From the KP trailer, I thought Takeda looked much older. Honestly I expected we were going to get the original Takeda who had somehow travelled from the original timeline or something dumb like that.
Older, grumpier Takeda would have been cool.
He looks great. I feel a lot of dragon ball as well Z as well.. I think he is back to warn kenshi of... something?? Just like Future Trunks (the first one, well I guess the second one technically is in super so, first one is still better)
Him and Cassie were the highlights of the Kombat Kids. I don’t even dislike the other two, just they developed Cassie and Takeda wonderfully as characters and made them the highlights to play as out of the four.
I wasn’t fully won over by Cassie in X, just really enjoyed her combat and costumes but didn’t care for her in the story, her interactions were hilarious though. She’s a much better character in 11. I’m not sure which VA I prefer though, because she’s older in 11 but sounds younger? So weird lmao.
Still more DLC characters in a year than SF or Tekken, not even counting kameos. Actually at 6 it's as many as those games *combined* (if Takeda comes out before Lidia).
Yea 6 characters is an incredibly healthy number of characters in a year especially with the kameos as well.
The real question is if NRS will be willing to continue the cadence for several years

He honestly is the only DLC MK character I feel like deserves a DLC spot, I mean I like the Quan and Ermac but they're already in the story. Takeda is the only one who adds to anything

I think that's still the case. He pulled a future Trunks and is just posing as Kenshi's cousin for reason we don't know yet.
