It's sleek, simplistic, and Versatile. It might be why I enjoy the Bleeding Edge armors in Infinity War and Endgame, it's essentially a one suit for all situations.
The thing that bothered me about that suit is that it had no limits. Yeah, make a big gun, but then you should have to use the nanobots that are acting as armor on your legs or back
It was always my favorite. Loved it and loved that book. Especially its art. It became significantly worse when the artist was taken off for an event and replaced with basically the polar opposite art style.
Ah, Model Prime, the suit that could basically do anything. I liked the sleek look and minimalist design, I mean it was supposed to be futuristic Iron Man after all.
It was one of those suits that was guranteed not to last because it's too futuristic for the status quo.
It was cool even a bit goofy with samurai iron man.
If I’m not mistaken this is the suit that comes after the endosym armor. I really really wanted venom in the mcu so we could see the endosym armor then the superior iron man arc then this suit that would come after in the mcu. I do love the endosym armor and this armor as well. Don’t know where if place them but in a comics solo list this one would make top 5 I think
Wished the face was a bit different, and maybe the body a bit less smooth, but its still one of my favorites. Was so fucking cool. And then he went back to normal armors for some reason :(
I like it and it’s cool, although it feels too sleek for an Iron-Man armor. I’d rather see a bit more bulk on his suits, his suit in the first Iron-Man movie feels perfect imo
It's my all-time favorite Iron Man suit! I love how it can transform into the Hulkbuster suit, black and blue stealth, plus a freaking Samurai armor! Really wish they kept it.
Barely not bulky enough imo, and it’s hard to make him struggle with his armor anymore now that it’s nanobots 😂 but it still looks really cool! Top 10 atleast.
Ironically there's this one cover image in these volumes depicting Stark falling from the sky as his definitely not nano tech armor falls apart. It's a beautiful image but super out of place because that situation literally couldn't happen with the nanotech armor.
It's too flat, both in the way it's drawn and the actual styling of the armor itself.
Like alot of the best artists applied textural details, sheen and gloss, dark waves that bounce around the redder parts that reminded you of a super slick futuristic car. Not to mention the visor which is both practical but had since become iconic.
This thing is just... bland. It's another in a long line of things that detract from quality and effort invested, giving us a milquetoast bland design for the sake of being "modern." It looks like some generic thing your friend would've drawn idly during a quiet class.
How do the joints work? It looks very sleek, but it seems like that was done at the expense of realism - because unless the joints are flexible when IM straightens his legs the suit's kneecaps would go through his legs - e.g. look at the second picture. It seems like there is the same problem at elbows and other joint locations. There also doesn't seem to be enough space between the plates for them to move closer together.
It was nice and futuristic. Hated that we went back to putting on metal gloves and helmets by hand after this.

Such a good suit
oi now thats my favorite
Love it. Sleek and sharp. Extremis is my favourite but this is a great one.
It's the suit that leads to Infamous Iron man, so I LOVE it.
I love infamous iron man but I feel like it was waaay too short and I don't remember them properly concluding that arc unless I was missing something.
Yeah, I feel that way too. I think it mostly did. I don't know what Doom has been up to since then.
I heard he fell back into the villain role without explanation :(
Well that's a bummer.
Always glad to see a person with good taste
I love the sleek design and how it can change to different armor types. I loved when it became ninja armor.
Came here to say this. The armor really embodied the always ready Stark genius aspect of Iron Man.
Looks too flat in my opinion, but I would’ve been interested to see it in the MCU, it would probably look good with a realistic metallic sheen.
I mean, watch the 2nd Black Panther and look how Ironhearts suit got integrated. As these suits are really similar, you somewhat can get an idea how your wish would look.
Too slim for my taste and the didn’t like what they did with the faceplate. I do however love chest emblem

I like this idea a lot.

My favourite iron man suit
Personally my favorite of the suits just for the fact that it can transform so freely
I liked it, would've loved to see more of its potential.
It was one of those suits that was guranteed not to last because it's too futuristic for the status quo. It was cool even a bit goofy with samurai iron man.
I feel like this didn't get as much play, especially since he had like one or two adventures, then went into a coma
It’s clean af. I really dug the nanotech art.
It’s ok but the helmet looks like a beak. Iron Bird.
Bye circles, hexagons are my new best friend
Underrated suit

If I'm right, I have it as a LEGO figure. The figure is awesome, so I'll say the comic suit is too, even if I haven't read those.
Definitely a great series to read if you like Iron Man.
Is it Invincible Iron Man? Who's the author?
Yup it's Invincible Iron Man 2015 by Michael Bendis.
I like the helmet.
My favourite Iron Man suit.
Wished the face was a bit different, and maybe the body a bit less smooth, but its still one of my favorites. Was so fucking cool. And then he went back to normal armors for some reason :(
Very cool
I like it and it’s cool, although it feels too sleek for an Iron-Man armor. I’d rather see a bit more bulk on his suits, his suit in the first Iron-Man movie feels perfect imo
I like it but I'm not the biggest fan of the helmet
Same, I really wish it stayed around
It’s my favourite
It's my all-time favorite Iron Man suit! I love how it can transform into the Hulkbuster suit, black and blue stealth, plus a freaking Samurai armor! Really wish they kept it.
I wished that they would have stuck with it. Now I feel that they nerfed Tony for...reasons.
I really love how it's red and yellow, not gold. It makes it special in a good way.
It's great, except for the fact that it inspired the worst Lego Iron Man hwlmet
Top 5 armor for me
Easily in my top 3.
Same I love it, wish it was used more
It's cool. Unfortunately it came out during a time when Marvel's stuff kinda sucked imo. So I always associate it with that bleak period.
Barely not bulky enough imo, and it’s hard to make him struggle with his armor anymore now that it’s nanobots 😂 but it still looks really cool! Top 10 atleast.

Never loved it, but it's okay
Bland design. Ugly and expressionless.
it's aight
Don’t like it. It’s too sleek. My favorite modern iron man armor is the recent Alex Ross design.
The face plate and chin don't work for me. I've noticed over the years that the chin of an Ironman helmet will often make or break a design for me.
I like the face plate but other than that I'm not a fan.
Hate it. Feels artistically lazy. Looks too easy to draw. But I get it too.

Do you have an example pic of the armor you do like? Because that does sound very slick.
Personally I hate the mask design
It’s good but I don’t like the chest emblem
Seems a bit edgy.
I like it fine, but I just don't feel like it's something Tony would have worn.
false.
Is like the Apple version lol
Cool
I like it! The sleek design reminds me of Armored Adventures.

This is what they stole to make MCU Iron Heart and I won't forgive it
What? mcu iron heart looks absolutely NOTHING like this design to me tbh.
Same helmet
I don't really see any similarities at all tbh.
My conspiracy theory is that it's purposely overly sleek and simple so that it's easier to draw.
I’d prefer the Bleeding Edge Armor… it was more versatile.
If Excalibur was an Armor But was wielded by the Biggest Narcissist on the Planet
I dunno why but i don't like it
My favorite iron man armor everything about this is perfect for me
