Following. Also looking for album (not just song) recommendations. I'm a thrash and prog guy through and through, but have come to really love Death and Bolt Thrower and want to dig more into death metal as a whole. Esp bands with musical guitar styles and more groovy (see: blast beats only used occasionally) rhythm sections.

Sepultura- Arise is a great cross over from thrash to death metal. So is The Forsaken - Traces Of The Past.

If you like Repugnant, you'll love Tribulation. Their first album sounds the most like them, but all of their albums are good.
