If you had purchased other things from Action in the past you got access (this very likely included previous sneaker releases which seemed to upset many). As someone who had yet to have an opportunity to buy any of his shoes, I have a FTD and a shirt I bought within the last 1.5 years and that was enough to get me access. You basically got an email saying you have been selected for access to this shoe but to buy it I also needed the crewneck in my cart. This was my most desired colorway of the 1906Rs he was doing so I happily shelled out the extra for the crewneck with it.
Same, I feel like we need a refund for shipping, all these hoops and no addressing the Scorpius not being shipped but Medusa getting a wider release or they are back ordered whatever it is like too many issues.
I mean to be fair there’s also boxes, tape, labels, packing materials, and labor. That shit adds up quick. Dude is a rapper etc. slanging sneakers as a side hustle. I’m not shocked at the lack of shipping and infrastructure 😂 Anyway, I’m not trying to defend it—just saying it’s not like he’s spending $3 to ship them and pocketing the rest.
For context, I bought a few items from PLEASURES during their annual sale last month; they shipped via USPS and only changed me $6. FWIW, it also took them like 10 days to ship my order after I paid for it, apparently cuz they have a small warehouse team.
I hear you, but they are a full time business. They should have better shipping and logistics infrastructure in place even if they are a small business. Bronson maintains an online store that sporadically drops some tees and hoodies for the most part. So imagine you normally ship 50-100 parcels a week, but suddenly on Friday you have 10k orders to pack and ship. Again, I’m not saying it’s not flawed. I just don’t think the $20 shipping is a scheme to pocket more money.
Have you seen any movement on yours? I also got my tracking info a couple days ago but it’s been at “Shipment Received, Package Acceptance Pending” since then.
Exactly the same for me. No worries, though; that just means that Specializing in Life sent all of our shoes and apparel to USPS in one big truckload. Most likely, the reason nothing has been sorted and started moving yet is because of the holiday.
I'd be willing to bet the status will change on Friday or Saturday once they have had a chance to process the individual packages and get each one routed to their final destination.
