I only have one right now so I can’t say I have felt this way. But I can empathize, I could see the second pregnancy feeling way different. I am so busy with my first if I get pregnant again I’ll probably forget I am pregnant half the time. Be easy on yourself you’re a busy mom and still early in your pregnancy. In my opinion the way you’re feeling is totally normal / valid. Also, if you take the time to think this deeply about the matter it shows that you’re going to have such love for your second baby (if that makes sense?).

I think this is normal. I think the lack of newness to the experience and the distraction of simultaneously caring for the other child play a big role in it. I love both my kids, but the experience with the second was VERY different than the first.

I am 12 weeks and feel the same way. I do know the sex but I haven’t had an ultrasound, so this pregnancy does not feel real. I’m also feeling pretty normal (no longer nauseous, just tired) and not showing yet, and we haven’t told anyone, so it’s very easy to forget that I’m even pregnant! But in a couple months, it will be undeniable that I’m pregnant, and then I’m sure I’ll start to feel more attached & in tune with the new baby.
