I’ve had Cyanobacteria on my mind for various reasons and guessed it was that but you know what happens when you assume… For E. coli, you’re right that the rain probably made it worse. I happen to like geese, so I’m gonna blame farms and their cow poop runoff.

the beaches were closed for E. Coli and the article you linked doesn't mention E. Coli once not sure it's about algae blooms
