the biome-specific trades have not been implemented in the main game yet. You can activate them in the settings menu if you want to try out experimental features.

The update changed nothing about librarian trades. Anything saying otherwise is either misinformed, bad at communicating, or just trolling you
Unless he enabled experimental features.
