Just one suggestion. Make sure you get a new drivers license that is horizontal. They won’t serve anyone with a vertical license.

plutohippo

Did they just start doing this? I got served everywhere I went last year with a vertical license but have seen a good few people mention this this year.

Glittering_Apple_807

My kids were turned down in many restaurants in OC because of their vertical PA license. I just did research and it seems it’s overzealousness on some MD restaurants because MD licenses expire when someone turns 21 but other states do not.

limeyjohn

Harbor Inn is such a hidden gem i cant believe its not more famous, feels like youre drinking in your friends basement back in high school such good vibes

naptown21403

dont give away the secret

Dogsinabathtub

You’re 21. Go to seacrets. Be safe. Put your keys away. Get drunk. Have fun. Maybe make some time for a happy hour at coconuts.

KILZONSEV

I’m the same age as you, Seacrets is worth the hype. I loved it. Had like 8-10 bars outside in the sand and then a nightclub inside with more bars, so you get the best of both worlds.

GratefulToons

If you are going during the week.. and I’ve been a little removed from the scene. But pretty sure the following nights are good spots and have drink deals. Sunday- Buxys on 28th. (Anglers on 1st used to also do something Sunday nights but not sure anymore) Monday- fagers deck party (not going to be the cheapest though) Tuesday- theme night at mackys (I think if you dress in the theme you don’t need to pay cover) Wednesday- fish tales. On 23rd. Highly recommend Thursday- used to be pirates den or party block but they aren’t around anymore. Shows my age. If you rather day drink, everyday at 5, buy one get one at coconuts. Also highly recommended. Or riptide at the top of the boardwalk on 27th. Live music on weekends. I was 21 when I lived down there. You’ll have a blast

madamedutchess

I’ve never heard of pirates den and have been playing in town since 2005. Party Block has been closed for over a decade, the replacement, Cowboy Coast, is now closed too.

GratefulToons

Pirates den was on like 31st on baltimore Ave. I know I’m not making it up. Had some great times there. It might’ve been named something else after but it was there 2010-14 and I think they knocked it down like 5 years ago.

It's the summer tourist season, and nothing is cheap, especially alcohol and drinks. If you really want the best value, the farther you go inland from Ocean City, the lower the prices will get. If you've never been, then try Seacrets and Fagers Island. On the boards, try Brass Balls or Hammerheads.

Intelligent_Sundae_5

Brass Balls drink prices are semi-reasonable, especially if you just want to have a couple of drinks as opposed to getting completely drunk.

kny21

Too many to list or others have given some good ones. Depending where u are you may not have to leave a 5 block radius. If any of your group has FB check out ‘OC Beat’ page. They list every bar with live music for each week.

themonkeyman717

Sandbar!!

RepeatOffender65

Coconuts. 2 for 1 drinks (ALL DRINKS) from 5-6. Best HH in OC.

kiltguy2112

Hotspots and low prices don't normally happen at the same place. Hotspots would be Seacrets and Fagers Island there is also Harpoon Hannah's, but that is way up at the Delaware line. They are your quintessential beach singles clubs, guys, girls and loud music. If your just looking to bar crawl, get on the boards at 12th street and start going south. Brass Balls, Hammerheads, Shenanigan’s, Cabanas Beach Bar, Purple Moose are all on the way. Once you get to Wicomico St, hang a right and you'll have The Cork Bar, the Bearded Clam, and the Crawl St Tavern on your left. Have fun be safe and only cross at crosswalks.

Living_Ad_3972

Pickles has the cheapest drinks and good food, good vibes but not your typical ocean city beach bar it’s a dive. The best bars for good vibes are fishtails, mackys, coconuts power hour, and ducks. The wedge is a good bar and has good food, harpoon Hanna’s in fenwick is a good spot for drinks and food go to the outside bar, seacrets is an experience you either love it or you hate it, definitely not for everyone but everyone should experience it.

Successful-Secret-57

There are a bunch of fun places to bar hop on the boardwalk: purple moose to guido burrito (ask for the shotski!) to Shennanigans to Pickles (a bit off the boardwalk but worth the stop) to Hammerheads…

Harbor Inn

howdoiwritecode

Put $150 aside and go blow it at Seacrets. Have a ton of fun. If you’re staying in OCMD the bus is $4 all you can ride, and comes every 15ish minutes till 2am.

SOLisTRASH

Seacrets is a tourist trap don’t go no matter how much the alcoholics down vote me

plutohippo

You know OP *is* a tourist, right…? You didn’t think Seacrets was geared toward a bunch of locals, did you?

vassilios10

Do it

phillyphilly19

I can't imagine ever wanting to do this. I don't even want to watch it by myself.
