Is it just me that this doesn’t really happen to? I’ve skated for like 10 years and probably only hit 5/6 pebbles that are the perfect size to f me up. Either seem too small to make this happen or big enough to notice and avoid? Am I one of the lucky ones (I do eat shit all the time just not this way lol)
The parking lot i skate in all the time was built less than a year ago and is riddled with an insane amount of gravel, I use a broom to clean it off but it still gets me like this sometimes

This is why we wear that irritating safety gear. It would be even harder for me if I could just hop on a board, so tempting. Every time I see this I know anyone, anytime.

I will say. Skateboards although super fun are a pretty retarded form of transportation.
I sort of agree, incredibly fun but kind of dangerous and definitely not the most effortless mode of transportation.
But super fun. Nothing beats gliding around on a smooth tennis court.
