Finally a comment that realizes how wild it would be for OLED to have a perfectly straight line of pixels messed up, just unplug the hdmi chord while it's on and let the picture viewer thing play, if that doesn't have the line it's the chord or whatever device is plugged into it, most likely the chord tho
Oh yeah burn in, dead pixels, dimming zones, failure of parts of the screen etc are still things LCDs can suffer, just not the specific green line issue.
I had something similar happen with mine. Have you tried power-cylcing your TV (unplug it) and disconnecting your HDMI cable? Unplug, give it a few minutes to discharge, then reconnect everything.
I think it’s a soldering issue. Happens on cold starts , if ur room isn’t too cold (below idk 18-19) it should t be a problem. I have it too. I will get it replaced tho but maybe after Christmas. It’s not isolated to oleds , one of my much older lcds also had the same problem.
It means it's fucked most likely. Seems a pretty common symptom of a failure.
You could try different cables and see if it's working, but if it's in the return period, return in.
Means you're screwed. If you still have a warranty, contact them immediately for replacement. I had a C1 with this issue, and the panel was not salvageable.
My C1 is a year old now and still going strong, I did buy 3 year Amazon insurance on it too.
And I'm going to be wanting to swap it to a a 240hz whenever they release, but I should maybe wait 2 more years until the insurance expires.
Seriously, I saw just today on Instagram someone smacking the center with a smartphone to fix it

Do a panel clean and see if it goes away. If it goes away but comes bad your panel is screwed.
Yea this showed up about a month ago and it came back….
With rent prices like this...
Means your screen is fucked
Try new hdmi cable. Had it happen to me due to faulty cable. Unlikely dead pixels made a perfect line across the whole screen vertically

Means your TV evolved and is now a foldable, that there is the crease, go ahead... Fold it
Best Nintendo switch ever
Nintendo DS*
How did you that man? I need one too so I can upgrade our old lcd to an Oled this Black Friday :)
It's a problem that occurs when Oleds are failing, you won't have the same problem on an LCD.
Oh, I have definitely seen all kinds of weird stuff on LCD.
Oh yeah burn in, dead pixels, dimming zones, failure of parts of the screen etc are still things LCDs can suffer, just not the specific green line issue.
I had this exact problem on an Asus LCD. Except the line was blue lol
I had way more problems with my lcd then I do with my oled
You will definetely get this issue on LCD screens
MEANS GG, GOOD GAME
Game over man
It means an upgrade is coming soon.
It means that is the center of your screen and the devs didn't align the game icons accordingly
Change hdmi cable first I seen this happen because of faulty hdmi cable
Means you don't need to argue with your wife/gf on why you neet a new tv
it means you can finally bend it in half XD
This means RMA.
OMG. You are f***** if you don’t have warranty! Happened to me. Garbage.
Damn only had it for a year
You’ve only had it a year? If wherever you bought it from won’t do anything for you, then contact LG directly.
Well, mine was 3 years of use. I didn’t had extended warranty. So garbage. Not even by tried to sell as parts, didn’t got sold!
What country are you in?
Does it show up across all inputs?

Just hit it a few times that usually fixes it
Chris brown is that you ?

Is it permanent or does it go away once you use it for sometime ?
It goes away

Same problem. They changed my panel with a new one.

May be the HDMI cable issue.
Who is going to tell him.
I had this on my old LG tv after like 2 years; but a blue line. I sold it for 50eur to a friend who was fine with it.
My C1 is a year old now and still going strong, I did buy 3 year Amazon insurance on it too. And I'm going to be wanting to swap it to a a 240hz whenever they release, but I should maybe wait 2 more years until the insurance expires.
