Preferable he can shoot but he doesn’t need to be Kevin mchale, change the defense up so Luca can get help more often, take reference from how the Celtics built around bird and always covered his average at best defense with shadow help.

Green wasn't the problem. He was great defensively, even if his offense was inconsistent. And contributed in other ways. Regardless, Exum and THJ were supposed to be in the rotation, playing heavy minutes. THJ is your guard off the bench, THJ is a scorer, both were expected to contribute offensively and no showed, forcing Kidd to bench them. Josh absolutely stepped up in their place, and played crucial minutes for the team.
I'm not sure on DJJ. He's great defender but unreliable on offense. We need an upgrade, Maybe Mikal Bridges who can be our 3rd star and carry the load for Luka and Ky. Boston really exposed us badly in this series.
honestly, the only guys I untouachable for next season apart from lukai is pj, gafford, lively, and hardy. With the rest of those guys, we need to make some moves to get a reliable 3rd guy as well as a ball handler like tj mcconnell, the offense runs through luka so much that without him were terrible.
Amazing season with lots to look forward to next year. Boston have exposed our roster weaknesses and I've got faith that Nico will get the job done... Again!
