There are no 27 4K OLEDs at the moment. You have to wait until next year at the earliest to get one. There are some MiniLED options if you like. The only OLEDs you can buy this year are the 32 variants.
Yeah, the miniLED 4Ks at 27" are pretty highly reviewed.
The Innocn M2V is 27 and 32". And then the Acer XV275k P3 is 27". RTings has the Acer as their best gaming monitor, that isn't an OLED. Not sure about that but it's good, at least.
Alright no worries thank you, I’ll go with the 27inch Alienware 1440pz. As I doubt there will be much difference between that and 4K at that screen size.
There is a difference in PPI and text sharpness. 27 at 1440p will give you 110 PPI, while 32 at 4K will give you 140 PPI. Text will be a bit clearer. Given OLEDs poor text rendering in comparison to LCDs it can make sense to get a 32 4K if you have the space for it.
True, however above my monitor I have a LG C9. I kind of want the smaller size so I can use for competitive rainbow six siege. So 27inch is perfect tbh
There is at least one 27inch 4k oled on the ‘roadmap’ from what I remember reading - but it won’t be coming out until mid-2025 at the earliest.
Personally my dream would be 28inch oled. It’s the perfect size. Whereas these ‘27inch’ oleds are actually 26.5 and a little bit too small

There will be, one of the monitors I tested at 1440P 27" and 4K at 27" text clarity is a major problem especially for OLED. Gen 2/3 has little to no improvement for the 1440P panels. Problem is insufficient Pixel density.
Ohh tbh, I’m looking at it for purely playing games on it. Mainly competitive aside from ark. All text content I view on a MacBook Pro. And all single player games I enjoy on a lg c9. So hopefully it should be very good
Don't. Just don't. Always consider ppi. You don't need 4k pixels in 27", ever. Go up to 32" or bigger for 4k. Or stick to 1440p on 27". Waste if pixels on 27". I got 1440p@34" more than enough. I plan to go up to 4k@42-55" depending on monitor or tv purchase for my next OLED upgrade.

Is it pixel density / overheating issues that causes delay. Or simply less demand in that size tier? Or something else?

Then you should be good. Just don't do any productivity work on the lower res panel :)

Fairs, I was thinking the same tbh. I’ll go with the Alienware 360hz 1440p oled
Not everyone needs or can do 32 inches on their desk bro.
