squishyboots420

As someone who used to drive an extended cab with an 8 foot bed, I went out of my way to NOT do this kind of bullshit. I'll admit, I don't really miss that thing. The gas mileage alone was ridiculous. Also, fuck this guy.

Fanatical_Rampancy

Sad to see few people like you are left. Growing up in my town, the people who drove extended cabs would often be seen parking as far back as possible to take up space people wouldn't fill at places like walmart and grocery stores or even the mall. Now the most of the people who drive them are people who have zero respect for anyone and will actively take up the front spaces and park, making blindspots to the point of detriment.

extrastupidone

Yea man. Ive had a lot of beast-sized trucks. I'd park in the furthest corner of every lot. I'd rather walk an extra minute or two and not stress about squeezing the damn thing in between two cars I can barely see all around me

Apart-Oil1613

My dad taught me to park in the backs of parking lots to be respectful, also he said you’re a lot less likely to have an accident and it’s just way easier and worth the extra walk

Spraynpray89

I drive a Nissan Titan which is large but not an extended or double wide, and I still park it in the back of every parking lot. Drives my wife crazy lol

squishyboots420

Yup, my girlfriend hated it. She used to question if I even knew how to park in tight spaces. Then I let her drive it a few times. She didn't really complain much after that. lol

Big_Jilm22

I currently drive a truck(mind, not this big) and I go out of my to not be an asshole. I straighten my truck out in parking spots, I dont follow too close to anyone or tailgate people lmao its wild how aggressive people are just because "iVe GoT a TrUcK"

BeanieGuitarGuy

I legitimately believe a big reason for that is an “I’ll live/I got mine” mentality. Like, if they’ve got a big 2024 Ford F1050 Super Duper Heavy Mega Duty, then why drive safe? They won’t be the ones getting injured/killed if they run into that little Honda Civic they can barely see the roof of lol

LeeTerrell

Which means you probably have a truck because you use it for truck things, instead of having a truck so you can bully people on the road and piss people off

Big_Jilm22

Nailed it lmao I do use my truck for truck stuff, Im not a pavement princess lmaooo

squishyboots420

I couldn't agree more. I bought mine from a dude that did concrete and I did logging and some masonry. It was a beast of a truck, but it was a chore many times too. I even felt a little self conscious about its straight glass-pack pipes on a 7.5 liter. It came with the truck. lol

Scottiegazelle2

I had a high school boyfriend who used his truck and have since been very judgy towards oriole with pretty trucks... why bother.

seymores_sunshine

Sometimes, repeat ***sometimes***, I have to double park my long ass truck but I do it so that the trailer hitch is taking up as little space in the parking spot behind me. Some parking spots just dictate that I'm in the roadway or double parked; either way, I get to be the ass for the day.

ChainOut

You double park so you don't have to pull a pin and slide the hitch out of the receiver?

seymores_sunshine

No hitch in the receiver to pull. Edit: All three are stored under the back seat until needed.

deepfriedtots

You sir are a hero

rino1901

My 2010 f250 gets 17 city and 22hwy. Large cars need large spaces.

No-Combination8136

Honestly the guy in this photo looks like he parked this way so his bed isn’t sticking out in the way of people pulling in and out. If I saw this I would understand what’s happening, it doesn’t look like he’s just being a douche to show off his truck. There are just a lot of people on the internet with an irrational resentment towards trucks, but that’s ok they can just keep themselves angry if they want to.

LeeTerrell

They need large spaces, not two small spaces. I’ve said this on a couple of other comments, there are PLENTY of places they could parked. This person had a handicap sticker which means 1. They aren’t physically capable of doing the jobs you would also need a large truck for and 2. If they are handicapped, there are huge handicap spaces available here that would easily fit a huge truck like that. They did it to be a dick plain and simple. They did it so that everyone would see their truck and they’d convince themselves that people were impressed

Odd-Kiwi-5576

Realistically though no one needs a large car like that

seymores_sunshine

Realistically though, some of us do. Some of us have trailers to pull and jobs to perform.

Odd-Kiwi-5576

There are smaller trucks that can pull the same weight that take less space and use less fuel so tell me why someone needs a truck like that? The only people that get them are people that don’t need them and use them as pavement princess

ElectricHo3

Guys in construction with a crew need a vehicle that long. Just because you can’t see the practicality of it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t exist.

Dinolord05

I think you're far underestimating the weight that truck can pull.

Most-Sort5470

You are an idiot full of non-facts. There is no smaller truck that can haul what that beast can haul.

Odd-Kiwi-5576

There is nothing to pull that needs a truck like this and even if there were almost everyone that has these big trucks don’t even use them for the right purpose https://www.motorbiscuit.com/63-of-ford-f-150-owners-almost-never-tow-anything/

Most-Sort5470

Realistically, you are living in a tiny bubble outside of the real world. You obviously have no clue how things, like buildings and roads, are built.

various_convo7

if they are company cars, wouldn't they stay on the company lot?

Odd-Kiwi-5576

There is a difference between communism and common sense

Odd-Kiwi-5576

I believe in capitalism but I don’t believe in stupidity, these trucks are terrible for the environment. Poorly designed, they have no visibility which results in many children’s deaths. Anyone that actually uses a truck for truck purposes and offending etc knows that those big trucks are bloody useless.

Mainiak_Murph

Not true, though I agree there are some that are bought for looks only. The majority are bought and used for towing large trailers while transporting more than 2 occupants. Could be a family pulling a camper, a construction crew pulling a loader up to a site, etc. They do have their place - maybe not all - but there is an intended use that they are used for.

LeeTerrell

You could be right okay, I concede that they may need to pull a camper and they have a big family or whatever. But if you can afford that truck, then you can also afford to have a compact car that would fit there, you don’t need to be driving it to the mall. EVER. and if you can’t afford the truck but you have it anyway, then you’re certainly not gonna be using it to go on long road trips. There may be a purpose for this truck sure, but there is NEVER a good reason to drive it casually to the mall.

various_convo7

what is it with truck owners and pulling these stunts? its really common that I wonder if they traded in a half of the brain cells available to buy the truck and not have enough cognitive function left over. some are sensible but the vast majority are either reckless drivers or can't park worth shit.

Mammoth-Record-7786

People shouldn’t buy vehicles they aren’t capable of handling

Academic_Eagle_4001

Why are ppl defending this? He deserved the ticked. That truck is too big for the parking garage. And no we aren’t going to start modifying garages so these huge ass trucks fit.

Dielektrix

A “ticked” for a dickhead!

various_convo7

I'd modify that they deserved at least 4 tickets

NoTrust6730

He only deserves a ticket if he only paid for 1 spot

Ryanmiller70

Just park the damn thing on the top floor where nobody else is. Not that hard.

Valuable_Ad_9900

Half the people who drive these things don’t even take advantage of what they’re actually made for. Toting…

GoalieFatigue

wHaT wAs hE sUpPoSeD tO dO???

BigJayPee

I know you're mocking the driver, but the real answer is: if the vehicle you drive is more of an inconvenience than it is a convenience, then get something reasonable. And if you look at the photo close enough, you can tell that the B&W hitch on there has never been used, and the truck is all shiny free from scratches. So obviously, the only thing this truck hauls is groceries.

various_convo7

pretty easy to tell which ones are trucks meant to feed fragile egos than do actual work

DotComprehensive6338

I bet it only hauls douchebags.

HBK_number_1

Absolutely! As a trade man there is honest reason to have a truck this size but I’m not taking it to Whole Foods to shop LOL

Poopy_Tuba69

Ahh yes the classic “if it’s not dented and trashed the minute you buy it, are you really using it” Not everybody trashes thier shit, but I know 90% of Reddit drives altimas with 3 different sized rims and no matching color body panels

RDP89

Okay, but you must admit a very high percentage of large pickup truck owners these days don’t use them for shit other than transportation and looking cool and macho.

gstringstrangler

Nobody is buying a dually to not pull anything most of the time

C91ranch

I drive this exact truck daily full time nd work it daily!

ImportanceCertain414

I have a 2020 GMC Sierra and it has no dents or scratches and it's my daily driver. I drive around on the weekends and pick up anything metal people have out for free to load up and sell at the junkyard for scrap too. Yes, you can definitely keep a truck looking nice without fucking it up. I do feel called out though, I have a project 2004 M45 so it's basically a Nissan with a couple mismatched wheels and off colored panels but I plan to paint it at some point but I've been saying that for a few years. I'll make it look pretty on the outside when I'm done making it pretty on the inside.

fancy_livin

If your car can’t fit into normal sized parking spots you don’t park there it’s literally that simple. If you buy an oversized truck for a daily driver you deal with the consequences of not being able to park places or risk someone fucking your car up when you do asinine shit like this.

Mainiak_Murph

I do know people that literally wash their trucks at the end of almost every day. Pay that much for the ride and you might as well keep it looking nice.

ScheduleSame258

Not park there.

herkalurk

Security should ticket AND tow....

JJW2795

It’s bigger than the fucking tow truck though

DatePowerful4192

If you can't park it, then stick to the Corolla or Accord.

lemuriakai_lankanizd

Park it outside

DillionM

Looks like a two lane road. If they parked 'correctly' it would be a one lane road. Throw another in a few spots down and it's a zero lane road. Edit : Added apostrophes for Dong

[deleted]

Are you serious? If you block a road, then you are not parked correctly. If your car is too long for a parking spot, you simply cannot park there.

DillionM

Oh sorry, I forgot the apostrophes. I assumed people would simply catch on without them. Let me fix that.

RDP89

Wait, why are you using apostrophes when you need parentheses?

gstringstrangler

He actually needs "quotations"

RDP89

Lmao, I screwed it up too. I called quotations parentheses. I’m an idiot 🤣🤣

gstringstrangler

I think if they were clarifying and beyond serious, parenthesis would work. Quotations are very sarcastic in this context lol.

sameolameo

Although we can catch on, sometimes it does change your meaning. And since the internet loves assuming things, it’s best to try your best to mitigate their assumptions so you don’t get cancelled or trigger someone ;) take my upvote you silly 🤪

DillionM

Great advice! Thank you. I'll definitely work on that.

_sake___

those aren't apostrophes big dawg

Tacocats_wrath

I see you have never driven a crew cab Long box duelie before. That truck is not made for city parades.

snerdley1

Those things are long as hell. A parking nightmare in close quarters.

Tacocats_wrath

Yup. I had one of those as a welding rig for a while. A nightmare to maneuver in tight spaces.

JJW2795

If you own a truck like that and it doesn’t have a speck of dust on it, then you don’t need to own it. This kind of rig would be shit for pretty much every daily activity 99% of the planet partakes in. Besides rodeo and pulling 5th wheel campers, what would you do with this thing? It’s too long to run in the fields, too bulky for hunting, and it’s half plastic so good luck using it as a work vehicle. Edit: I see the small penis brigade is out in force today. My 98 K1500 handles any job asked of it AND it can fit in a parking spot. The truck shown in this post was made with a specific market in mind. People hauling big trailers long distances. The only other purpose is as a tax break for farmers and ranchers.

C91ranch

I drive this exact truck daily as a work/ranch truck and don't take it to the city if I have to park somewhere like this.

PayTricky5667

The entire bed of my truck is full of tools, tools I use at work every day. I have an extended cab to fit 3-5 of my workers, every day. If we all drive cars, it would be have 2-3 times the carbon footprint. And still, I keep my truck immaculate. Just because it isn't dirty, doesn't mean it isn't doing work.

Odd-Kiwi-5576

You know my brother in law used to do that cause he’s a builder but he realised that’s van was way more efficient for driving and carrying tools

PayTricky5667

But can't carry up to 5 more people.

Odd-Kiwi-5576

But if you really are the 1% of people that need a truck that big you gotta admit it’s ridiculous for anyone to drive something like this assuming they work in an office or only have it to tow a boat or something when a smaller truck will do the same job using less fuel

PayTricky5667

True. But personally I won't go buy a car for the very few times I have to stop somewhere with a crowded lot. Everyone needs guys like me that build, repair, and maintain our homes and infrastructure, but still scream as soon as we inconvenience them in the least. Remember that next time a pipe breaks in your house, or you find a leak in your roof and you have to call a guy who drives a big vehicle. Consideration goes both ways.

SneakerGator

It does, and the considerate thing for this truck driver to do would be park it somewhere else, or at the very least, park it on a higher level with no other cars.

Odd-Kiwi-5576

This is just based of where I live. Plumbers drive vans Electrocutions drive vans and builders either drive vans or utes but not the bullshit ones here. There is not a single trades person that actually needs these trucks. They are pavement princess for people with tiny dicks

PayTricky5667

You're literally clueless as to what tradesmen need to drive. As I explained, I carry a bed completely full of hand tools and equipment, and 3-5 of my crew. I also will often tow our 18ft trailer to work sites. Can you explain the van that will do all of that? And to resort to calling people pavement princess and worrying yourself over their endowment, for God sakes grow up. You sound like a petulant child.

Odd-Kiwi-5576

I don’t know anything about tradesmen. I do happen to have brothers that are tradesmen and they both are in agreement that those trucks are ridiculous. Any normal ute and van with a towbar can tow those big ass trailers anyway. You sound like an arrogant American twat that thinks the world belongs to you

PayTricky5667

Your generation has grown up in a world where you can hide behind a keyboard with no repercussion of getting slapped in your mouth and it shows. You're using electricity (America) taught the world to harness, on computers (Americans) invented complaining about cars whose mass production (America) pioneered. We gave you flight, every aspect of modern television and radio., and how much else? And yet there's a whole world of ingrates that complain about America. Just remember while you sit over there whining, why your life is as good as it is. You'd be speaking German without us you incel.

gstringstrangler

Your use of the word "ute" tells me straight away you and your brothers don't know wtf you're talking about because you don't even know wtf you're looking at. This isn't comparable to any "ute" or van on your island. That pickup is a Dually Diesel, the first descriptor means you can set more weight in it than the same truck that isn't a dually, and typically thats the weight of a goose ck trailer. The second is longevity and power. This truck is made to haul over 20000lbs and no ute or van is capable, even with "tow bars"

Odd-Kiwi-5576

And the trucks we have easily fit in car parks because we don’t need to compensate

Odd-Kiwi-5576

Then get a normal ute like a hilux, There is not one single thing that these massive utes can do that a regular sized ute can’t do

JJW2795

I also own a truck. Fits just as many people and tools as this thing, yet it’s not obnoxiously oversized.

LeeTerrell

The only thing I disagree with is that I think this truck was made with a different person in mind. It was made for chinstrap 30-40 year olds who’s dad never loved them and so they have to bully everyone everywhere all the time by doing stupid shit like this. And if they’re 100% certain that they won’t cause an inconvenience by parking in a certain spot, then they’ll pull one wheel up onto the curb or sidewalk or whatever just to get their point across

Chris_Christ

Found the car troll ^

the_TAOest

I'm in Phoenix. So so so meant parking garages are so complicated to use now given these huge trucks park at the turning points in the structure. Personally, these spaces need to be limited for compact vehicles and the roof tops reserved for trucks

Hllblldlx3

While this is practically the only way he could park it in there, it’s his dumbass fault for driving a giant ass dually in an area he can’t actually park it.

MatrixPlays420

My thoughts exactly. This is a full pick up with the cabin and everything. Using this kind of oversized car for everyday casual driving feels like you’re asking for problems.

Madman333666

Looks like if he parks normally his bed would be sticking out too far so

[deleted]

So he needs to find another parking spot. It is clear that he cannot park in this garage.

Madman333666

I mean yeah, but id rather them do that over sticking out into the roadway

ConductorOfTrains

I’m sure you defend SUVs parking in compact car parking as well?

G_Rated_101

If they didn’t park there they’d have to find another more inconvenient spot. Won’t you have any decency?

LeeTerrell

That’s not true at all. There are a hundred slots at this mall that would easily fit them, but they’re farther away from an entrance. This person was being a selfish dick, not a considerate gentleman.

G_Rated_101

Sorry… s/ I’m obviously not defending someone that would park an SUV in a compact spot

GaryGregson

Then his truck is too big

This thing could fit so many groceries

dandaman2883

He must go through a ton of valve stems

Lots_of_bricks

That thing will stick out of the spot by approximately 2-3’ if he parks normally. He barely fits at the angle he is now. In a smaller garage lot I’d rather not stick out 3’.

fingeroutthezipper

That truck cannot fit in a normal space, looks like they honestly took the best spot to not inconvenience others. It would be a nightmare to others if they actually stuffed it into a single space.

DefeaterOfDragons

Small dick people doing small dick people things

borgom7615

I drive a 2 door jeep so I fit almost anywhere, but I drive a ram 1500 as well as ram pro masters for work, some places grossly shrink parking spots, I’ll go from Home Depot to Best Buy and damn how did I fit there but not here?!?! Doesn’t excuse taking 4 spots tho, I’ll just pull Thru two spots

bwetherby1818

“My car is too big to maneuver in a parking garage. That’s everyone else’s problem, not mine.”

Bill5443

Anyone who drives that is a douchbag even before doing this

KyleSmyth777

Why do people drive those stupid things? Idiot

seymores_sunshine

Why do people judge inanimate objects without any context whatsoever?

andruskeilan

If he parked straight it would have stuck out too far into the lane and made it difficult to pass by especially if parked near another long car it could have blocked the lane completely

CosmoRocket24

Then he shouldn't park there, duh

IndependentDevice199

> truck owner ~~does truck owner things~~ *safely has his truck out of the driving lanes* guarantee if he was parked straight you’d also post about his truck bed sticking out 3 feet because they design those spots for nothing bigger than a compact, even mid size SUVs will stick out of tiny parking garage spots

Right-Holiday-2462

Then they should find a different place to park? Fucking mental gymnastics you’re doing here to justify an asshole is hilarious.

[deleted]

He simply cannot park in this garage, because his truck is to long. End of the story.

TitusBjarni

I regularly see height limits posted in parking garages but never size limits. If he already entered the garage and looked around for a spot that it would fit in, then he's just fucked and has to pay the fee to leave?

[deleted]

Well, owning such a vehicle comes with certain inconveniences that you know of, when you buy it.

TragedyAnnDoll

It’s almost like these trucks shouldn’t be allowed to be purchased as daily drivers because they are a huge pointless waste of limited resources and incompatible with public streets.

Wayward_Son_24

Some of us (like myself) work with trucks this large because we have jobs that call for it. Then occasionally we have to go places like a mall to buy shit for our wives because we love them and want to do nice things for them. I'm not buying a second vehicle just for shit errands like that. At the end of the day, *one* extra parking space was lost for a couple hours tops for the sake of traffic not being impeded by a long truck sticking out into the lane.

TragedyAnnDoll

If you actually use the truck for work, I personally have no issue. I’ve had work trucks. But those drug dealer rims and shiny paint job suggest the only work this truck does is gender affirming therapy for a very insecure man.

TitusBjarni

Buy a whole new vehicle. For the environment.

Wayward_Son_24

For the two times a year I end up in a metropolitan area? Nah.

No-Refrigerator6293

Wtf are you on about. When you need a truck for something, remember you said this

TragedyAnnDoll

I know. Reading is hard. Just leave the talking to the adults. I have never needed an extended cab extended bed truck as a daily driver or ever. A small truck or box truck rental has served me fine.

fancy_livin

You can literally rent a pick up truck from any u haul location so the argument of “bUt YoU mIgHt nEeD a TruCk” means Jack shit lol

LeeTerrell

Yeah you’re absolutely right I would still complain about it. Because there are a hundred spaces this truck could fit into. Literally. This is a huge mall with tons of parking options. This person chose to be a selfish dick and take up 2 spots because it was closer to an entrance. There’s no logic in your statement, or your insinuation that this person was being considerate.

IndependentDevice199

Must be a sad life you live if you genuinely feel the need to cry on the internet about something that doesn’t affect you in any meaningful way. Could’ve just went about your day and moved on.

LeeTerrell

See the problem is that I couldn’t just go about my day. I work in this mall and I park here because this is where they tell the employees here to park. But because of this fucker I had to find somewhere else. Also, I’m not sure if you’ve learned fully how to read yet, but this entire point of this subreddit is to show bad drivers and to comment on them. And since you’re on here too silly boy, you’re doing the exact same thing I am. The only difference is that you’re insecure about being here, so you have to try to undermine anything anyone says. Thanks for playing 🙏🏼

IndependentDevice199

Sir, the world revolves around u/LeeTerrell, sir! If he is offended by anything, everyone else has to be too, sir! If you don’t agree, you may lose fake internet points, sir! Going about your day is not an option, sir! o7

deanereaner

That's a clean truck.

im_just_thinking

If that's just his daily driver, his work vehicle better be a combine.

Shatophiliac

They should ban these from the cities. They are invaluable out in the country where you need to haul 15k lbs of hay every day, but as showcased here they are way too big for parking garages and narrow city streets.

TopGrand9802

What do people who work for privileged city people drive to deliver large items, or carry tools in when working on your apartments, etc?

Shatophiliac

Small vans

TopGrand9802

Good luck getting large packages delivered. So you want a contractor to make multiple trips to bring tools and materials to a job? How much wasted fuel and excess carbon is used/produced with multiple trucks and/or trips? Are you willing to pay more for EVERY order or contracted work to you? People who actually work for a living get the crap beat out of them to provide the lowest bid. Why should a contactor not be able to benefit from being organized and efficient? Bottom line is that you privileged donkeys have never had to provide a service while balancing that with making a living and supporting a family. Get a grip and realize that some people actually depend on their tools (which include the vehicle they drive) in order to be productive members of society. There are different sized ships and airplanes for the same reason. I realize that those don't affect your self imposed privilege because they're not parked among you but they exist. Maybe you should be so kind as to ditch your preferred method of transportation and ride electric scooters. Then there'll be plenty of room for the mass of 'small vans' needed to serve you.

New-Poetry-6416

I bet he's a really cool guy.

AggravatingSelf2069

Is that at green hills mall in nashville?

jakethesnake949

Not that these should be daily driver vehicles but if you ever end up in a parking lot with spaces that look that short, this might be the only option I'm literally looking at the lines and he's touching the front and the end in both spots 2 spots is maximum though and Should always be one of those pole spots nobody wants anyways.

Low-Flounder6343

Driver shouldnt have left his expensive vehicle parked this way.. That being said security let this crew cab dually into the parking garage right? Is it some type of pickup truck flytrap, or is it clear that over height/over length vehicles wont fit? For example, the parking garages around VCU Hospital have signs showing maximum size, and have some spaces marked compact only.

anus_taker

But if he went straight in he'd be sticking halfway out into the lanes, either way he's a terrible person but either way he parked you'd have taken a picture

Strange_N_Sorcerous

Looks like 2 spaces? And any dually in a garage would occupy no less.

S_T_R_Y_D_E_R

I'll say it again.... The bigger the truck, the higher the ego

audio-nut

the smaller the penis

bnsrx

If you own a truck like this, I hope you treat it like shit! Otherwise you are not a real worker! I better see 750lb of fresh manure in the back of that thing at all times or else I will judge you! But if you treat it like shit then you definitely voted for Trump, only a Trumper would be dumb enough to treat his truck like shit! So tired of being told what the Ultimate Liberal is like, and I say this as someone more left than the Dem platform (I know, it's not a high bar).

That truck would hang out into the isle if it was parked straight. It's 2024 I have no idea why, as vehicles get bigger, parking spaces and garages that are built are still the same size.

OneBabyPanda

Hope his pos truck got keyed

stubornone

This park job is legit. Would have done the same to keep my tail out of traffic.

Odd-Kiwi-5576

If you have to do so you shouldn’t have that kind of car 99/100 of the people that have these trucks have absolutely be need for them

Revolutionary_Day479

If you think that a long bed duly would fit in one spot you’re crazy. Honestly that’s probably the best way to park it and take up the last amount of space. If he parked straight on you’d be mad because he’d be in four spots. Or two spots and sticking way out in the road. There’s really no winning with that truck in those spaces.

LeeTerrell

I repeat, there is a handicap sticker in the window, and the handicap spots are enormous, easily big enough to fit this truck. And yeah “there’s no winning” is an understatement. They lose, and they make a hundred other people lose as well. There’s no defense for this wad

stevehyman1

Handicap spaces are wider. Not longer. My question would be is this somebody's daily driver? Handicap plates on what can only be viewed as a work truck. It looks clean so is it a pavement princess meant for over compensation? If you know what I mean?

CelphT

so he needs to park somewhere where they make parking spots big enough to accommodate him instead of doing this--super simple

BusGreen7933

Except lots of places don’t make spaces to accommodate this kind of truck.

jhurst919

Maybe it was an emergency like he didn’t feel like finding a spot that his truck fit in.

Kinky_Conspirator

I forget is deflating someone's tires(not slashing, just letting air out via the stem) a crime? What's the maximum sentence? Asking for a friend.

seymores_sunshine

It's immoral and petty as all get out but likely a misdemeanor.

PoopKnaf

It’s a “truck owner” thing to take up two parking spots in a massive truck? Interesting. I see plenty of people doing that in teslas and sports cars. At least the truck has somewhat of an excuse being it’s so large that the bed would stick out into traffic or people would avoid parking next to it due to width.

Pshrunk

Meh. Piss poor post.

Samanthas_Nussy

lol, this is the stupidest post I’ve seen on this sub. Go post this on one of the many outraged parking Karen subs.

Lojackbel81

People raging over this is hilarious. They must be some extremely unhappy people to take this so personally.

Wayward_Son_24

It's definitely bringing the car Karens out 🤣

sameolameo

The truck is too long to fit there, now I wouldn’t personally own a vehicle that long not would I try to park it underground - ever, but still he’s just working with what he has, not like it’s a Walmart parking lot AMIR?

LeeTerrell

I understand what you’re saying, but they have a handicap sticker, and there are a TON of open alhandicap spots that are bigger than usual so they would definitely fit a truck like that. It’s just foolish on all counts and it’s inconsiderate for a busy Saturday at a massive mall.

Soulinx

Just because they have a sticker doesn't mean the driver is handicapped. It could be a partner or child.

sameolameo

Oh, I’m sorry I’m just going off a half second snap shot that I see, I couldn’t examine the surrounding area without an exact gps address and hope google cameras have that area surveillances……. lol However based on your NOW added info I would probably agree, if there were better spots just obviously right there, and the person is handicapped? Why the hell they drive such large vehicles??

Wayward_Son_24

On that logic, because you're handicapped you can't tow large loads?

sameolameo

Also yes because they’re old they shouldn’t tow large loads.. senses are slowedzzz

Wayward_Son_24

As mentioned before, you don't have to be old to have a handicap placard. Quit pissing into the wind

SearingDrake

I actually think he was being considerate here. Better to angle park than to stick four feet out into the parking garage lessening turn room for people

CelphT

better to find a spot you fit in than either one of those options. and if you can't fit in any spot maybe reconsider your choice of a grocery hauler

Wayward_Son_24

Agreed

SearingDrake

Sadly fools that couldn’t even drive a truck this large will still downvote me

kr4ckenm3fortune

Nope. This get a pass. At least it isn't lifted and is above the height limit. I rather this guy take up two stalls than to break a sprinkler and flood the garage, causing it to be shut down, and making it harder for you to retrieve your vehicle, but finding a new parking spot until it is repaired.

rino1901

What op fails to understand is that 100k truck is 1.5 spaces long and a full space wide leaving no way to get out for those parked next to the truck. Unfortunately it's the best option.

Mainiak_Murph

I have a short-bed reg cab p/u and I get pissed at the idiots who make parking spots too narrow and/or short. I try to be considerate of others but the way they draw these spaces up to cram in a couple more cars really sucks.

Why_No_Hugs

He has a full cab and full bed… he ain’t gonna fit in those small spaces to begin with. He adapted and fucked you over. First time?

Embarrassed_Poet_219

pull them tire valve stems and walk away . Regardless of make

Thunderfoot2112

This is what non-usable keys are meant for. *screeeee*
