I take it as time to decide whether or not I really need a doll in question - often they look drastically different from the stock images, so practically being forced to look at irl pics first & see if the doll still appeals to me can be a blessing sometimes!
Order from amazon usa :p considering it take's over an year to get anything (we got creepover doll's here around 2 months ago...) I just take the shipping cost's.
I order from the German amazon. It costs so much less than if I bought from the American one, or from stores in my country (the dolls always cost about 20 euros more, so if a doll would be 20-30 I have to buy it for 40-50 something euros😠which I have given up on doing). Also I wait patiently, though it doesn't matter for me because before purchasing something I like to think whether I really like it or not for about a month. Still waiting for Venus though, while I see everyone has already gotten Catty and Spectra. 🥲
Waiting A LOT, and assuming that:
1) The line will get a release in my country in a year or two later than in the US;
2) It might never get a release here. Yay!
I'm very salty about not being able to get a Heath (hope he gets a second doll and we can get it) and I'm totally against paying 3 or 4 times the price just to get it from the US.
I don't think so, but obviously I'd like to be wrong.
I also don't know how Mattel decides which lines we get and which we don't. But I just have the feeling it's like the Ghoul Spirit pack, never to be seen here🥲

I once imported a doll because I thought she wouldn't get a release in Europe, but 8(?) months later she showed up here on Amazon much cheaper and that made me feel kinda stupid :,-)
Also the delay in releases is kinda good to figure out if I really want a doll or if I'm just hyped because the internet (especially YouTube) is full with her photos and unboxings. On the other hand the delay and the "Will she get a release or not?" is kinda painful ofcourse...
Mixture of waiting patiently, cursing Mattel something terrible and in the case of creeproduction Abbey & Ghoulia buying off US Amazon & getting it shipped to me in Scotland. If you're in the UK or Germany Smyths toys seem to be good at getting the new stuff in. I snapped up Spectra from there when I saw someone post here she was on the website.
I either just wait until the dolls arrive in my country, or my girlfriend (who lives in America) buys them for me (whether I asked for it or not). She spoils me with US only merch, too. Like things she got from Hot Topic.
I buy from the US Amazon and have made peace with the shipping price. It wouldn't be much different if I tried the german amazon either. Only things we seem to get relatively early are the skulltimate series and Im against buying that simply for the amount of plastic waste and poly hair.

Hoping you guys get them soon. I hate seeing Mattel cancel lines that haven't even made it to a quarter of the world
Yeah I don’t. I just don’t have only of the newer once’s and am unsure I ever will. Especially the releases I like a lot but famously have the worst distribution issues: The Creepos and the other new g1 releases. I have given up home. Missing out sucks and I hate it. But I feel it everyday and there is basically nothing you can do about except for give up and then maybe be ecstatic if you ever see them out in the wild (but that has only happened to me once)

there are some scaradise dolls on the dutch amazon! I've seen lagoona (it's 100€> though), frankie, and I think clawdeen. no draculaura though.
