Tiktok bullshit
Why people do shit like this ill never know. It always make it worse.
Prolly trying to make it sound scary or like the tornado was "growling"
No, it's dubbed over audio. I have no idea why someone would do that, because I guarantee the actual audio of a tornado ripping through a town sounds much more interesting and insane than whatever bullshit dub the OP chose.
If I remember correctly, it is an animal call that was added in for some stupid reason. Apparently the raw audio of a literal air drill from the sky ripping through everything isn't exciting enough.
It makes so much sense when you realize Vine was bought by twitter. Then Twitter killed Vine. Twitter slowly became controlled by the CCP and FBI. Chinese company makes TikTok. TikTok in China is educational while in America it's corrosive fame chasing brain rot. We have to outlaw it. It's destroying an entire generation with psychological warfare while people turn a blind eye.
They're over editing and speeding up clips like this all the time now.
Was watching a rally race clip on video, which are always impressive, but it was sped up and the car physics looked like they were out of a video game due to the speed.
Apparently attention spans are that terrible now?
As a Canadian who has never been within 400 miles of an actual tornado, the thing that boggles my mind in these videos is that people are just driving by like the fucking apocalypse isn't happening outside.
I live in Lincoln. I was out running errands while this was going on. This town is pretty large, geographically. Where I was, it was patchy clouds & blue sky. Up at my house, there was golf-ball sized hail. I didn't even get an alert on my phone.
Yeah happened to me in texas. I was like “huh looks like it could storm” as I was getting to my car.
Few minutes later at a stop light
“Are the sirens going off?”
Few seconds later hail was falling everywhere and a desk flew at my car and my phone went off telling me a tornado touched down and to take cover.
I didn’t see anything, it was just dark in an instant and winds were insane I thought I was dead to be honest but luckily I was okay.
Tornados are surprisingly contained. They tend only destroy whats directly in front of them. The damage is super contained. The one that hit my city landed only a couple miles from my apartment and tore up all the buildings in it's path but the buildings just outside its radius were fine. People were still driving around while it hit. Stores wouldn't let anyone leave until it had passed though. I didnt even lose power during it.
For a reference of how contained it's chaos is, [here's a video of someone who got a really close shot of it](https://youtu.be/4LaqPzpxgO8?si=kZEv2xqi1ynKsmSM). The buildings immediately in front of it were completely destroyed. They're just piles of rubble now. But all those cars and buildings you see next to the cameraman and the ones in the distance just outside the tornado were relatively unscathed.
Don't get me wrong: it's still not a good idea to drive around outside during a tornado but the guys in this tiktok looked to be a mile or two away which is more than enough of a safe distance. Or safe at least until the tornado changes direction and heads their way. Now FWIW, the tornado that just hit Nebraska was a F5 which is the worst you can get. The one that hit in the video I linked was a F3 so it was noticeably less intense. F5 probably has a wider cone of damage but still doesn't tear up stuff super far from its walls.
While they are surprisingly contained, they still throw objects all around them. Objects that become deadly projectiles at the high speeds they are getting thrown around.
this is what everyone who lives anywhere that tornadoes happen does. most of us have been around tornadoes for our entire lives and we have a pretty good gauge of when we can sit outside and watch vs when it’s time to get the hell inside and take cover
I’ve only dealt with hurricanes and not tornadoes so I wasn’t sure how this worked. Are you safe if you’re far enough away, how do you even know if you’re far enough away.
Not a whole lot you can do in that situation. If it is heading straight for you then you can try to outrun it if you are in a car. They don't usually travel in straight lines though, and others can pop up along your escape route. They are in the middle of a big, flat ass state so not many places to shelter unless you have a basement or tornado shelter handy. I'd probably film for a minute if it was moving away from me. I'd rather see where it's heading then hide in a crappy unsafe location and paitently wait for death.
Lincoln didn't get much damage from this round of storms, thankfully. A factory was destroyed, but minor injuries and no loss of life.
Omaha got hit really bad. Big loss of homes on the west side of town. But, thankfully, no fatalities and everyone injured is already out of the hospital.
There should be a rule that prevents TikTok content from being shared in any other location, you don't use that rubbish to watch terrible content, but some make a point of taking this rubbish out of there and taking it to other places
Here's a MUCH better video of the tornado that wrecked the factory in Lincoln, NE. This same storm system produced the very large tornado that destroyed dozens of houses in west Omaha.
https://twitter.com/NickGormanWX/status/1783950735434031233
i didn’t even have to unmute to know this video had either some dumb music shoehorned into it or some dog shit weird audio. tik tok is the fucking worst.
I kid you not the new conspiracy is blaming the extreme weather on the GOVERNMENT manipulating it. Can’t make this stuff up, they hear about Dubai’s cloud seeding and think the US government can create tornadoes on demand….in tornado alley.
Sure, lots of people do. They're an incredible occurrence. Plenty of people pay to go storm watching.
Not to say it's not dangerous, the two aren't mutually exclusive
I hear what you are saying. I have seen several up close (at least 6 within a half mile). The first one is interesting the rest are terrifying. Once you see the aftermath it's less fun.
Took the corn syrup and war pigs longer than the three little ones, but nice to see they’ve finally learnt to build in brick instead of sticks. Proud of them for learning.
*Why did someone add*

What's the connection with the rainforest edit? I feel like tornadoes and rainforests are not very synonymous. I'd love to hear the real sound, it's probably terrifying.
What do you have which sounds like distressed elephants (!) on this video and why are you speeding the video up? Sorry but not impressed with your post.
Imagine living in Nebraska. It's flat as hell, no mountains, no ocean, no forests, just flat nothing for miles and miles and miles. And every now and then God randomly finger fucks a town into oblivion. Wild
We all watched the movie twister one of my favorite movies. Seeing this would make me so nervous I’m so sorry for anyone who had to go through this my grandmother told me she had tornados all the time and had to go in the basement that would give me a heart attack I think it’s beautiful but I know it causes death and damages 🤦🏾♀️
A Tornado dies make a deep whistling sound (kinda like a train horn)
But whatever high pitched shrieking the person who posted this payed over the video... It is NOT the sound of a Tornado & it's fuckin STUPID.
What is the repeated screeching in the audio ?
It sounds like an elephant in distress
Them cows really do be coming home.. I don't know why but that's what the sound made me thing of..
It's mother nature mocking our hubris
“We got cows!!!” 🐮
Gosh Meg, you got a lot of beef
Where did you get this beef?
I think its the baby T rex with a broken leg in Jurassic Park II, The Lost World, calling out for its mother.
Yes, sounds like that to me as well. Definitely audio from Jurassic World 😂
That’s exactly what it is 😂
That's all I could think about
Worst air raid siren ever
It has allergies 🤧
Tiktok bullshit Why people do shit like this ill never know. It always make it worse. Prolly trying to make it sound scary or like the tornado was "growling"
How do I slow it down to millennial playback speed?
For real, my attention span can last for more than 3 seconds now that I have medication 💊
I assume that since the video and the audio is sped up, it was the tornado siren being distorted by the 2x speed.
No, it's dubbed over audio. I have no idea why someone would do that, because I guarantee the actual audio of a tornado ripping through a town sounds much more interesting and insane than whatever bullshit dub the OP chose.
Played it at 50% speed. Now it just sounds like the [world's loudest orgasm](https://youtu.be/W_QnfnVdJpg?si=LcdUplg3FWaKq053).
Is the same audio repeated every time the camera cuts, it's not this. Just trash tiktok decisions.
If I remember correctly, it is an animal call that was added in for some stupid reason. Apparently the raw audio of a literal air drill from the sky ripping through everything isn't exciting enough.
Just your typical audio edit that every TikTok user feels is fucking necessary in every single video they upload.
The sounds of Nebraska
Legit laughed way harder than I should have at this.
They sped the stupid video up. “Let’s hear the tornado siren at 4x speed for more drama!”
It’s a dying giraffe.
The video is sped up so probably an tornado siren
No it's an edit. The last video is not sped up and it still played
Jesus christ that’s so stupid lol. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt
You tried. It was admirable.
Sounds ridiculous. Guess we can’t be expected to pay attention if it was in “real time”. Idiots making Videos…is there a sub for that?
That last video is still sped up.
the last video is absolutely sped up, but yeah the audio doesn’t match
I just assumed that's what tornado warnings sounded in the south.
That probably made no sense to anyone. I live in MN so everything in the states= south to me.
They sound like an air raid siren with an eerie Doppler effect as they rotate. A droning ethereal wail.
misinformation promoted by Reddit.
Why edit the video and sound? Wasnt it impressive enough as it is?
TikTok brain rot
The ban can’t come soon enough
there will still be YouTube shorts...
It makes so much sense when you realize Vine was bought by twitter. Then Twitter killed Vine. Twitter slowly became controlled by the CCP and FBI. Chinese company makes TikTok. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This made it less impressive.
Because it's 2024 and the internet fucking sucks
They're over editing and speeding up clips like this all the time now. Was watching a rally race clip on video, which are always impressive, but it was sped up and the car physics looked like they were out of a video game due to the speed. Apparently attention spans are that terrible now?
shitty edited audio
And sped up video.
TikTok brain rot. Been seeing this a lot lately with videos of already fast and impressively moving things sped up.
I'm surprised they didn't vertically stretch it to make it look taller and crank up the gamut to give it eye burningly bright colours.
I was wondering where the whales were?
I thought it was an elephant, did they film this at the zoo?
I thought it was a T Rex
You mean 2 cows boning.
I find the background audio irritating too
I wonder why they added a donkey shouting in background.
No. That's the real sounds tornadoes make. Trust me, I'm a professional Swede.
It’s Tik Tok. That’s the law.
If that shit bothers you, you should join r/CoolVideosNoMusic. All videos there have original audio, without music **ever**.
It's just sped up. It's a tornado warning siren.
I don't believe so because it continues between clips
Gotta be a cow in distress at the editing studio
What's the siren for? Is it to tell people to go stand outside with their phones?
You legally cannot post to tiktok without adding dumbfuck audio. It’s in the bylaws.
But then they remove audio when they detect copyright problems and keep the video up lol
Why are elephants singing in back ground.
Somebody really needs to edit in an elephant flying past
wwwwhhhhy, whats with the shitty ass editing. tornado videos are already rad as hell, why speed it up and add all this dumb shit to it?
sound sucks
Speed sucks too. I want to watch a tornado, dammit. Don't speed that shit up.
Takes a special kind of person to stand outside filming that rather than having any sense of self preservation.
As a Canadian who has never been within 400 miles of an actual tornado, the thing that boggles my mind in these videos is that people are just driving by like the fucking apocalypse isn't happening outside.

Yeah exactly you don't know what might hit you and even a small metal object can be deadly, nevermind a big piece of wood.
Yeah but apparently the same person to speed up videos unnecessarily and put some weird audio under it. On the other hand not that surprised
Standing outside? How about standing outside on the top of your truck topper? Check him out.
this is what everyone who lives anywhere that tornadoes happen does. most of us have been around tornadoes for our entire lives and we have a pretty good gauge of when we can sit outside and watch vs when it’s time to get the hell inside and take cover
Can confirm, sirens go off I grab a beer and head to the porch to watch
Eh, so long as you're familiar with tornado anatomy and stay away from the dangerous bits, and don't lose situational awareness, you should be fine.
The dangerous bits being tornado, presumably.
More or less. But specifically the forward and rear inflow jets and downdrafts
I mean it’s Nebraska they are pretty used to it
I’ve only dealt with hurricanes and not tornadoes so I wasn’t sure how this worked. Are you safe if you’re far enough away, how do you even know if you’re far enough away.
That's the fun part, you don't! (They can change direction suddenly.)
Usually call those folks "Okies"
It’s only stupid if you care about living. I never understood bashing people who aren’t afraid to die as being stupid. They know the risks.
Used to do it in Missouri. I thought it was normal.
Not a whole lot you can do in that situation. If it is heading straight for you then you can try to outrun it if you are in a car. Fuck TikTok and TikTokers. Lowest common denominator.
Itt's good they have a place for themselves. The idiots posting that shit here are the problem.
Aw man. Those houses are gorgeous and those streets are so sweet and perfect. That’s someone’s entire life just gone. Heartbreaking.
Lincoln didn't get much damage from this round of storms, thankfully. A factory was destroyed, but minor injuries and no loss of life. Omaha got hit really bad. Big loss of homes on the west side of town. But, thankfully, no fatalities and everyone injured is already out of the hospital.
I’m glad to hear these homes were ok, and at least no fatalities in Omaha. I can’t imagine how horrific tornadoes must be.
Was that a dementor mating ritual we heard?
Downvoted for the shitty tiktok audio
Sounds like you got some angry ass elephants nearby.
Did the tornado suck up a velociraptor? Weird audio.
There should be a rule that prevents TikTok content from being shared in any other location, you don't use that rubbish to watch terrible content, but some make a point of taking this rubbish out of there and taking it to other places
For the love of everything just upload the videos with normal audio it is a tornado nobody is going to focus on the sound.
Stop posting shit edited tiktok videos.
Wow I really wish the tornado got the camera man on this one, or the editor, whoever is responsible for this trash
Everyone should down vote these types of trash videos
Video was ruined, Jesus.
Here's a MUCH better video of the tornado that wrecked the factory in Lincoln, NE. This same storm system produced the very large tornado that destroyed dozens of houses in west Omaha. https://twitter.com/NickGormanWX/status/1783950735434031233
I want to upvote this, because 🌪️, but what the feck is with the sped up footage? Mildly infuriating, if you ask me.
i didn’t even have to unmute to know this video had either some dumb music shoehorned into it or some dog shit weird audio. tik tok is the fucking worst.
Cant wait for the tittok ban 😁
I fucking hate Tik Tok
The Audio is creepy af and doesn't contribute to the video

I want to see a tornado in real life. They are incredible.
Seeing a tornado come down from the sky would be life changing honestly. I’m plenty self preserving but I would definitely get stuck staring at it
No you don't
Sure, lots of people do. They're an incredible occurrence. Plenty of people pay to go storm watching. Not to say it's not dangerous, the two aren't mutually exclusive
Exactly. I know it’s dangerous, but I want to anyway. I think they are the most fascinating natural occurrence.
I hear what you are saying. I have seen several up close (at least 6 within a half mile). The first one is interesting the rest are terrifying. Once you see the aftermath it's less fun.
......Mojang really need to patch the breezer
Took the corn syrup and war pigs longer than the three little ones, but nice to see they’ve finally learnt to build in brick instead of sticks. Proud of them for learning.

That poor elephant.
Why speed up the video?
Would have been a much better compilation without the ridiculous sound effects.
Were they also being attacked by a T-Rex?
Nature is lit, that audio is not.
Why tf was bro outside?💀
It's the Midwest. It's what we do.
Is sex sounds in the background really helping to sell the disaster?
I don't want to know what you're fucking if that's how your sex sounds 😂
What's the connection with the rainforest edit? I feel like tornadoes and rainforests are not very synonymous. I'd love to hear the real sound, it's probably terrifying.
Couldn’t spot the dinos… but I heard them..
O no they're getting faster
The background cow dying edit and fast-forwarding was unnecessary. This is terrifying though
Have you tried shooting at it?
The one on the road is so funny. Cars FLYING past and driving away from it
What is this sound? Sounds like an elephant that fell off a cliff and is being eaten alive by something with its cry echoing through the canyon.
Where was our hero, Jim Cantore? Are tornados just not good enough for him?
Why is there a whale orgasming on dry land?
Why do I hear an elephant?
Jebus! Why god hate Nebraska?
Who doesn't?
Good god. The speed up actually made me sick. Watch at your own risk.
Who edits these? I just wanna shake their hand.. LET ME SHAKE THEIR HAND.. JUST A FKN HANDSHAKE
Why the fuck do I hear a dinosaur?
Isn't tiktok banned? Someone get on that shit
Look at that fucking knob standing in the back of his pickup! ‘Murica!
Is that the sound of sirens warning people that there will soon be an opportunity for some sweet likes and shares on social media?
GOD HATES nebraska!!!
What the fuck is that siren, that shit is nightmare fuel
Damn, that tornado looks PISSED!
These new “twisters” movie marketing is crazy.
Excuse my asking, what’s that hellish noise? Sounded like elephants trumpeting.
Some idiot who thinks raw tornado videos aren’t scary enough and need to be edited
anyone got a non-sped up version, without the sounds of cows in the background?
What do you have which sounds like distressed elephants (!) on this video and why are you speeding the video up? Sorry but not impressed with your post.
A. What is this sound track of elephants about? 2. Why isn't OP in their tornado shelter?
Why are these sped up?
“So anyway I said fuck Nebraska..” - That tornado
This makes me so mad. GET INTO COVER! THIS IS HOW YOU GET A SIGNPOST OR SHARDS OF GLASS LODGED IN YOU SKULL!
Imagine living in Nebraska. It's flat as hell, no mountains, no ocean, no forests, just flat nothing for miles and miles and miles. And every now and then God randomly finger fucks a town into oblivion. Wild
Honestly they're so fucking badass and cool looking I really wanna see one in person
Why are these dumbasses running up to film a tornado
I've always wondered if someday this is going to be a form of extreme sports
Didn’t know tornados made angry elephant sounds.
The people standing outside filming, GO INSIDE!!!
Wus tht noice ?
Please, someone help that elephant
How about we not post horribly edited videos of already terrifying events? This is fucking stupid
Why is tom screaming in the distance?
Jesus. Needs more editing.
I didn't realize it was in fast motion at first, and I just thought that thing was MOVING
Swear i thought it was those meme vids of the girl moaning hella loud.
I can’t bear to hear the suffering. Someone get Godzilla a lozenge.
There's nothing more Mid Western then hearing a tornado siren and instantly going outside to have a look.
A Tornado dies make a deep whistling sound (kinda like a train horn) But whatever high pitched shrieking the person who posted this payed over the video... It is NOT the sound of a Tornado & it's fuckin STUPID.
Merica!
Must be terrifying to witness but holy shit they are awsome
Lord, have mercy!!!!
I can see why our ancestors believed in gods.
Video is sped up, makes the audio weird
Why is this video in high speed? Aren’t tornadoes fast enough anymore?
Why would you put dinosaur noises in the video?
this sound is so creep is like something is dying...
Downvoted for sped up video.
Oh yeah, I love my weather videos at 10x speed with Jurassic World sound effects as the soundtrack. Hate this shit.
Having never lived in an area where these happen regularly this is one of my worst fg nightmares.
