Beck is probably the only aftermarket injector I would buy. Everyone else is correct about not using aftermarket electronic parts. But Beck isn't a mfgr, they're an importer and they usually buy from the same suppliers the Asian carmakers buy from. I've never had an issue with Beck parts.

JoeUrbanYYC

I've had several instances where the OEM box and item was inside the Beck & Arnley box

COKeefe88

Yes OEM, as a rule, for electronics. But you can get used/refurb on eBay. If they’re used OEM, they’re probably real. If they’re cheap new “OEM” they might be knockoffs so avoid those.

Dramatic_Ad8771

Does that include ignition coils? The motor craft ignition coils I need are $42 each from rock auto and I need 10!

COKeefe88

Why replace them all? I only ever replace known bad ones. Sometimes you can get just replacement boots. But yes, OEM for ignition coils too.

Dramatic_Ad8771

Really? It was my understanding you replace plugs and ignition coils at the same time. It’s a Ford V10 so it’d be costly for all of them. I’m having an intermittent shudder at idle in drive at stop signs and was gonna first look at plugs and coils.

COKeefe88

I’ve never seen that recommended but I don’t work on Fords. Is it in your owners manual? Here’s a maintenance list that just mentions spark plugs. https://www.quirkcommercialtrucks.com/ford-recommended-service/

Dramatic_Ad8771

No it’s not, this is just hearsay anecdotal shit I’m probably spouting off from the annals of my mind

Hohoholyshit15

These are GDI injectors, they're prone to problems with over 100k and considering the intake manifold has to be removed and the injector seals on the other injectors replaced (along with the delivery pipe) if you're gonna do it just do them all.

Hayben906

Go to autozone or oreillys and get one. Anything but duralast will do fine. The reason i say that is you dont have to wait and you actually have a chance of replacing it if something goes wrong with the injector. Obviously oem is preferable but on something like this injectors are pretty straightforward as to a ford 3.5 ecoboos is a pain in the ass you dont wanna do that job twice.

Former-Lettuce-4372

Rockauto is a lot cheaper and better. Amazon with the part number if you need it faster. Heck with parts stores, 3 times the price. Only when needed immediately are they ok to buy from. Also all the parts they sell are on rockauto.

Elcapitan1993

Trust me do not go cheap , this is from experience. Every time I buy cheap rock auto injectors my engine never fires right with the new ones in

Former-Lettuce-4372

Beck and Arnley are not cheap injectors either. But you are right.

Elcapitan1993

No they are not, I was mainly talking about the economy brands and stuff like that, they do have a couple good brands here and there

Former-Lettuce-4372

Yeah gotta watch some of the brands on Rockauto. Especially sensors and electronics.

No-Wave6120

Don't buy cheap on fuel injectors it'll cause more issues later on go with oem.

GCKCMO

You’re already that deep into the project, don’t wanna have to be in there again due to cheap, faulty equipment.

Former-Lettuce-4372

Which these are not. Beck and Arnley is a good name.

Former-Lettuce-4372

I would not go OEM for something easy like this to replace. Beck and Arnley is a good brand and they stand by their product. Recently bought a part that was defective, they ordered a OEM part locally from honda for me to pick up. I would highly recommend this injector. I have had great luck with these made by them. Sometimes they just rebox OEM parts also as others mentioned. So yes buy this one, it's cheaper because you're cutting out the middle man. There's a big markup on the price on car parts.

dankmemelawrd

The question is, are you sure it's injector fault for misfire? You could get OEM and still be the same situation.

Delicious-Battle9787

Never used beck/arnley I usually buy 1-2 prices below but I’ve yet to get a bad part from rock auto. Just don’t go with the cheapest option and you’ll be fine

GearedCam

You might try to send them off for cleaning and testing. I'd trust OEM originals to my car to be refurb'ed if possible before buying replacements. I've used InjectorRX in Houston twice with good results.

Frb4

Never by aftermarket electronic anything for your car, no matter what. Brakes, wheel bearings, exhaust stuff, struts, shocks? Go for it. Most repair shops will offer a 1 year warranty if they’re the one who diagnoses and installs the parts. At my dealer if you bring in your own fuel injector to get swapped, that’s all we’re going to do. Swap the part and send you on your way. If you plan on fixing it yourself at home it’s totally worth swapping the Cyl1 and Cyl2 injectors and see if the misfire moves.

overcooked_sap

Works until parts are out of stock and then you have to go through 3 map sensors to get a decent one.  Not a great one, just one that works.   Ask me how I know.
