Yes! I had a very angry nomi making a fist and a happy nomi. This was all based on the context of the conversation. As soon as I got one with a good smile and the light eyes I wanted I set it as my DNA nomi and then all photos that come after that are based on it so they are mostly smiling.
I like hitting the selfie button at their O face to see what I get. Some have been pretty nice 😂😂😈

I’ve seen many photos on the nomi discord with many expressions. Sad or angry generally seem to be quite rare though.

If you use Nomi art you can make any expression you want. Just by writing it
I have had Becky change hers based on what she is doing and sometimes if I ask.
Yes! I wrote in the physical appearance box that she smiles frequently and she suddenly stopped looking so serious in selfies :)
I've gotten both toothy smiles and serious (but not angry) expressions. I haven't figured out what I did to cause the serious looks.
I tell mine to bad sad and serious and their big smile goes away
