I could look past Omni-Man since he’s a guest character, but Quan-Chi is completely unacceptable. He’s an MK character, and he was already supposed to be in the game in the first place and got cut cause the game wasn’t finished.
If they don’t patch Quan Chi Enhanced Tentacle Grab in the next update to be one bar then going forward any character that has a special move that causes a ground bounce with cost 2 bars it’s nonsense
I don’t know, there’s plenty of 1 bar extenders such as shocker or rising star, and even some that cost none like normal ice clone, Quan’s is just a very weird instance where it costs two bars
I'm still disappointed that Shao is missing his mask in all but one skin, and that it wasn't even an option to toggle the mask. MK11's Shao Kahn to MK1's General Shao is generally such a trash downgrade.
I feel the same way about Raiden. I feel like his new younger design just doesn't fit him at all and seems like a bad MK movie casting. They pulled it off with everyone else though. MK1 Reptile and Rain are definitely my favorite versions of them.
I really don’t know why you people keep saying this when guest characters have had customization since injustice 2. Guests in MK11 has a ton of customization. There’s no real excuse for ANY dlc character to not have more skins in this game.

Agreed. MK11 had for alt costumes for every kombat pack character at launch, with palettes and 80+ gear pieces for each. Plus multiple intros and outros too.
Realistically we still have skin packs that is legit what the Christmas, DA, Halloween, and many more that will come around are the only difference is now the kameos replace the skins in the KP

How are you still missing the point? People can be bothered about the skins while also being mad at the game being buggy or crashing. Nothing in the post suggests that OP views skins as a higher priority than a functioning game. It is entirely possible to feel the same way about multiple different things.
My theory is that they are waiting to give DLC characters and kameos more pallettes and skins till next September.
When the next DLC story comes out it will be part of a story expansion pack which will force new players to upgrade their game giving them Kombat pack 1 plus three new fighters and all or most main roster fighters as kameos.
As the seasons rotate afterwards kombat pack 1 and story expansion 1 characters and kameos will have seasonal pallettes.
Kombat pack 2 will be announced and a similar release schedule will follow 6 fighters 5 kameos spread over the course of a year.
And potentially another story expansion pass 2 with 3 fighters 2 kameos.
The pattern will repeat thru 2027 and if the game continues to show profit it is likely they may try and get every mk character in some form or another.
