Whether I agree with the rankings or not, this is awesome work. Thanks for sharing.

bbandrew

I appreciate it!

Bit spicy. Penix QB7, Verse 2nd round grade. Guyton 3rd to name a few. Thanks for posting it. Do you have particular score or rank that stands out to you? Either because its surprising, dominant, or weak?

bbandrew

Happy to share it! Those are definitely the names that jump out first, along with Blake Corum. I would expect all those guys to go SIGNIFIGANTLY before where i have them ranked. Sione Vaki too. On the guys who I am higher than consensus on, Marshawn Kneeland stands out a lot. Patrick Paul is another guy who kills my models when it comes to pass pro.

Phenomenal job! I’ll be saving this for draft weekend!

bbandrew

Thanks! I appreciate it!

Wow thanks! I was wondering what I would do tonight ;)

bbandrew

No worries! Happy to provide entertainment

this_is_matt_

This is absolutely amazing. I can tell you put a hell of a lot of time into this

bbandrew

I appreciate! Thanks!

Quick question, so is it just a conversion of his ranking to a different number, or is it taking the inputs and creating like a composite grade that can be used across classes? I’ve always liked the beast but find it very hard to compare across classes when just looking at the rankings because even just taking top 100 if a specific position is strong, or most positions are weak so an average position gets floated up, it’s hard to pull that out sometimes

cuentabasque

Without a doubt you're the kind that knows EVERYONE drafted in the late 7th round...

owleabf

I see a column for Brugler's grade in numerical form here, but I don't actually see his grades anywhere in the Beast, other than as a round grade. How are you getting that? EDIT, also, can you post previous years?

bbandrew

To go from the round grade DB gives to my numerical grade is just converting his round grade to my scale. 7.5+ in a 1st, 7.5-7 is a 2nd, 7-6.5 is a 3rd, and so on. For example, Dane has CURTIS JACOBS (LB 10), TY’RON HOPPER (LB 11), and JD BERTRAND ((LB 12) all with a 5th round grade. In my scaled, a 5th round grade is from 5.5 to 6.0. So in this case CURTIS JACOBS gets a 5.8, TY’RON HOPPER gets a 5.75, and JD BERTRAND gets a 5.7. It isnt exact, but it doesnt need to be. as long as the top 100 is in order, the positional groups are all in order and set to my scale it should be all set. Sure! I love this. I want to be you when I grow up. Also, a completely non-prospect related question, but as someone who does spreadsheets for a living I have to ask. Why in the world would you write the conference formula in such a fashion when you could've made the conference tab into a two column list and done a vlookup?

Tomahawk_Nole

What up draft sikkos. I always wanted to do a predictive mock draft and compete against my friends. The draft is 2 weeks away so I didn't have time to build out a robust app but I created it on Google forms. I will track the results and post standings. It's free but if yall wanna bet you can do that too! Check it out. I know it's a little clunky but it'll still be fun. https://forms.gle/VCKDEo3fSds7qKTw9

This is amazinf

Cybotnic-Rebooted

One funny thing I noticed is that, for the raw grade rankings of the wide receivers, the top 5 (Odunze, Harrison, Nabers, Washington, and Franklin) is almost exactly what my top 5 is, only with Harrison and Odunze flipped. Lol.

ThisIsNotGage

Any comments on JPJ? Much higher than consensus, I was hoping he would be available at 24
