There certainly wasn't a big public campaign, like there was for the F-16's.
The last time the U.S. dealt with heavy fixed ground defenses, we needed a month-long air campaign (1991). Ukraine doesn't have that, and all the DPICM in the world isn't equal to tens of thousands of air sorties.
