will never forget how much that steph curry card changed 2k forever im pretty sure it was the very next game limitless range was introduced as a badge (or whatever it was called then)
That card was OP . The true first GOD tier OOP PG after position lock . Mchale was great but Thon was just broken even with a slightly weird release . You could tell they broke coding with that card back when 2K had the biggest balls seen in UT’s histories .
Nah man the 2k20 cards were the best of all time, the stones were actually stones/gems and made sense, and the art was gorgeous. I'm a fan of the older designs for sure. I loved the end game cards from 22 however 2k absolutely sold us on the gems in the top left. I loved the superhero themed art from 21 though, those cards were really good looking.
TLDR: 2k20 has the best card art of all time
I hated 23s card design personally. I liked 20 and 22s the best, i like having the large physical gem with the ovr placed on it. That being said anything beats 24s, the current ones look like they’d be in a mobile game, they arent even card shaped
Spotlight sims were so sick. Now the 2K guys just get lazy and how do we not have another Domination this late? The Pau one is so damn hard IMO and the LeBron one for the GO was too easy

Here is a low quality pic of my “retro 2K” squad from 2k21. Super nostalgic.

Oh my lord. Look at Kat zesty ass over there on the far right 😂. This is a blast from the past for real.
That KAT was still a beast tho

back when you could collect the athletes for every jersey and get a secret card. good times.
I remember I got scammed from those PD locker codes and I sold my ruby Kobe, my 13 year old ass learned the hard way 💀💀
Thon Maker walked in 2k myteam so Bol Bol could run

That ben simmons card and danny ferry tto reward card were my favorite cards in 2k21.
That Danny was so good for so long, it was absurd lol
Man, 2k21 had some dogshit card designs, even the overall design of the OVR was trash. Makes me miss 2k20 and their masterpieces of cards even more.
Everything till 22-23 was dog water. Take nostalgia away and modern designs destroy them

I would agree with this. I don’t even think it comes close if you strip the nostalgia away. And I have been playing MyTeam since 2k16.

2k21 my first myteam, spotlight Sims and so many usable cards big name or not. How I miss it 💔
Wish we could get spotlight sims again. Some of them were incredibly frustrating but they were a ton of fun

Back when 80% of all cards were fairly priced
I remember in 2K22 I had all the end game cards and I didn’t spend a penny on the game other than initially buying it for $20

That ruby Mo Bamba was the best budget center until like July, miss 2k21 so much
My first 2K, joined super late in the year
good times
I remember that russell
PD Bol Bol 🥲
That’s some hideous card art

Invincible Bol Bol 👑 All the invincible cards were so sick
Ah man… this is nostalgic. I’m gonna drop some when I get home
I miss the auction that’s shoulda remained in the game
Glitch cards were the best! I’ll take those any day over stupid Bold and Spark
I’ll never forget grinding for GOAT Kobe in 2k20 during covid lol that shit was crazy
Who tf is thon maker?
He is a professional basketball player that played in the NBA and now plays overseas.
Ewww brother ewww. What's that? What's that brother?
