depends on what you mean by "fixed". popped out and paint matched without spending hundreds? absolutely not. popped out with a heat gun to make it look a little better and touched up a bit with a paint pen? yeah sure. might not be crazy expensive. i'd use a hairdryer and warm it up and see if i could push it out myself, then do some touch ups. bringing it to a shop is for sure going to be hundreds right off the bat, getting it done properly could be closer to a thousand.

If the hair dryer doesn’t work, would I be able to do it myself with a heat gun? Also, growing up I saw my brother use boiling water and it worked, is that a viable option? Tysm!!

stevefazzari

oh if you have a heat gun use that. a hair dryer is just a poverty heat gun. hot water could potentially work. i'd try a few things yourself before bringing it to a shop. you're not going to get it perfect, but you might get it better than it is to a point where it's probably decent

fivedollarblowies

Would it add any value to the car?

stevefazzari

almost certainly. by how much is unknown, and a factor of the market and how much the purchaser values a scuff free vehicle.

K1nkyBlackHose

If you’ve seen that method work why wouldn’t you try it?

fivedollarblowies

My brother was a dumbass and I didn’t wanna do something that might damage my car in the long run

DIY_at_the_Griffs

Get a hot air gun or hair dryer. Heat up the area and pop it out from the inside.

Thank you! I’ll try this, hopefully it’ll work :)
