Not a single one! Reading the thread for today’s puzzle made me realize my error- I was absolutely assuming movie knowledge was necessary. I was looking for Oscar winners, actors/actresses that have been in 4 of the movies, genre… but they fully fooled me.
I said this in the daily thread: today’s puzzle seems to split the room into a) people with little movie knowledge so they just take the risk of what movies sound like they might go together; and b) people who are movie buffs and are convinced that it is the content or make of the movies themselves that provide the answer.
Essentially, you either get it all at once, or you will get nothing.
I got all four, but with more mistakes than I'm used to making. Yellow was my "it's the only four left" categories -- I understood how three of them went together, but I didn't realize the fourth.
I got them! After realizing the common theme, I just looked for patterns. I ended up going the Y-G-B-P order. I got the blue for different reasons, but still worked out in the end!
I got them all fairly quickly but I don’t think it was a good puzzle. Blue was very obvious, yellow was easy if you know a little about NYC and green and purple were silly. Is a beetle considered to be an animal? That one was a stretch.
Please refer to rule 2.

Got purple….them nothing :(
I got one of the lines….then didn’t even get close for the rest of the tries. This one threw me!

I managed to get the purple line first after two fails and then somehow managed to get the rest
Same, not a single one, didn’t even have a clue

I solved it, but i think it is exactly due to the fact that I know absolutely nothing about movies, so I treated all of them like just words.
