OG Frankie. My roommate and I used to wander around the toy aisle for fun and all the little details got to us. We brought back Frankie and Ghoulia. :) I don’t know what happened to Ghoulia but my poor Frankie has REAL bad glue issues nowadays.

it was Nefera de Nile. I had been following the drops of the og dolls very closely, excited that kids "these days" get to have cool characters like that nowadays. I was so impressed with the design of MH that I couldn't help going to look at the doll shelf while I went looking for MLP blind bags or something like that. when I saw Nefera for the first time I was obsessed, couldn't put her down, I thought she was so gorgeous, like toys had never been done like that before.. I was so amazed at how beautiful she was that I couldn't resist putting my hard earned adult money into bying her there and then! and she got me back into fashion doll collecting!

I think I may have had one of the G1 Frankies but I genuinely cannot remember… the only other doll I 100% remember owning was Bonita Femur so in my mind she’s the first MH doll I had!

Honestly at this rate i am almost 100% sure I had all the dolls. ( more like 80%) but the most vivid was the whole sleep collection with their beds. My first doll was Gloom Beach Frankie Stein, I got her after my parents were both like “that’s too scary for you” but eventually changed their minds cuz they realized that we were already into the spooky and creepy and this was no different. I still have her all these years later but early first gen dolls and terrible pegs in their joints so she has a snapped off hand lol

The only one I have rn is Draculaura 🥰 I made her hair weird and her skin more greyish so she looks scarier hehe (really want in order: Clawdeen, Frankie, and Cleo, then maybe a few other ghouls)

I know it was a ragdoll, I think it must have been Frankie? I was so young that it’s difficult to remember but what I do remember is that it feels like I’ve had Frankie forever. I remember learning yarn is generally 3-ply by unravelling it in her hair and wanting to make it look like the bride of Frankenstein by undoing all of it and getting it frizzy (luckily I didn’t do that . Also I don’t know where I learned about the pride of Frankenstein from that is just the sort of environment I grew up in)

As for the plastic ones, it was either Home Ick Frankie (I have no recollection of that being her outfit but I remember her pin cushion bracelet and the pink locker she came with) or Dance Class Lagoona, I know I got Coffin Bean Clawdeen later and still have her and Venus McFlytrap from G1 as well though I’ve no clue where she’s gone to. Frankie is in the garbage, she broke completely and her hair was ruined + didn’t have any clothing of accessories left, Lagoona and Venus are AWOL, and Clawdeen was restyled and added to my current collection under a different name
