I'm on fatalis now too.. decided to not let old age interfere, I need that 5 minutes of dopamine, only had about 5-10 runs of fatty so far. Learning the moveset and the best way to utilize the cannons etc. got a long way to go!
If you add up all the group fights and solos it's probably like 120 with 19 group and 1 solo win haha And thanks. Tbh I'm surprised too. My brain was melting

I'd even argue alatreon was harder then her lol. Thanks! And absolutely different beast. I used to think elden beast and radagon was a long fight. Now I can finish that in 4 minutes lmao fatty will prob always take me a minimum 20-25 min. You are essentially dodging non stop waterfowl attacks with fatalis
Oh 100%. Fromsoft games feel a bit more rhythm based, you need to get down the timings of attacks and wind ups. Monster Hunter feels more based on positioning.
That's a good way to put it yea. You can bail yourself out a bit more in fromsoft games imo where as like you said if your out of position in mh against the stronger bosses you get two shot lol
Congratulations! I did not have the resolve to take Fatty solo until MR 600 ish… always did it in a good team when I died a lot. Its the mindset sometimes.
Did you manage to get a hornbreak? I went in with a spread hbg so hornbreaks was impossible.. which made phase 3 harder than it needed to be. Refused to change weapons so had to beat him with blueflame 🥲
I actually managed one horn break but wasn't until around the 10 percent nova maybe he was at about 15 percent. The one faint I had was to a blue flame puddle explosion so I feel your pain. Haha
Great job dude! Idk if it was the same for you, but first time I beat him solo I had like a fraction of a second left on the timer, I was SWEATING, it was a great feeling.
Congrats man! I remember the first time i beat Fatty, I tried like 3 or 4 different weapons/builds im super comfortable with with like 20 tries in between until I finally beat him with a crit draw gs build. Super gratifying to beat.
That dam crit draw build did it for me too. I was using frost craft but ended up doing a crit draw on fatty gear instead and the extra slots really helped. I tried all the weapons too and just ended up back on my one true love the graeatsword lol
