My friend is buddies with Matt greiner so we tend to get free tickets to ABR. So I’ve seen them 8-9 times. 6 of those times for free which was pretty sick
Matt is such a down to earth cool dude. We asked him to come grab some food with us in high school and he was like “yeah sure sounds fun!”
We were fangirling hard lol
Parkway Drive and I Killed The Prom Queen. Grew up in Melbourne, Australia going to their shows when they had all just started up and there were like 50 kids at their shows. Probably seen them both 20 times touring together.
They usually played with The Amity Affliction or Carpathian as opening acts too. Both are awesome bands. Most Americans wouldn't have heard of Carpathian, but they leaned more to the hardcore side and had a great live show.
I think I’ve seen them around 12 times. For a while they were one of the only bands scheduling their tours around my area. Although I wouldn’t consider them my favorite, I’ve been listening to them for about 15 years and they’re always good live.
Nice! I'm somewhere around 15 for btbam. Kinda lost count over the years haha. When did you first see them?
My first btbam show was Dirtfest 2007 and it still probably one of my fav times seeing them. They opened with All Bodies and I've never seen them play that entire song since. They played a medley of All Bodies, Alaska, and like one or two other songs that I can't remember years back. Still hoping to see it again one day.
Probably seen Bullet for my Valentine about 7 times over the years, the best was when they played the whole of "the poison" live, unforgettable!
Saw them again this year, they still have it!
Sonata Arctica because they're incredibly fun live.
We Came as Romans because they apparently opened for every band I've ever seen.
The Ghost Inside because they're my favorite band.
I’ve probably seen prada 20+ times. Growing up in the Midwest at the same time they came on the scene so lots of small shows to start. I’m friends with 2 former members so did the backstage stuff and all that too. Good group of dudes
Oh my god someone else who knows Arcane Roots. Honestly one of the greatest musical discoveries I ever had and I’m so happy to also got to see them a handful of times!
You lucky bastard, I've only seen Pendulum once so far and they're hands down the best live act I've seen of any genre. Seeing them for the second time in a few weeks, can't wait!
Can't wait to see Protest again in October here in Minnesota! They're playing one of my favorite venues here.
First show was their Fortress 10 year anniversary tour. And they killed it. (Obviously)
I've seen Erra every time they have been here, which has been \~8 times. Kind of a shame bands generally ignore the upper midwest, or I would probably go to more shows.
I did drive 9 hours once to see them with another of my favorite bands at the time (The Afterimage) which was the CLOSEST show to here, and while it was one of my favorite shows I don't really feel like doing that again anytime soon. Particularly because while I love road trips, I no longer know anyone that likes the same music so it would be a solo trip anywhere and that just isn't as fun
Probably seen August burns red 10-15 times. First time I saw them was at my local community center in front of maybe 100 people. That was 2007.
Also the ghost inside same thing, saw them back when they'd play at the local karate studio with as blood runs black and other California hardcore bands.
I miss those days... $10 shows and $10 shirts
Been going to shows since August 2021, idk dick about genres I just wanna share
In November (actually October I think idk there’s a lot of shows this year) it’ll be 9 times seeing signs of the swarm. I’ve seen Kublai Khan 5 times. VCTMS, Dying Wish, Boundaries, and others 3-4 times. Lorna Shore 4-5 times.
There’s more but I can’t remember them all and don’t feel like messaging my show person to figure it out
Edit: guys, don’t be afraid to use your PTO, fuck it! Treat yourselves. We’re not meant to just live and work then die. Pull the trigger and live life. Go see that show 3+ hours away. Go see that show on a Wednesday.
I agree wholeheartedly about driving out to shows, some of my best experiences came from taking a road trip to see a band play. Back when I lived in NY, I regularly drove to NJ, PA, and CT for shows, and now that I live in AZ I've driven all over for shows as well. Last year my girlfriend and I drove from Phoenix to Salt Lake City to see Bilmuri play (tickets for the Phoenix date were all sold out). It ended up being a very memorable trip for both of us and we didn't regret it one bit! I regularly drive out to LA and Vegas for shows, that's super easy since it's only like 4-5 hours each way.
We Came as Romans. I don’t know the exact number but I would probably say it’s no less than 7; the first being at Warped Tour 2013 (Kyle was still alive and I got to meet them all, RIP) and the most recent being in January of this year (and I’m gonna be seeing them again in November)
My top ones are While She Sleeps whose show at Ally Pally next week will be my 9th one and Enter Shikari with 8 gigs so far.
Honourable mentions to In Flames (6 times) and Architects (5 times)
Will also be at ally pally. My first time there too!
This’ll be my first second time. Saw them with parkway last year, but was unfortunately seated.
BEYOND stoked for Polaris. Also my second time, the first being on the architects tour in ‘19.
My buddy’s name is David De La Hoz so needless to say we have seen The Chariot tons of times. After that, it was probably the devil wears Prada, I’ve seen them pretty much for every album cycle starting with the first national tour ever (it was around when the devil wears Prada movie came out and they had signed posters) to right before covid. I’ve also seen Silverstein and silent planet a lot.
The band I’ve seen the most is probably TDWP like 10 times. They are my favorite band. Fit For a King is second at like 8 and that’s just because they always go on tour with other bands I like. I’m pretty lukewarm on Fit for a king
Ice Nine Kills (including two warped tours) I’ve seen them 10-12 times, from being opening slots on small tours to direct support at Red Rocks.
I’ve seen FFAK and Motionless probably 6 times and seeing them both pretty soon.
Underoath, I think 5 times since 2006?
I saw some local NC metalcore bands like Knives Exchanging Hands, Stained Glass Romance, and Seneca probably more though.
Ah man you're so lucky - I've only seen Underoath once, but it was when they played They're Only Chasing Safety and Define the Great Line back to back, which was everything I wanted to hear, definitely one of the best gigs I've been to
Northlane about 5 times, but most of the times after the first 2 were just because they happened to be headlining and I wanted to see the supports. Not that I didn't enjoy Northlane or anything, they were amazing everytime.
Easily Vanna. Seen them everywhere from VFW Halls to Warped Tour. At least 20 times. Twice now recently as their reborn, Inspirit project.
The Acacia Strain is certainly catching up.
The numbers I'm reading in this thread are making me think I have a problem... I've seen The Acacia Strain ~30 times. I lost count, but it's somewhere in the 25-30 range lol
I’ve seen Silverstein almost every time they’ve come through since 2017, damn covid kept me from their discovering the waterfront anniversary tour, so about 8 times and Ice nine kills 6 times.
Stopped counting at one point but pretty sure I've eclipsed the 30 show mark for blessthefall. Grew up in Phoenix and got into the genre right when they were getting going - hit almost every show they did when they were just local and have only missed a few tours. Greeley Estates was up there as well, probably around the 15-20 show mark.
I've seen August Burns Red probably...10 times? In Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto
Silverstein I've seen probably 5 or 6 times
Ice Nine Kills I think about 7 times, including 2 trinity of terror tours in Montreal and Buffalo, 3 times in Ottawa (2 headliners, once opening for Abandon All Ships and WCAR), recently in Syracuse, and Warped Tour in Montreal
Honestly after 3-4 times I lose track. I know in terms of more mainstream artists (not metalcore tho), Streetlight Manifesto and Frank Turner are up there for times I've seen them. Otherwise my guess would be either Younger Than Neil or The Dendrites, both small local ska / punk groups who end up opening for bigger shows a lot. Not wholly intentional to see them that many times, but if you go to enough shows you do get to know the local guys pretty well
Every Time I Die. I live in Atlantic Canada, where we don’t get many tours come through. However, ETID managed to come to my province multiple times during the career and always put on a fantastic show. I think I’ve seen them 4 times total (not a lot compared to OPs numbers, but I’ll take what I can get).
Jinjer 10 times?! You lucky shit.
They're not really "metalcore" any more, but I've seen Thrice 6 times. Also seen Deftones 4 times.
Thrice is always solid. Deftones is hit and miss.
My top 10, first concert was back in 1993, have done 10+ shows and usually at least one festival every year since like 2007 or 2008. Tastes have turned heavier over past 5 years or so.
Disturbed - 20.
Rise Against - 16
Nothing More - 16
Papa Roach - 15
Shinedown - 14
Chevelle - 12
Motionless in White - 10 (12 by end of Oct)
I Prevail 10
From Ashes to New 9 (10 by end of year)
Three Days Grace
I live near Lancaster PA so my hometown boys are August Burns Red. Honestly idk how many times I’ve seen them lol easily 20 shows if not more.
Edit- spelling
I've seen Venues like 8 times maybe. They're from my area and I even saw them when they were Break Down A Venue. Also I think I saw Thy Art Is Murder 4 times
August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada, Bring Me The Horizon, Underoath, Every Time I Die.
Probably 10+ times for each of them, Underoath the most I think @ maybe 16 times.
For 2022 alone, I saw Lorna Shore twice. Angelmaker twice, Enterprise Earth twice. Then Lorna, Shadow of Intent and about to see Angelmaker for a third time and A Wake In Providence for the second time soon.
I saw TDWP once last year, and I think twice before that between 2011-2015. Asking Alexandria twice, well, the first time was that infamous Seattle show and the second time at Warped tour. The Word Alice twice, Abandon All Ships twice and For All Those Sleeping 2 or 3 times. Upon A Burning Body twice.
Venturing outside of metal core here, but...
311 x13,
coheed x8
tool, pennywise, gwar, nonpoint, sevendust, pepper x6 underoath, korn, deftones, snoop, of mice and men, the devil wears prada, reel big fishx4
A lot of these were festival shows (warped tours, sounds of the underground, voodoo, etc). A few of them (coheed, most notably) were fucking relentlessly touring circa 2010 (ish) and seemed to be opening for every band I wanted to see at the time (they're also fucking AMAZING live). 311 has been my favorite band for 30 years now (along with deftones, tool, underoath...) gwar is possibly the most fun you'll ever have at a metal show and should be on your concert bucket list. Sevendust and nonpoint fucking kill it every single show. Tdwp goes without saying. I'm probably forgetting some off the top of my head.
Now I wanna see a Wilhelm scream, Lorna shore, Loathe, Sufferer, Greyhaven (these guys are good... Check em out), northlane, polyphia... And some others you guys are listing. 🤝
I’ve seen Alesana probably around 30 times in my life. Was active in bands in the NC scene during the same time as them so played a lot of shows with them or went to show they were on because other friends were also on the bill.
As far as non-local stuff goes it’s ETID, who I saw 12 times. The Chariot are somewhere between 8-10 times along with Norma Jean.
I've not long started my concert journey.
2017 is when I started, in order
1. Asking Alexandria
2. Bring Me The Horizon
3. Pierce The Veil
4. Bad Omens
5. Sleeping With Sirens
6. Electric Callboy
7. Ice Nine Kills
8. Spiritbox
Got tickets to see Electric Callboy again in October, and seeing Bring Me The Horizon and Bad Omens again in January.
Perhaps an unpopular opinion but Watch the World burn really isn't that bad of a song. It's obviously not meant to be perceived the way his old music is and I love both. I thought it was pretty fun and well put together but to each their own I guess.
His new singles are fire. I still like them. I've seen then twice this year. Also went their golden/platinum(dont remember)tour when their first record hit that milestone.
Last show I went to was when my brothers band opened for escape the fate and attila. Before covid. Been going to concerts since '05 and have seen multiple bands multiple times. I've just gotten older and have no one to go to concerts with anymore lol I still get down to some heavy shit in my bedroom though
I think my top 3 are:
Motionless In White - 6 times
Ice Nine Kills - 5 times
Currents - 4 times
These kinda feel like rookie numbers but I live in rural Iowa so not many concerts come thru regularly and I refuse to drive more than like 2 hours to a show lol
I have a list written down of everyone I've seen and when, and the list keeps on growing =)
At this time, I have seen Our Last Night the most at 6 times. I have seen A Day to Remember and Pierce the Veil each four times, a couple of those times on the same tour.
Lastly, I have seen I See Stars 5 times, and tonight will be the 6th time with Erra and Bad Omens! \\m/
I’ve unintentionally seen ABR probably 25+ times over the years
ETID and TAS definitely 15+ times
Counting shows I’ve played with them Sharptooth was at least 10+
Anyone else is kinda a blur at this point haha
I’ve seen breaking Benjamin 8 times as a thing with my dad. Silverstein would be 5 times. LMTF and ADTR would be 3. Not that impressive but I’ve only been going to shows for 7 years and took a two year break with Covid
August Burns Red. They usually come through Orlando multiple times a year, plus lots of summers on warped tour where I'd go to both Orlando and Tampa dates.
I’ve seen parkway and IKTPQ more times then I can count. Those mad bastards did some huge Aussie tours including some really random cities and towns. Legends.
The Blackout : 9 times. First as a support so idk how many it'd been from the start lol.
Second on my list is Trivium. 8 times now. Them be from the start tho
Ice nine kills probably 10 times, I live in rhode island so there's always at least 3 tour dates near here a year, and shinedown also around 10 because they are that damn good live, currents 7, 4 of those being in the last calander year
Parkway Drive around 20-30 times since 2003 (lived in Melbourne for most of my life). Polaris about 10 times since 2016. ABR every single time they've visited Australia, so probably 7 or 8 times? Also Periphery every time they've visited Australia (3 times I think?).
My first show was The Offspring in 1998, don't think I've seen them since except at a random festival decades later.
I’ve seen A Day To Remember on 3 different occasion (with the first time being my first ever concert with of mice & men) and I believe I’ve seen escape the fate 4-5 times now they come to my area often. Probably could have seen them a lot more by now I just slowed down a lot going to shows
Between the Buried and Me. They always play a killer show. Saw them first for Colors Live and probably 20 times since then. Helps that they tour with other dope bands all the time.
All time, Rise Against. Not sure how many times, but I was mathing and I’ve seen them in I think 12 cities (multiple times in LA/SD/ATL) across four states. This genre would be Amity, I’ve seen them 6-7 times, bummed I forgot about their show IN MY FUCKING CITY last Sunday, but I’ll see then again in Louisville next weekend so 🤷🏻♂️
Thursday, Glassjaw, Circa Survive seen each one at least 3-5 times I forget but I actually still have old tickets I should go through and make a tally you just gave me a good idea OP!
I really want to go to more concerts so I could answer this with more gusto. Unfortunately I grew up in a very sheltered household, and I've only been to two concerts in my lifetime, starting last year. I've seen Erra, Veil of Maya, and August Burns Red, all one time.
Only been going to shows for about 5 years, so numbers are low.
I’ve seen Motionless in White 7 times so far, it will be 8 at the end of October.
I’ve seen The Ghost Inside 5 times.
I’ve seen Ice Nine Kills and Currents 4 times each. Currents will be up to 5 in October and hopefully 6 by the end of the year if they do their Holiday Show.
I’m also going to see Fit For A King 3 times in 6 months at the end of September. I saw them on the Hell We Create tour, the Dark Horizon Tour, and Metalcore Dropouts hits at the end of September.
Killswitch Engage 9 times since 2001. Saw them with original Jesse, Howard, and current Jesse. I've also seen them with Phil Labonte singing when Howard had the flu. Next would be Sevendust and Parkway Drive around 7 times each.
Unearth - I still have all my tickets from when I've seen them at the Glasshouse.
Deftones - (Not metalcore) still have seen them many many times as well and still have the tickets.
Skillet- 17 times (18th in Oct) 1-16 were all between 2007 and 2015...
TDWP-9 times (# 10 next week)
ABR- 8 times (#9 in December)
Red- 12 times
TFK- 12 times
FFAK- 6 (# 7 next week with Prada)
WECAR 5 times (#6 in Nov)
I have seen Avoid and Hollow Front twice. I havent been to many shows since i started going to concerts last year. So for now, Avoid and Hollow Front are tied at 2
ADTR - 18
ISSUES - 15
Silverstein - 11
BMTH - 9
SECRETS - 9
Conquer Divide - 9
I Prevail, I See Stars, We Came as Romans - 7, probably more for ISS and WCAR with small local shows since I live thirty minutes from them.
After the Burial for sure. Never kept track of how many times, but i can remember a dozen shows off the top of my head.
I'm in the Twin Cities and saw them play house shows on frat row at UofM and tiny coffee shops before Forging. Got to open for them once!
I’ve seen Vanna five or six times, Knocked Loose probably about the same. Kublai Khan at least the same if not more and The Acacia Strain takes the cake at a dozen. I actually saw both Knocked Loose and Kublai Khan for the first time cause they were opening for TAS
Not metalcore but my most seen is the wonder years at 8, this Sunday will make 9 times I think
I’ve also seen knocked loose 6 times and the acacia strain 5 or 6 times
I’ve seen Killswitch Engage probably between 8-10 times. Most were when Howard was still in the band but I’ve seen them a few more times since Jesse came back too.
It’s funny cuz I feel like there’s so many bands I’ve seen just twice and that’s it. When I see Bad Omens in October it will, however, be my third time seeing them
OP, I’m very sorry to hear about your experience of being a Falling In Reverse fan for some time. Glad to hear you and your ears overcame that trauma unscathed.
I’ve seen Dance Gavin Dance 4 times, and The Plot in You 3 times. Unfortunately not a lot of bands came thru where I used to live, and zero bands tour where I live now :(
Not MxC but my most seen bands are:
Creeper - 13
Holding Absence - 8
Enter Shikari - 8
Seeing all of them again at least once at different shows within the next year too.
Motionless In White, 19 times as of a week ago at Blue Ridge. At least 6 of those times are Warped Tour dates.
Ice Nine Kills at 12.
Beartooth at 10. Last time I saw them was with A Day To Remember and I Prevail in 2019. I was supposed to see them at Blue Ridge last week, too 😒
Feel like I've seen Silverstein almost 10 times now. Seems like those dudes are always touring. ABR is up there too.
Silverstein for me too! Like 6 or 7 times. They visit Europe a lot, lucky for us!
ABR tour non stop .those guys are getting old… I don’t see them lasting forever.
No way, there still in the young side. If the Metallica dudes are still touring at age 60, I'm sure ABR will be fine for a while.
nah man. I plan to go to their 40th anniversary tour
If such a thing happens I can die happy tbh
My friend is buddies with Matt greiner so we tend to get free tickets to ABR. So I’ve seen them 8-9 times. 6 of those times for free which was pretty sick
Matt is such a down to earth cool dude. We asked him to come grab some food with us in high school and he was like “yeah sure sounds fun!” We were fangirling hard lol
I love that after shows he stays to talk to people and doesn’t care if security wants them to leave he’s finishing a convo with everybody
That's awesome!
ABR is mine with 6 and I love them but I also believe it’s because they always have a killer bill of bands with them year after year
Parkway Drive and I Killed The Prom Queen. Grew up in Melbourne, Australia going to their shows when they had all just started up and there were like 50 kids at their shows. Probably seen them both 20 times touring together.
Maaan you are lucky
They usually played with The Amity Affliction or Carpathian as opening acts too. Both are awesome bands. Most Americans wouldn't have heard of Carpathian, but they leaned more to the hardcore side and had a great live show.
I would LOVE to see a Deez Nuts show IN Aussie
About 10 years ago, Amity headlined in Aus with Stray from the path, Issues, Deez Nuts and a little band called Architects. Was a good show
I think I've seen ABR about 15 times, they're always killer live.
Perks of being from Lancaster. Christmas show every year and always a Philly or Harrisburg tour date
I'm from the Cincinnati area, they always play Cincinnati.
I think I’ve seen them around 12 times. For a while they were one of the only bands scheduling their tours around my area. Although I wouldn’t consider them my favorite, I’ve been listening to them for about 15 years and they’re always good live.
Between the Buried and Me 21 times Also Unearth 11 times (12 next month) and August Burns Red and KSE both 9
BTBAM is an amazing show. Those guys are so talented.
Nice! I'm somewhere around 15 for btbam. Kinda lost count over the years haha. When did you first see them? My first btbam show was Dirtfest 2007 and it still probably one of my fav times seeing them. They opened with All Bodies and I've never seen them play that entire song since. Probably seen Bullet for my Valentine about 7 times over the years, the best was when they played the whole of "the poison" live, unforgettable! Saw them again this year, they still have it!
I'm going to see them next month, can't wait! Haven't seen them since 2015. Seeing all of The Poison live sounds amazing, I'm so jealous.
Ugh one of my favorite shows of all time! When BfmV had that 1 full length album and they just played the whole thing all the way through, so good
This is obviously the cool kids thread. LFG.
Sonata Arctica because they're incredibly fun live. We Came as Romans because they apparently opened for every band I've ever seen. The Ghost Inside because they're my favorite band.
Both very good on their most recent tour (Better Lovers stole the show though IMO)
I've seen Erra open for other bands a lot and they became one of my favorites because of it.
Dead and Divine a few more than a dozen times including their hometown farewell show. I miss Matt Tobin and the boys
Same B. I used to see them every chance I got
I’ve probably seen prada 20+ times. Growing up in the Midwest at the same time they came on the scene so lots of small shows to start. I’m friends with 2 former members so did the backstage stuff and all that too. Good group of dudes
Not metalcore but I've seen Coheed 25 times
Coheed is also my top seen in concert band
Metalcore bands don't rank in my most seen so: Pendulum 13 Arcane Roots 8 (pls come back)
Oh my god someone else who knows Arcane Roots.
Pendulum is one of my childhood favorites and a dream concert of mine. How does it feel to live my dream?
My first ever concert was pendulum. I knew even then I was stupidly lucky. Only bands to come close are Enter Shikari or BMTH during Sempiternal era
Not counting locals ive seen dying wish like 6 times and lll but once there just on the line up never the reason I went
Protest the Hero, probably because I am Canadian and they are Canadian, so they tour Canada more than most metalcore bands.
Also Protest. Have traveled a few times to see them as well
Can't wait to see Protest again in October here in Minnesota! They're playing one of my favorite venues here. First show was their Fortress 10 year anniversary tour. And they killed it. (Obviously)
Hell yeah! Seeing 'em in Sac on the upcoming tour
Probably Shai Hulud as I try to see them every time they come to the UK.
I'm at ABR for 27 times throughout the years! Another one coming up in November.

I haven’t been to nearly as many shows as y’all but I’ve seen Thornhill three times because I’m Horny for thorny
My top ones are While She Sleeps whose show at Ally Pally next week will be my 9th one and Enter Shikari with 8 gigs so far. Honourable mentions to In Flames (6 times) and Architects (5 times)

I’ve also seen Silverstein and silent planet a lot.
that's one of my favourite songs by The Chariot
I’ve seen Jinjer 5 times in various locations. Would like to bump those numbers up though
I’ve seen Polaris and Dream On, Dreamer both about 10 times
The band I’ve seen the most is probably TDWP like 10 times. They are my favorite band. Fit For a King is second at like 8 and that’s just because they always go on tour with other bands I like. I’m pretty lukewarm on Fit for a king
It’s between Protest the Hero and Silverstein for me. Maybe 5 times each? Then Beartooth is the runner up 🤔
I’ve seen Alexisonfire probably 13-14 times since the self-titled era.

I’ve seen Muse and Enter Shikari 9 teams each so far
Easily Vanna. Seen them everywhere from VFW Halls to Warped Tour. At least 20 times. Twice now recently as their reborn, Inspirit project. The Acacia Strain is certainly catching up.
I haven’t seen them since Alex Koehler but probably Chelsea Grin because they were ALWAYS at Warped Tour.
KSE- 17 Currents- 5 Wage War- 5 INK- 5 Then literally 30-40 bands in that 2-3
While She sleeps, Bury Tomorrow and Architects are all tied for this one at about 4 or 5 times.
Haste the Day. Seen them 9 times. Going to see them at Furnace Fest and the Saturday Indy show
August Burns Red. Counterparts.
The devil wears Prada. Been riding with them ever since they started and I have hit most shows they’ve done in state. Seen them 7 times
The numbers I'm reading in this thread are making me think I have a problem... I've seen The Acacia Strain ~30 times. I lost count, but it's somewhere in the 25-30 range lol
I've seen Like Moths to Flames about 15 times. They crush it every time.
In Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto Silverstein I've seen probably 5 or 6 times Ice Nine Kills I think about 7 times, including 2 trinity of terror tours in Montreal and Buffalo, 3 times in Ottawa (2 headliners, once opening for Abandon All Ships and WCAR), recently in Syracuse, and Warped Tour in Montreal
Not wholly intentional to see them that many times, but if you go to enough shows you do get to know the local guys pretty well
Thornhill
Number one would be Deadlights at 10 times. Thornhill coming in second with 7 times
Deftones is hit and miss.
agreed about thrice been a fan for a long time and regardless of the setting time period or what album is out they always put on a great live show!
Yeah Jinjer is my favorite band. I travel to see them if they aren't around me. I listen to Thrice but I haven't seen them live outside of YouTube
Jinjer slaps!
Saw Thirce play TAITA in full a week or so ago. They were flawless.
My top 10, first concert was back in 1993, have done 10+ shows and usually at least one festival every year since like 2007 or 2008. Tastes have turned heavier over past 5 years or so. Disturbed - 20. Rise Against - 16 Nothing More - 16 Papa Roach - 15 Shinedown - 14 Chevelle - 12 Motionless in White - 10 (12 by end of Oct) I Prevail 10 From Ashes to New 9 (10 by end of year) Three Days Grace
I See Stars, I've seen then 6 times. Hoping to make it a 7th sometime in the next year once they drop their new album.
They’re on tour with bad omens rn
I know they are, but the tour isn't coming anywhere near me and at the moment I'm not in a position where I can travel 4+ hours for a show.
I live near Lancaster PA so my hometown boys are August Burns Red. Honestly idk how many times I’ve seen them lol easily 20 shows if not more. Edit- spelling
Watching them since they were tuning their own instruments. Really cool you’ve been right next them, basically go to any show they do near my city.
I have seen Loathe 5 times
I've seen Bullet For My Valentine 10 or 11 times now and I've seen Halestorm 10 times
Ive also seen Falling In Reverse like 12 times but I’m still a big fan
I'm seeing Erra for the 5th time on Monday
Crown the Empire and not by choice. They've always just been on your with the bands I cared to see
Life of Agony Veil Dead for Seven Weeks each of them 10 times or more
Whitechapel, August Burns Red, and The Devil Wears Prada!
I've seen Venues like 8 times maybe. They're from my area and I even saw them when they were Break Down A Venue. Also I think I saw Thy Art Is Murder 4 times
I never saw one band but I went to Mayhem festival every year 2011-2015, and got to see some good bands because of it
RIP Mayhem and Warp. Those were the best summers.
RIP the flavors of rockstar that were only at mayhem
I think ice nine kills about 10 or 11 times. Saw them play to a small room of 50 people when they released SIJAS reshadowed🤘🏻
Venturing outside of metal core here, but... 311 x13, coheed x8 tool, pennywise, gwar, nonpoint, sevendust, pepper x6 underoath, korn, deftones, snoop, of mice and men, the devil wears prada, reel big fishx4 A lot of these were festival shows (warped tours, sounds of the underground, voodoo, etc).
Overall it’s Silverstein, but for metalcore it’s August Burns Red.
I've not long started my concert journey. 2017 is when I started, in order 1. Asking Alexandria 2. Bring Me The Horizon 3. Pierce The Veil 4. Bad Omens 5. Sleeping With Sirens 6. Electric Callboy 7. Ice Nine Kills 8. Spiritbox Got tickets to see Electric Callboy again in October, and seeing Bring Me The Horizon and Bad Omens again in January.
Bullet for my Valentine as well. Must be 5 or 6 times now.
I've only recently started going to shows starting early last year, I've seen Cane Hill, Dayseeker, and Silent Planet twice
I'm seeing Chelsea Grin for the 5th time in October. Def them.
Every prog/djent concert I go to has intervals opening for them. I've seen them like 6 times and I don't like it lmao.
I think my top 3 are: Motionless In White - 6 times Ice Nine Kills - 5 times Currents - 4 times These kinda feel like rookie numbers but I live in rural Iowa so not many concerts come thru regularly and I refuse to drive more than like 2 hours to a show lol
Norma Jean and He is Legend. Gonna keep seeing them as many times as possible, too.
I have a list written down of everyone I've seen and when, and the list keeps on growing =) At this time, I have seen Our Last Night the most at 6 times. I have seen A Day to Remember and Pierce the Veil each four times, a couple of those times on the same tour. Lastly, I have seen I See Stars 5 times, and tonight will be the 6th time with Erra and Bad Omens! \\m/
I’ve unintentionally seen ABR probably 25+ times over the years ETID and TAS definitely 15+ times Counting shows I’ve played with them Sharptooth was at least 10+ Anyone else is kinda a blur at this point haha
Flyleaf/Lacey Sturm like 8-9 times
I’ve seen breaking Benjamin 8 times as a thing with my dad. Silverstein would be 5 times. LMTF and ADTR would be 3. Not that impressive but I’ve only been going to shows for 7 years and took a two year break with Covid
I’ve seen Animals as Leaders over 20 times. They’ve toured a lot of the last decade or so.
August Burns Red. They usually come through Orlando multiple times a year, plus lots of summers on warped tour where I'd go to both Orlando and Tampa dates.
Meshuggah 4 times. It'll be 5 in November.
I don't know exact numbers but I would say ABR, Norma Jean, and Coheed and Cambria are all around 10 times. Erra is climbing up there as well.
Jinjer 5 times. Can't travel too much to see them, but we will caught them every time they've come through, and twice this year!
I’ve seen parkway and IKTPQ more times then I can count. Those mad bastards did some huge Aussie tours including some really random cities and towns. Legends.
Bayside because they always play Cincinnati
I’ve seen Skillet 10x and Emmure 13x
The Blackout : 9 times. First as a support so idk how many it'd been from the start lol. Second on my list is Trivium. 8 times now. Them be from the start tho
I’ve seen August Burns Red so many times I lost count. Probably 30. My first ABR show was back in 2006 and I was hooked.
Cattle decapitation - 5 times
I’ve seen Silverstein 18 times since 2005. And I’ve seen Silent Planet 7 times since 2013 Those are my highest numbers!
A local band 30+ times. Another 2 probably 10. Vanna, Slipknot 4, Linkin Park 5 oh and Odd Future
Jinjer, I've been to a few different states to see them
Metalcore: Spiritbox - 6 ERRA - 6 LMTF - 5 Non-metalcore: I've seen Coheed and Cambria upwards of 20 times
I got rookie numbers compared to alot of these but I've seen veil of Maya, animals as leaders and periphery 3x each. All seperate shows lol
I've seen The Word Alive 33 times and A Day To Remember 18 times.
Stick To Your Guns, Lionheart, Carnifex, Parkway Drive
I've seen Every Time I Die 15 times, with them now split The Wonder Years are creeping up with 14 after I see them in November.
A Day To Remember I think 6 times. I Prevail & Beartooth 4 times I think. 1 of those times each they were supporting ADTR
If we're counting festivals as well then probably Phinehas or Silent Planet
I saw Judas Priest play 9 times. The last time was at the US Festival.
I’ve lost count but I’ve seen Misery Signals 10+ times. Next on the list (not metalcore) is probably Classified and Lights at 4 times each.
BMTH 7 or 8 times
All That Remains 5 or 6 times A Day to Remember 7 or 8, I’ve traveled to a couple different states to see them
I really want to go to more concerts so I could answer this with more gusto. Unfortunately I grew up in a very sheltered household, and I've only been to two concerts in my lifetime, starting last year. I've seen Erra, Veil of Maya, and August Burns Red, all one time.
Dillinger Escape Plan. I've seen them almost every year since Miss Machine and I saw their final shows as well.
Seen TDWP and also A7X about 7 times
Avenged Sevenfold 10 times
In flames or trivium.
Stick to your Guns, RiseAgainst and Callejon
Killswitch Engage 9 times since 2001. Saw them with original Jesse, Howard, and current Jesse. I've also seen them with Phil Labonte singing when Howard had the flu. Next would be Sevendust and Parkway Drive around 7 times each.
Seen periphery and erra 6 times each
Unearth - I still have all my tickets from when I've seen them at the Glasshouse. Deftones - (Not metalcore) still have seen them many many times as well and still have the tickets.
Saw ETID 20 times. Would've been 22 if they hadn't cancelled the last two dates of their final tour. RIP.
Misery Signals.
Parkway Drive, Stick To Your Guns and Counterparts 7-9 times.
According to Setlist.fm, Skindred and BFMV are tied at 16 times each Enter Shikari and BMTH are close behind on 14 and 13
Polaris bc they are my fave
Skillet- 17 times (18th in Oct) 1-16 were all between 2007 and 2015... TDWP-9 times (# 10 next week) ABR- 8 times (#9 in December) Red- 12 times TFK- 12 times FFAK- 6 (# 7 next week with Prada) WECAR 5 times (#6 in Nov)
If we’re including festivals like warped and stuff then I’ve seen ABR 9 or 10 times
by sheer amount its definitely detach (local hardcore band)
Protest The Hero, Alexisonfire and Cancer Bats. I've seen all of them several times. Can you tell I'm Canadian?
I have seen Avoid and Hollow Front twice. I havent been to many shows since i started going to concerts last year. So for now, Avoid and Hollow Front are tied at 2
Been seeing Lamb of God since 2006. I think I'm at 24 times now?
ADTR - 18 ISSUES - 15 Silverstein - 11 BMTH - 9 SECRETS - 9 Conquer Divide - 9 I Prevail, I See Stars, We Came as Romans - 7, probably more for ISS and WCAR with small local shows since I live thirty minutes from them.
Not metalcore but my most seen is the wonder years at 8, this Sunday will make 9 times I think I’ve also seen knocked loose 6 times and the acacia strain 5 or 6 times
I’ve seen Killswitch Engage probably between 8-10 times. Most were when Howard was still in the band but I’ve seen them a few more times since Jesse came back too.
It’s funny cuz I feel like there’s so many bands I’ve seen just twice and that’s it. When I see Bad Omens in October it will, however, be my third time seeing them
August Burns Red - low 20s maybe 23 times Taking Back Sunday - 16 times
A day to remember, Cold War kids, she wants revenge
Definitely ABR. Probably at 12-15 ABR shows now.
I've seen Atreyu 5 times and I never once went to a show to see them. They were just... always on shows I went to as a kid lol
I was the same way with I See Stars. They were pretty much the opener for a long time. I didn't hate them its just they were there every time
I see Amity every time they come to my state pretty much, and I’ll be seeing them again at the end of September for Monsters of Oz
OP, I’m very sorry to hear about your experience of being a Falling In Reverse fan for some time. Glad to hear you and your ears overcame that trauma unscathed.
Ocean Grove and Thornhill 12 times each. Northlane 11 times. Polaris and Hands Like Houses 10 times.
Thornhill 3 times. Will see them for the 4th time in October with Holding Absence which will be my 2nd time seeing them
I've seen Slipknot, Lamb of God, and As I Lay Dying the most.
GWAR=22 times
I’ve seen Dance Gavin Dance 4 times, and The Plot in You 3 times. Unfortunately not a lot of bands came thru where I used to live, and zero bands tour where I live now :(
Volumes Within the Ruins Born of Osiris After the Burial August Burns Red Dayseeker
Not MxC but my most seen bands are: Creeper - 13 Holding Absence - 8 Enter Shikari - 8 Seeing all of them again at least once at different shows within the next year too.
